The store is stocked well. The store is clean. The people at the meat counter are very friendly and helpful. The deli department could learn how to treat customers from them.

Being across the street from Whole Foods Market, this Safeway is fanciest Safeway I have ever shopped at. Their fresh meat counter is the longest one I have ever seen at a Safeway. Huge floral area with lots of floral options and balloons to choose from.

#kidfriendly and #accessibilityfriendly. Race car shopping carts and motorized shopping carts at the front entrance. Unisex Handicapped Restrooms have diaper changing tables. Large dining area kinda has a Starbucks with cushy chairs to sit (free WiFi in the building).

Wine selection and Bulk Foods Area can easily compete with Whole Foods Market across the street.

I do like the friendly outside sign by the shopping carts as a reminder - “did you remember to bring your reusable shopping bag?” (Nice Touch).

Most of the free parking is on top of the building.

Definetly a nice new safeway, with a good variety of items. Nice bakery selection and hot foods. Honestly the fried chicken in the deli section is really good. Super cripsy, juicy aaand had has a nice flavor to it. Definetly better tasting than some of the other safeways. I come here just for the ready cooked fried items and salads sometimes. They also have a nice seating area within the store near the starbucks where you can sit have a nice coffee or eat something.

Pretty nice I'm but local, I was traveling. Great vibe when I was there, people had smiles on their faces felt like good energy. Pretty great selection and okay prices from what I saw considering how expensive everywhere is these days. Keep the good vibes

The lady at the floral department at Safeway on Ygnacio and Oak Grove did a fabulous job making an arrangement that would fit in a special vase I had. Even though she couldn't take it in(due to Covid restrictions) she looked at it and then created something to fit. She was extremely helpful and it was very much appreciated. I didn't get her name.... dark hair and glasses. I'll come back a lot because of her!! Thank you!

Don't miss the oven fresh section...has a vast variety of birthday cake options...needs a self check out section

I love this Store! It's farther away than other Safeways but It's bigger, cleaner, love the deli, the Sushi is always fresh, selection and availability of goods is great! My dad even started using the pharmacy,!!

I had a hard time finding what I was looking for and this gentleman from the milk department named Rich was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me! He is by far the most kind and caring person I have ever dealt with at any Safeway!!! HE is DEFINITELY A BLESSING to the Safeway name!!!!

Good selection, most things in stock, much cleaner and better laid out than the two locations nearby. Self Check is better attended as well so if you prefer quick in and out it’s the best spot.

The parking lot is a mess though. Unless you go at the most off hours, it’ll be a headache. It’s never full though.

The quality of meat is great and they offer promotion every Friday! Really enjoy shopping at this safeway. Their stock is always sufficient compared with a nearby subway.

One of the best Safeways. New accommodations, two private clean bathrooms, everything almost always in stock, friendly non-judgmental customer service, helpful and eager staff.

Recommended. I just count myself as lucky to have this as my neighborhood grocery store as opposed to a lesser Safeway or other company.

They even kill it in the bakery in terms of freshness. The only part I could slightly knock down(not with enough emphasis as to lose a star is the hot food section. I would shoot for the sushi or something you can heat up at home. Just going to leave it at that. 🥴

Most people are friendly. Produce needs much more attention. Empty bins. Spoiled items mixed in with good.

This Safeway is a large store where I can always find what I need, even if I am preparing a receipe with hard to find items. The meat here is very high quality. The selection of sushi, cheeses and produce will satisfy even the most demanding shopper. I am always pleased at the great choices offered when I shop here. I also like that there is always plenty of parking spaces too.

This Safeway is closest to our house. We love shopping here. Beautiful store, newly updated and clean! Shelves are always stocked full and product selection is amazing!! Thank you! Makes life so much easier when I can get everything I need at one place! Checkers could be a little faster but hey. Love this store.

I love shopping at the Safeway on Ygnacio Valley Rd. Today's experience was better than most though. I go out of my way to come to this store because it is cleaner and more spacious than the others. I feel I like I have more options to select from. Today though I had exceptional service at checkout and I left much happier because of this experience. Tina and Katie took care of me. They were bright and cheerful and very quickly had me checked out and on my way making sure that I got what I was looking for. Time is very valuable to me so their efforts do not go unnoticed. I will continue to drive to the other side of town for this kind of service even more than the space and options. Waiting in line adds stress to my life and today, I can happily say, I am stress free. Thank you Tina and Katie!!!

Love shopping at Safeway when I’m in California visiting my parents and siblings. This time while we were here they had a fun monopoly game going on and I won lots of free stuff. I have shopped at almost all of the locations close to my parents home and brothers-in-laws house. Stores are always clean and well stocked and love the Starbucks inside of each of them. Getting free Starbucks and rewards for shopping at Safeway is fun and I look forward to using their app. When I’m in town

Nice Safeway, clean and all workers in deli were great. However, they sold me chicken hard as a rock. Not edible, waste of my money. Edit.
I called and they are going to make it right.

Love this Safeway. Not far from my old neighborhood off of Oak Grove. Just over the hill from Pittsburg. Has better variety of items than FoodCo.

I like the selection of meat in the meat department.

Great experience. Went there for lunch, ended up getting a great sushi experience platter and a drink to bring back to office. The lines were short and fast and the customer service experience was great, everyone was very friendly.
