Wow! What a great bike shop! We stopped by on short notice to get some thing repaired, and they were able to very quickly replace a hand grip that I needed. No charge for the labor, and very quickly completed. Super friendly, helpful staff.

Patrick in repair dept was knowledgeable and communicative! I was created with a friend hello when I entered the store. Well done!

Expensive, but it's Marin and the service matched the price. " The Surgeon " got me back on the road quickly and without any fuss, even though I just dropped by without booking an appointment. Solid service!

Mike's bikes service in Sausalito is the best! Always a friendly greeting upon entry, and knowledgable staff. They are super busy but always do there best to help me get my bike back out on the trails.

I had great experience from the place. I got a very good deal bike with a very nice color and it looks very durable. A vintage style bike but very well kept.
I biked with it for a while and I enjoyed the commute very much. I am very satisfied.

Tbh I had the vibe that this place was the kind of big shop where they always make you wait a week and a half to get work done, and they assume that you know nothing about your own bike.

As a snobby road cyclist that attitude offends me, so I was really pleasantly surprised when I stopped in and worked with David. He took a look at my bike right away, didn’t make any condescending remarks about what went wrong, and fixed my issue for a really reasonable fee. Great dude, and I’ll go back to him for sure.

Super helpful team. Had an AXS battery go flat leaving me single speed in the middle of my ride. They charged my old battery and sold me a replacement. A quick stop and I was able to finish my ride in time for bratwurst and beers.

Huge thanks to the tech team at Mikes Bikes, in particular Patrick, for help getting my bike set up and also dealing with an issue on my wheels. I've really appreciated their help and trust them completely with doing good and thoughtful work - would recommend to anyone.

Amazing bike shop - my roommate who is a long time cyclist was stuck due to a zip car error and they kindly hosted him and helped him to resolve the issue. I would always go there if I can given how much they support you when you’re in trouble!!

Patrick Robertson (the surgeon!) made a thorough assessment of my 2017 Orbea Alma (purchased from Mike's Bikes) to determine the best path to restore full function. The repairs were completed on time and at a very fair price.

Short: Great crew, super friendly, competent and reliable. Take your bike there once and you'd be a permanent customer.

Longer version:
After reviewing local bike shops I was contemplating to take my bike to a different store which had impeccable rating. I decided to give Mike's Bike a shot and I'm glad I did. My bike had been sitting in a garage for a couple of years. Dan immediately took the bike and started tuning it up. I was ready for a lot of upgrades or repairs but this shop attends to your bike on minimal budget.
I asked to try a new saddle, they offered a few options after a few measurements. They even have a 30 day return policy just to try a new saddle if you wish.
Meanwhile, I was interacting with most of the team and they are lovely, super friendly and genuinely loving their job. They simply make you feel like a friend hanging out in their shop and giving you more reason to take your biking journey seriously.

You have a great service department and Dan Kirschner is outstanding. He is great with the customer, knows so much about bikes and is super helpful. Dan is a true professional and runs the best service department in Marin. Also, Dolores Mosqueda in the sales department is exceptional employee. She is a great sales person that really makes you feel at home and has in-depth product knowledge too. These 2 employees make me want to recommend Mike's Sausalito to everyone!

Bike tech, Dan, is very courteous and knowledgeable and helped me with needed changes and repairs to help get me back on the road. Techs Dan and Tamara are awesome, as well as the other staff member’s at Mike’s Bikes if Sausalito. If I need repairs, new equipment or have questions about my bike, I turn to Mike’s Bikes of Sausalito!!

I rolled in mid-ride with a mysterious mechanical problem. Aaron and the rest of the crew went out of their way to help me diagnose it. In the end we couldn't fix it right away, but they came up with a short-term solution to get me home safely. I was impressed by the friendly and attentive service!

Great shop and always nice to stop by on rides.
