Very attentive service. Clean space. Fairly easy street parking. Tasty and ample portions.

While the lunch buffet had a great deal to offer, I ordered off the menu because I wanted to have leftovers. The fish curry was excellent, as was the onion kulcher bread. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The place has the best ambience, and mouth watering food. Service is very nice and very attentive staff.
The paneer samosa was too good and the daal makhni was delicious.

Have gotten Take out before, but I ate in today. Service was great, food came out very quickly, and it was overall a nice relaxing place to dine. We got the butter chicken, palak paneer, and the aloo gobi masala. Also some garlic naan and basmati rice of course.

This is my favorite place to eat authentic and delicious Indian cuisine, the food and staff both get 5 stars...the owner is a great guy and very polite.... I traveled from Los Angeles all the way to Alameda and my first stop was here. Can't wait to come back.

Had the Butter Chicken ( Makhani ) the recipe was perfect. Not too salty, not under seasoned, just perfect. I also had the garlic Nan and Saffron Basmati Rice. The rice was cooked perfectly too, I love when it separates and not mushy, just perfect. 👍🏾

Delicious Indian food. Ordered the naan, tandoori chicken, mixed vegetables, rice, and chicken masala. Everything was so good. You can choose your degree of spice. Service was good and they were very attentive.

Authentic real Indian food, spiced delicately and cooked nicely. This is so good and healthy that the other reviews who don’t like it just don’t know real Indian foods.

The best Indian restaurant in Alameda, great flavors and fantastic service. There portions are good and even menu prices are very economical. They are very attentive and helpful, definitely going to go back again.

BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER! I absolutely love Indian cuisine and have tried Indian restaurants in both the USA and Europe. India Palace is hands-down one of the best places to go if you're looking for authentic, tasty, and absolutely delicious Indian Food. I got the Chicken Palak to go, paired it with some rice at home, and will definitely be back to try the Chicken Tikka Masala next!

Kulbir at India Palace catered all the food for our daughter’s 160-guest all-day Indian wedding ceremony which included the pre-Baraat appetizers, the post-wedding appetizers, and the buffet-style dinner reception events. In a nutshell, the food was delicious and perfect for both the American and Indian palates. Aside from the food that was cooked to perfection, Kulbir and his staff were incredible and professional on every front -- simply fabulous to work with. I appreciated his attention to detail, his advice on the various menu items, his diligence, and his behind-the-scenes coordination with the staff at the DoubleTree (by Hilton) in Berkeley. These traits, taken together, highlighted Kulbir’s exemplary work ethic and broad expertise in the realm of catering for large events. All in all, the entire day’s activities were a tremendous success.

They have a beautiful outdoor dine in and the food is always good. Been going here for over 20 years.

I got the mixed tandoori platter and it was amazing. With papadam and masalah tea. Highly recommend.

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the tables are welcoming. The food is always good, the spices delicately balanced. Had the tikki masala and veggie kulchas with basmati rice and garlic naan this time. Delicious. 😋

In COVID-19 lock down.... needs to go out and enjoy dinner......place worth visit INDIA PALACE.....out door sitting with Indian traditional touch and delicious food.......Big thanks....🙏

My family and I have loved this place for years. We really enjoyed ordering from them for take out during the pandemic. After the height of the pandemic they redesigned their parking lot to be one of the best outdoor seating venues of any restaurant in town. I go for the food but often get ideas for my garden just looking around what they've done!

One of the best Indian lunch buffets I've had.

Are outside in the covered patio. Tables well spaced. The food of course was delicious, served hot. And was more than we could finish this afternoon. This restaurant is a gem. Enough servers so food came quickly. Definitely the place to go if you want generous servings of well-prepared Indian food.

Exceptional venue, wonderful food, splendid service. I just found this place and it's is only a couple blocks away! (That's going to be dangerous for my waistline.)

We enjoyed the paneer, lamb cashew curry, veggie pakora, bismati rice and some fresh plain naan. Everything was exemplary, fresh and served quickly!

Will definitely try again... And again, I'm thinking. 😎
