Oak Grove Pharmacy

I am so happy that Oak Grove Pharmacy is my local pharmacy!!! The pharmacist’s there are so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind. Akram is the pharmacist that normally helps me.
I had originally called this pharmacy to get info on how to get access to medication while having medi-cal insurance because I was having trouble getting care.

He went out of his way to get me the right phone numbers I needed to schedule appointments and now I’m all set up through medi-cal with his help even though he had no obligation to help me. He simply just cared.

I never do these but feel like I need to… So I’ve been going to Oak Grove pharmacy for maybe 10yrs. When I started going there, the farther was running things. At 1st as most I was just a casual customer(young kid), a few yrs in he knew me by name and always made sure I was ok and got what I needed, always so kind. Now his son runs it and not that long at all he knew me by name and took interest in helping me or recommending alternative routes. He would stay late so I could pick up my perscdiption and even on last min notice on holidays would hang around so myself and others had their scripts over long holidays, etc. My health has been on the rocks for a few yrs now, with an uncertain diagnosis and during this time he has shown great concern, giving advice health/life unrelated, looking up things to get better understanding, I mean just TOP NOTCH service and family. There’s not another place I would rather go.

Oak Grove Pharmacy is simply amazing! Akram (the pharmacist) is always ready to assist and provide fantastic advice. Their prices are incredibly affordable and I haven't had a question that the pharmacist couldn't answer. Their service is quick, efficient, & hassle-free. They even offer delivery services! I highly recommend them!

Wonderful family-owned pharmacy with genuine caring patient helpfulness. It’s like a portal to a pre-mass market chain store era.

Grateful, there are still family owned businesses in the Bay Area that are welcoming like Oak Grove Pharmacy. My prescription transfer went smoothly and haven't gone back to CVS since. Nasar has always been accommodating and fully transparent with regards to my specific needs. Sometimes it's good to know there are still neighborhood pharmacies that make you feel less like a number, and that more personable on a case by case basis. Same quick turn around as any major pharmacy without feeling they're just trying to fulfill a quota.

Honestly 11/10 pharmacy ! Their service is always top of the line, they respond and refill fast, + doesn’t typically have a long wait time.
They are always kind/understanding, so theres a big difference compared to the franchise pharmacies I’ve been to prior!
If you catch Akram as your pharmacist, you won’t have to wait long, he’s the best!

This is the most friendliest neighborhood pharmacy in our area. My parents who are in their 90’s have been using this pharmacy for 20+ years. The owner and son are both pharmacists and they are excellent. Superior customer service we never see at national chains. I highly recommend that we use this pharmacy going forward. They care !!!

Being from out of state my allergies here flare up more than usual. Before I found Oak Grove and the pharmacist I had many sinus issues. With his help and guidance I am feeling much better. Highly recommend calling or going into this pharmacy if you need extra care with seasonal allergies.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve been a longtime Walgreens / CVS / etc customer. Today that all changed! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Akram at Oak Grove and can’t say enough about him. I’ll never look back! I sincerely appreciate the amazing customer service, patience, and his incredibly kind demeanor. Thank you!

Best Pharmacy I have ever been to hands down. The main pharmacist who I believe is also the owner has a big heart and will do everything in his power to make sure patients get their medication. This is the main reason why I stopped going to CVS and the big box stores. I will not be shopping anywhere else.

This family-owned pharmacy is the best. Nasser and his son, Akram, are wonderful pharmacists. They always go the extra mile to make sure we are taken care of. We have been going to them for years!

Best pharmacy you can go too. Very caring pharmacists. Highly recommend. I come from Antioch 25 min away cause these big chain pharmacies don’t give a damn like Oak Grove does

I've been using Oak Grove Pharmacy since 2010. The main pharmacist, Naser Abou Khalil, is super-knowledgeable, really friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Non-prescription items in the store are very often LESS expensive than in big chain pharmacies. When Naser is away, his sub pharmacists are great, too. Love this place, and it is conveniently located in the Trader Joe's shopping center on Oak Grove in Concord.

Fantastic pharmacy! The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to order a specific generic medication for me that CVS quit carrying. I was so annoyed with the long wait times and the big chains not communicating well, I’m never going back to CVS or Walgreens! I could not be happier since switching to Oak Grove!
