Very helpful and considerate in dealing with our unfortunate situation. Very reasonable on pricing with us to. It means a lot when your dealing with this situation to know they are doing everything they can to help you.

The actual in person service was absolutely top notch. They were compassionate, helpful, present, and in generally just very helpful on a very difficult day.

The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is that they were difficult to get a hold of on the phone, which can be frustrating. That is the only complaint I had with them, the actual service was performed wonderfully and they handled the coordination with the transportation and floral companies very well.

Their assistance is top notch. I recommend.

Bueno primero quiero desir que la communicacion entre las personas en la oficina era un solo discontrol yo tenia que estar llamando a cada rato por que no me tenian enformados se decia una cosa y luego otra y estava bien confundida .aparte de eso yo le mande la foto de mi ser quierido como yo lo quiera ver y les pide que me cortaran su pelo su barba y su unicorno d cejas nada de eso paso cuando yo lo mire llore de coraje por que no me lo arreglaron como yo se lo pide.pienso que debe de ver mas communicacion y que hablen y confirmen que todo esta bien antes de mandarlo ser algo por que si yo supera que no tenian a segun que lo que me decia nada de que yo pide su pelo cortado yo uvera dicho.y la verdad uno esta pagando mucho dinero y para que no me quede feliz como el se mirava. Do not use this funeral home they are so unprofessional and are shady business, first they cremated my brother body before we had a viewing of him just did it with no family approval, and tried to charge us a viewing fee. Second they tried to keep money from the state that was supposed to be issued to the cemetery for there services over $2000. Third when you ask to talk to management or owner they act like they don’t speak English all of a sudden. Even some of there staff from accounting departments said that what they have done was wrong and shady . They prey on grieving people and try to add charges to your bill if you don’t pay attention. This was the worst experience to have to go through after losing a loved one. If they feel like they can’t play you out of money they don’t want to help you at all giving you the run around for everything. They don’t even deserve one star but you can’t put zero.

Horrible experience, we had initial contact with the LA office but the services were needed in Oakland. There was complete chaos from the bottom to the top and constant miscommunication within them. We had to wait over a month and a half to have a wake for our loved one and once we saw him he didn’t even look like himself and was obviously starting to decompose. Just a very distressing experience, please just save yourself the heartache and stress and don’t come here.

This place is absolutely horrible the funeral director is 1000% percent unprofessional and extremely ghetto. Yesterday my husband buried his uncle and during the middle of the service the funeral director stops the funeral service and yells that somebody stole her cell phone and says she was locking everyone into the chapel until she got her red cell phone back which was found on the floor in the lobby she apparently dropped it in. She really locked the doors of the chapel which happens to be a major fire hazard and one of the nephews of the deceased broke the lock 🔐 on the door and opened it. This is hands down the worst funeral chapel in Oakland California and our family also found out that this funeral director has only been in business for less than a year. PLEASE DON’T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!

Continental funeral home has been holding my father HOSTAGE.It’s been almost 2 1/2 weeks since my father went to this funeral home. My father was not supposed to go to this funeral home. Stanford Hospital autopsy released him to my brother. Which was a mistake. Stanford autopsy was supposed to release him to myself. Stanford told me they would call me when the autopsy was done for the release. That never happened unfortunately. In the meantime, my brother sent my father to Continental-funeral home Oakland California . When I found out through My Pastor that my father was at Continental funeral home. I immediately told them NO that I did not plan on sending my father too your funeral home. I told them also, I am power of attorney . I want to move my Father immediately. I gave the power of attorney forms to the other funeral home. When they proceeded to go pick up my father. From Continental funeral home. They would not release him to the new funeral home. Ramon, Roxy, Sara said they did not understand the terminology and pinnacle codes of my power of attorney. Then when I spoke to Sara Rios Director. Sara stated that I did not have all the forms to the POA. I told her which forms were you needing. Sara stated there were four forms missing. I immediately sent over those forms. Sara continue to keep saying that, I didn’t have all the forms to keep my father HOSTAGE at their funeral home. This went on a several days and still continuing today as of June 4, 2022. Then Sara sends me a text message and says if they do not hear from me in 48 hours they will release the services that my brother rendered to my brother. Now my brother has not giving them any power of attorney forms. I asked him where are his forms. Never No answer. Sara never comments to that answer. Then just yesterday June 3, 2022. Sara tells me that I need a court order. Before they can proceed. Legally, I don’t need a court order. Because I am Power of Attorney. Which give me right to make Decisions for my father. Now each and every day he is decomposing and has not been embalmed. Please do not do business with this funeral home. They are not compassionate. Unprofessional and they do not care about your love ones. It’s all about the money at this point. They are forcing me to keep my father at there Funeral Home not at my wishes. If anyone can help me Resolve this problem please contact me. I am trying to get my father buried this year. Thank you in advance!!!

Update: Its been 51 days now that they have been holding for father Hostage. Now there saying we own them $150 dollars a day. What is this the Ransom money.? To free my father. These people are Corrupt. For personal Gains.

Update: As of Sept 2. Now it has been 105 days. Now The funeral home has contacted the cemetery and has told them that we have abandoned in my father and they’re planning on taking him to the cemetery and burying him without our consent. They told the Cemetery that it’s been 10 days since they haven’t heard from someone. Untrue and Lies. There was no phone calls, no emails, no any type of communication with me. And I am the power of attorney of my father‘s estate. This facility is out of control.
