WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I'm not kidding! They have no regard for their customers safety OR merchandise.

Let me start by saying I have severe asthma and I cannot tolerate any chemicals or perfumes. This is a serious medical issue for me.
This is the reason I specifically chose them. My local dry cleaner said they ONLY water wash. ZERO chemicals will be used.

I originally sent my turkish vintage rug, purchased 3 months prior, to be cleaned. This was 8 months ago. It was a little dirty. No spots. Nothing major.

When I got it back, the rug had yellow streaking throughout. I had to bring it back to the cleaners for them to fix the new discolorations.

When I finally got the rug back, there was a HORRIBLE chemical/perfume smell radiating out of the bag. I spend days calling them, they say that they can get it out, but never explain what the smell is. They still say they don't use any perfumes or chemicals. What? I'm making this up? Bc this is fun for me? I get the rug back. The smell is just as bad.

I was leaving for holidays, so I decided that I would try and air it out while i was out of town for 1.5 months. When I came back, the entire apartment reeked, the rug was still permeated with it, and I had a serious asthma attack that sent me to the emergency room.

I play phone tag with them , all while they are being extremely rude and condescending, treating me like I am a crazy person. They tell me to send it back again. REALLY? Ok, lets try this again. Sent it back, got it back, smells the same. Can't even take it out of the bag and have to put it in a closet to keep from having an attack.

Eventually they finally put me in contact with Reina, whom I assume is some sort of high up manager. It took me 6 months and 4 trips back and forth to the cleaner to speak to her. Finally Im getting somewhere!
She says to send the rug back again, they will put the rug in ozone for a few days to remove the smells. I agree, bc, do I have another choice? All the while I haven't received one apology. Just attitude.
I get a call from her that the rug was sent back and the smell is 100% gone. Every employee has smelled the rug, and there is no odor or perfume smell remaining... yah! It takes a few weeks, I pick it up, smell it through the paper, still there...

I am beyond frustrated. I had been patient with their lack of customer service, and I was willing to let them fix their mistakes, even thought they would never take responsibility. They have taken a perfectly beautiful vintage rug, ruined it, tried to fix it with soaps and chemicals, and won't take ownership. At this point I have been dealing with this for 8 months. I have taken a giant rug back and forth to the cleaner at least 6 times, I'm loosing count. Who has time for this?

I just got off the phone with Reina, where she told me I'm crazy, there is NO smell, they NEVER used any chemicals or perfumes, and there is nothing else they will do for me. I explain that I want to be reimbursed for the rug, and they can take it. I have no use for it now, as I can't use it.
She then starts to tell me that the rug was old and in bad shape, it "has snags all over it" and it isn't worth anything. What?! What does that have to do with anything? I don't care if she approves of my purchase of a vintage rug, or what I paid for it, I just want my money back! I bought the rug 3 months before bringing it to them! I haven't been able to use it since. I proceed to get very angry, no more patience, and she hangs up on me... really? I call back them, the receptionist starts having an attitude with me, I get REALLY angry, then she hangs up on me too. WHAT?! How do you run a business like this?

Please do not trust this company with anything of value to you. They are rude, and they will not take ownership when they ruin your merchandise. Also, local dry cleaners send out to them, so check that yours doesn't use them. It's been a nightmare.
