JC Painting and Remodeling is amazing! Jeff and his crew have come to our house two different times. They completed: kitchen cabinet painting, cut, painted and installed new base trim all over the house, painted all woodwork around doors and windows , painted walls, and refinished our solid wood doors. It has been so much work-but all done in a timely and cost effective manner. We are thrilled the way our house looks now! Also, Wendi-Jeff's wife was so friendly and easy to work with as well. She helped with paint colors, estimates and scheduling. I would 100% recommend JC Painting & Remodeling!

We have used JC Painting for all of our painting needs going back 7 years. They completely painted the outside of our house and recently, they painted the interior. From the initial walk-around of my house for a quote, it was clear Jeff knows his profession. He quickly pointed out several details that would impact the job and they were items I would not have noticed. I have a 3,000sqft house, so this was not a small job. The 2nd floor has peaks that are 40+ft. The house also has 4 colors. It's been about 6 months since the job was complete and it looks great. Really happy and I'd call Jeff if I ever needed anything else painted.

JC painting did an amazing job! They painted our house, shop and all out buildings to match. They had a designer help with the color choices. They were on schedule and were very professional! I will use them in the future for any painting needs.

I had Jeff take up a project that my previous tradesman walked out on. It was a tall order for him it ended up incurring more hours than it was supposed to. Not only did Jeff foot the bill but also did touch ups without issue.

I owe a big thank you to these folks and was shocked to see these negative reviews.

I had a really good experience working with JC Painting. I hired them to paint the exterior of my house, garage and other out buildings. Jeff and his crew were on time, worked very cleanly and did a beautiful job. I read a few other reviews that expressed issues and defensive behavior when working with Jeff, I just didn't have that experience. When I asked Jeff to make some touch-ups, there was no altercations, he just sent his guys to make the fixes. My house looks beautiful and I would happily have him back the next time painting is needed.

Although JC Painting scheduled very quickly and got the job done in a short stretch of time, many areas were missed or just not painted at all. Good thing I have left over paint to fix those areas. All in all, for what it cost, I hoped for better quality. I am thankful for the quick response, quick scheduling, and quick work but at the end of the day, quick didn’t have the best results!

Our experience with this company was so terrible that I really wish I could give this company no stars.  The owner, Jeff Clanton, is an unprofessional bully who does not follow through on his promises.

We hired JC Painting &  Remodeling to paint the exterior of our house.  We also needed repair and carpentry work.  After touting his "30 +" years of experience, he gave us a bid of $1000 for repairs.  After starting the work, he came back saying that a lot more repair work was needed.  It ultimately ended up costing $2,000 over the bid!  Now, we completely understand that things come up in the course of performing work, but it seems like someone with his experience should have caught some of the "additional" items that needed to be addressed -- especially if those additional items almost triple the cost.  The only logical explanations are: a) he was careless on the walkthrough or b) he lowballed the bid to get the work, knowing it would cost more.

Jeff was also a very difficult person to work with.  He was really defensive anytime we asked questions about anything.  For example, he got really defensive when we pointed out areas that needed to be retouched -- even though he asked us to look around for places that needed retouching! Anyone who has ever hired painters, and anyone who has ever painted professionally, knows that there will likely be touch ups. I've worked with painters before, and I have never had a painter become so aggressive after pointing out areas that may have been missed or weren't completed as agreed. Instead of explaining why he felt a touch up wasn't necessary, he just started raising his voice, claiming that he is the expert. He even yelled at my mom, who is an older lady. He was so rude and condescending to her. Any professional should be able to explain why they are doing what they are doing in a way that is easily understood by the customer.

This company already has a BBB complaint against them, claiming a lot of the same issues that we experienced (e.g., Jeff, the owner, being rude, defensive, and aggressive). I would never use them again and would caution anyone looking to give them a try.

I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. The owner is unprofessional and his office staff doesn't know how to answer the phone.

Edit. They decided that I was not able to be reached after calling and leaving one voicemail, in the same day I received an email. I promptly responded to both as soon as I was off of work that same day.
