Santoro's Italian Market & Deli

They have beautiful Parma prosciutto direct from Italy! I bought a lb of it to have at home and had a sandwich made as well. Everything was very reasonably priced and they carry lots of Italian imports. Their sandwiches are quality and the owners are incredibly friendly. How am I just now finding out about this amazing neighborhood deli!? I can't wait to try their imported hot coppa and homemade pastas dishes next!

Delicious and filling roast beef & provolone on ciabatta. This is how sandwiches SHOULD be made. Especially at today's prices. They even gave me a comfy chair to sit outside. 👍🏻

If you want a REAL, AUTHENTIC Italian Deli sandwich, this is the ONLY place to go in Alameda. Sandwiches are always PACKED with premium meats. If you're lucky enough to go on a lasagna day, just get some and thank me later. Love the small, hometown feel too.

Excellent Italian style deli. The food is great with sizable sandwiches! Dutch crunch bread and delicious cheeses available. The atmosphere is that hard to find authentic delicatessen and Italian family run business. It feels like a hole in the wall in SF. Make sure to order ahead. We hit the high school kids lunch rush and had to wait. 5 Stars ⭐.

Best Italian Deli/sandwich shop in Alameda! Our first time there and we were received first class service, my turkey with pepper jack on seeded sour dough - EVERYTHING is fresh!! The staff are fantastic, Heidi, Mike and RJ. They make you feel special, let us know best times to come and off menu items (hot food) prepared FRESH weekdays. We will return so we can try other sandwich combinations on their wonderful daily baked rolls/bread. *We were treated to a slice of fresh made personal pizza...hands down a great experience.

Having being raised in Italy, it's difficult to find places that not only have the quality, but the feel that connects you to your past. This place fits the bill! Food quality excellent! Atmosphere authentic. Whenever I drive through ( because I'm from out of town), I gladly go out of my way to get a small taste of an authentic Italian flavor. I can't really think of abother place with that real feel.

If you’re looking for a deli in Alameda, this is the place to go. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, made with love. Amazing quality meats and cheeses and a great bread selection. I had a turkey, bacon, avocado on French bread, with a delicious pesto spread. Can’t wait to go there again soon! Potato salad and the cookie were also yummy!
