Hiring Dan was a great experience, beginning to end. He promptly got back to me, got over to check out the site right away, gave me a fair price quote, and it was on. Dan had all the high level tools needed to prep and prepare my wall for me at the highest quality level. His knowledge level clearly demonstrated his years of experience. Dan helped my husband build a playset my kids got for Christmas. He was very punctual, showed up right at 9am, took a 1 hour lunch break and then worked until it got too dark out to work. He showed up the next day right at 9am to finish the job which only took a couple more hours. He is very friendly and professional. Even though he’s a painter, he’s still willing to do handyman jobs like this. I highly recommend him!

I contacted Dan about painting my commercial kitchen. Dan came out and accessed the work to be done - trim, walls, ceiling, rafters and above the hood. I was impressed when he pointed out all the trouble spots that were to be dealt with. He knew I was on a budget and was able to prioritized the problem areas (previous bad paint jobs, hard to reach areas, bubbling, air bubbles in the mud, mix of drywall and plaster). I was able to make smart decisions on what was important to me. Even though we didn't tackle everything it came out better than expected. His team was courteous, on time and worked efficiently. We used Fine Line for our house remodel project in San Francisco. They did interior trim, doors, and lots of detail work- all great quality. Dan came by to our home in Laurel Heights to do a walk through and give us an estimate for a whole house interior paint refresh, as we are preparing to sell our home. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and his expertise came through as he walked through each room ( he was able to notice small details that would need work on the doors and trim and I appreciated his attention to detail). He understood our need for a budget and gave us an extremely competitive quote in a timely manner. We were not able to work with him this time around due to schedule constraints, but I would definitely hire him in the future and recommend him to friends.
