The projector, projector screen and disco light bar that I rented for my event were perfect and exceeded my expectations. We had a last minute, same-day need for a musician quality mic and PA set-up. Jay responded right away and made it happen. He provided very clear instructions for set-up and the equipment was top-notch. Price was reasonable but service and quality are 5 stars. We will definitely use Sound and Video Rentals again and highly recommend them!

This was a great experience! Jay set us up with a karaoke machine for my daughter's 16th birthday. The kids had so much fun and there were so many songs to choose from during the evening. Jay was super responsive and went through each step with us for putting the machine together at the party location. He let us know about ways to troubleshoot any issues that might come up (nothing came up at all). He also gave us his direct number during the event. We will definitely rent from Jay and Sound and Video Rentals in the future! Thank you!

I found this company for a fairly last minute event and I'm so happy that I did. Jay was very prompt and thorough. During pick up he walked me through everything and I felt very confident about setting everything up myself. The event went very smoothly without any issues, everything worked properly, and set up and use was very easy. I would highly recommend this business and I would use them again.

Jay was AMAZING!! Called him the week of my event and told him I needed the best speakers for a crowd of almost 200 people. Even though he was booked he squeezed me in, came in delivered the system and set it up. He even gave us extra accessories to help amplify the sound even more. The sound system he set up was amazing as well as all the accessories he gave us to make everything run smoothly. Thank you so much Jay! Jay was a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. My husband and I reached out for rentals to use for our outdoor wedding ceremony. It was important to us that we sourced high sound equipment because we've been to many outdoor weddings and sound was always an issue.

In our initial call, Jay was full of information and gave us input that we had not considered initially. He was very thorough on how to use the equipment and even offered his service the day-of for any emergencies. Turns out our ceremony sound was seamless and we had no issues at all. With an outdoor forest venue and 200 guests using their phones - it's amazing that sound was perfect!

Jay came through for a last minute celebration of life. I cannot give him enough stars! His responsiveness, professionalism and kindness made the entire planning process less stressful. His attention to detail from checking the system several times before leaving and taping down all of the wires allowed us to focus on what mattered most. Not to mention his equipment was in excellent condition with everything labeled for ease of use once he left. I would recommend his services to anyone planning an event.

Great experience working with Sound and Video Rentals. Rented speakers, cables, microphones for outdoor wedding. Jay was very helpful explaining the equipment in advance. Delivery to me was smooth and on-time, and Jay explained connections for the set-up. The equipment was easy to set up on the day of the event, and worked perfectly for our needs. Pickup of equipment was on-time and smooth. I'd definitely rent again from this company!

I used AV rentals for a 30th birthday karaoke party for my daughter. Jay did a fabulous job in every possible area. He answered my call, provided me quickly with great pricing and contract information. He called to confirm and arrived early to set up. He was professional and careful when setting up. Provided sound system + microphone + music for our outdoor wedding ceremony at Heather Farm in Walnut Creek. We chose one song to walk the aisle to and a second one to play after we were married but the same song was played both times. Husband didn't notice and I was too happy to care at the time but just something to note. Overall we were very happy we chose them for our wedding!

I had the most absolute pleasure of doing business with Sound and Video Rentals. I had a large groundbreaking event and what I had asked for was for someone to come out and set up the audio and then come back and take it down after the event. Jay went above and beyond and stayed throughout the entire event keeping a watch on the volume and making sure everything went smoothly. Planning a wedding can get quite stressful. And being pretty bad at it, we had pretty much forgotten the need for speakers, mic, etc until the last minute. Jay patiently explained to me what was needed and what all of the options were for renting it all. I had my friend pick everything up and Jay showed him exactly how to set everything up once we brought it to our venue. It worked flawlessly and I was very grateful of that. Great company!

Jay was great! We needed some flexibility in the rental schedule and he went above and beyond. The group had a blast and the equipment worked flawlessly. The color coded wires helped for a fast and easy set up.

Sound and Video Rentals recently came to my rescue when my on campus resources couldn't supply my needs for our panel at Stanford Homecoming. Jay responded immediately to my inquiry and came to campus to inspect the venue. We had challenges regarding access to the lecture hall, but Jay and his team skillfully put together the required equipment and set up the day before. Execution on day of event was flawless. I should note that the final cost was comparable to what we would have paid our campus AV group. We at Stanford DCI are 100% pleased by the services provided by Sound and Video Rentals.

I was nervous renting the equipment right off the bat. I met Jay and the guy is a good dude. We talked about an hour 1/2 about Dj's we knew Clubs we went to and where we worked coming up. Vinyl Vinyl Vinyl... I even named a song and he knew the artist.. No one ever knows this song. Okay so I picked up the equipment went to my gig and It was perfect. The speakers he recommended were WOW. I knew QSC was the best but an 8 inch I thought maybe I would not have enough sound. They killed it ! The time he took with me to feel comfortable was over the top. I will only use his company for the future. Ten stars.

Jay was awesome to work with!! Communications was excellent.
He walked me through the set up and even had me take a video of it which proved to be immeasuarable as I was setting up for a large event!
