Surprisingly light Italian food, good flavors. They didn't use too much fat and salt, which was really nice. Our pasta and seafood was a little too strong on the lemon but light like homemade. Our server was fun, nice and fast. We had a nice time and will probably be back.

Found this place on Yelp while searching for restaurants to take a day trip down from Sacramento. This place is an absolute gem. A tiny restaurant on a corner that you would almost miss if you weren't looking for it. The mushroom ravioli and the bruschetta were both to die for. We will definitely be back for this place, every bite was heaven.

Yes! Just pull up on the street, there’s plenty of parking.

We’re the staff nice?
Ok, so I couldn’t wait to review this part. The staff were so nice and friendly! They sent out a “take this for later” tiramisu from the chef after dinner and were always nice and friendly. I would give the staff 15/5 stars!!!

How was the price?
So good! It was only $40 for a medium pizza, a large salad, and a glass of wine!

Anything worthwhile near?
This whole neighborhood was so nice and cute. There were things across the street but it wasn’t too busy. I’m sure you could find a hotel.

Was it fun/did it taste good?
I personally only had the pizza and tiramisu but they were both delicious! My friend and the salad and wine, and she says they were both great. Before we ordered, they brought out bread with pizza sauce and sautéed onions. I could’ve eaten those alone! It was also vegetarian friendly for those who don’t eat meat.

Is it safe to go during COVID?
Since it is a restaurant, you do have to-obviously- eat. And to do that you have to take off your mask. So, there is a little bit of a risk. BUT... the servers all have masks on, and there’s only outside seating. The tables are all 6 feet apart, so you can feel safe eating there.

How was it overall?
SO. NICE! Between the good price and nice people, you can guarantee a good time. I wouldn’t recommend going for a short time-but only because you’ll want to stay! There’s nice music and twinkly lights so you can relax and enjoy your night.

My first experience at Roma Antica was very positive. For lunch, I had the carbonara and tiramisu; both were delicious. The service was attentive. I was surprised, however, to see that while all of the staff wore masks, a manager/owner was walking around indoors without a mask—perhaps a red flag.

Just got better under new owners which is really a great surprise. Service is really personal and great setting. The food just got even better prepared as I think they said they have a new chef as well.

My husband and I really enjoy stopping here for lunch when we’re in Larkspur. The sandwiches are delicious and served on freshly baked bread (it’s made from pizza dough, so it’s like a sandwich on a very thin crust pizza. It’s SO good). The workers here are very kind. Highly recommend it!

I just had a special occasion with Roma Antica Larkspur. The staff are very nice and patient. Food was delivered completely on my party’s table. Food tastes delicious!

Delicious authentic Italian food! Their wine selection is great and super cheap by the bottle compared to any restaurant around. Went there with the whole family, everyone loved it.

We had the best lunch on their lovely enclosed patio. Everything we ordered was delicious and great service.

We did a very large takeout order on Father’s Day. It was my third experience with the food and staff and the best yet.
The marriage of authentic Italian cuisine with fresh, current recipes is hard to find. Highly recommend. And thank you to all working there.

I’m picky about Italian food, and this this spot hit it out of the park. While I can’t speak about the pasta (next time!) but the pizza Antica was total perfection down to the salty, warm crust. Fior di latte + honey was a winning combo. The panzanella was exactly what I wanted on a warm evening to go with my glass of vermentino. Ci tornerò presto!

Great ambiance and service service. The porcini mushroom ravioli with black truffle cream sauce and the rigatoni with sausage in tomato cream sauce are unbelievable. Jose is the best! The Ferrari of Italian restaurants in Marin County!

Perhaps the best Italian restaurant I have been to in the Bay Area. Their eggplant lasagna was stellar.

These folks know how to make some seriously delicious sauces for their pasta dishes. Outstanding pasta. And the pizzas are up there too.

Great restaurant, food and atmosphere! We ordered several dishes to share. Rissotto with Burratta topping for appetizer, Burratta pizza, eggplant ball, ravioli, and eggplant mazarella lasagna. Everything tasted great and they prepared all the food fast and the service was great! Every dish was flavorful, we can’t wait to come back and try more dishes

Awesome Food! Had a date night with my wife after so long and we were craving Italian! Loved the atmosphere. Had a few glasses of wine and it was great! The food portions are huge and generous and everything tasted delicious.
