Julie's Coffee & Tea Garden

I’ve been coming here since 2013. After a decade of patronage, I can say you truly cannot go wrong with Julie’s. Their menu is almost entirely vegan/vegetarian and they’re very accommodating of dietary restrictions. Their drinks are consistent and my favorite is a half-caf lavender latte with oat milk. The patio is so beautiful and perfect for catching up with friends. I miss their wall of teas, but you can still purchase tea by the ounce at the counter. I regularly buy loose floral teas from them.

We did a lunch party in the back garden and it was so lovely! The staff was very accommodating and kind and went above and beyond. They even accommodated our request for an all vegan menu! We had a lovely time and it was very reasonably priced!

Love to come here for a coffee in the garden regularly too, but the event was especially nice!

What a great spot for breakfast and brunch. Its a very simple and charming place with a great atmosphere. Service is great from the order taker to the server. I got a Julie's breakfast sandwich with orange juice and a medium latte. Everything was on point. Price is also fair. I highly recommend this place when you are in Alameda.

Lovely place in Alameda that specializes on tea with a lovely seating area at the back. Ordered matcha waffles and it was delicious.

They just opened up again and I love this place. They have awesome chocolates, teas, specialty coffees, treats and all kinds of locally made products. I always get something different and they also have a wonderful outside sitting area. Come here with friends enjoy!

Julie's is a neighborhood hub for wonderful, tea, gourmet food & the company of good friends. Highly recommend their Earl Gray blend, lavender lattes, their scones & their baked eggs.

Absolutely a 10/10 coffee shop. The garden outside is amazing where you can do work and just enjoy the greenery. The food and coffee were great!!

Finally took the time to stop by 30 min before closing for a pot of tea and I'm glad I did. The garden is a great place to decompress and relax. Will come back to try the bountiful amount of teas and drinks.

I stumbled on this undiscovered gem right in our neighboorhood. This was one of the best mouth-watering avocado toast I've had grace my taste buds in a long time. The food, and ambiance of the garden took me to a state of Zen. Had coffee and a few types of tea. Everything I tried was great. They got a new customer for life!

Wonderful place! Great cold and hot sandwiches. And a really impressive tea bar with samples made available of a vast array of specialty teas that, if you're like me, you stay and have a few cups and try rare types and blends. They had a blend I absolutely loved with Dandelion Chamomile and earthy flavored herbs. We sat outside and had a super fun time. The service is most excellent.

Really love this place. Great tea selection and nice staff. The back garden is a great place to come and read a book and enjoy a pot of tea. Make sure to try that kombucha! It's strong and flavorful. Not like that store bought stuff. Also the cream that comes with the scone! Really tasty. Good selection of tea and coffee goods like kettles or steepers, and some good books on the topics as well.

Cute and dependable coffee & tea shop with a killer breakfast sandwich. Julie’s Breakfast Sandwich is a little pricey (~$12), but I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s big enough to be shared with a friend!

I come here a lot! I love to get a chai in a pot with honey and cream. It’s perfect. I have had various salads, always fresh and tasty. I just recently had their grilled cheese sandwich. It’s all about the bread, thick! The cheese is NOT American which is perfect. The inside is welcoming and comfortable. The music played is often good. There is always interesting local art in the wall. The staff are friendly and competent. Their tea in bulk is really good. The coffee is always good. I like that it’s not just a bagel and smoothie centered place. The outdoor patio is nice even when cold. The light comes in perfectly.

Julie's has excellent fresh food (non-process) and a unique range of teas and drinks. It's my go-to. The baked goods are amazing and the vegan selections are tasty! The scrambled in steam eggs and baked eggs are my favorite.

Had time to relax and enjoy Julie's tea garden today. Vanilla black tea with cream & honey, ham quiche and sourdough toast...just what I needed!! Happy staff with excellent service and delicious food! ❤
