Excellent food, very relaxing chilling atmosphere. Been here twice, and have not been disappointed. The Filet carpaccio is a must. It is absolutely fantastic. They are also known for their Brick Oven pizzas. 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻

Picco’s at the heart of the town of Larkspur is delightful. Especially on a warm sunny evening.
I’m a fan of gnocchi and Picco’s rendition of it is outstanding! My dinner companion and I both had the steak. Delicious! And I also had salad which was very good. For dessert I had the cannoli. It was ok. The pastry shell was a bit too hard. I want to go back and have the pizza! The aroma was so alluring. I also want to sit outside on a warm evening and enjoy the unique ambiance that is Larkspur.

Like others said, the servers were kind and attentive. They offered a kid size pasta (penne or spaghetti) with butter/parm or marinara, which wasn’t on the menu. If you like, it can come before the adults meal. It came promptly which was really appreciated. Pork chops is a cozy, tasty dish with good sauce. The chicken sliders were spicy but not too much with a great crunchy batter. The gem salad is bright and refreshing. Loved it accompanying the rest of the meals! The Double 8 soft serve is creamy, but light and so good! Everything was delicious and it was a great experience.

Possibly the best restaurant in Marin County.... No, it definitely IS the best. The best of everything: food, service, ambiance. Yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Who else makes fresh risotto every half hour? The menu changes based on what is fresh and available. Also, the bar is stocked full of all your top shelf choices. Fantastic Italian restaurant at the end of town in Larkspur. Rustic contemporary vibe with lots of exposed brick, very active bar, and bustling dining room. Many small plates and really tempting small plates, pasta dishes, risotto and entrees on the menu. The risotto and pastas as well as veggie sides were delicious and the dessert was out of this world. Although it looks like they make good cocktails here and have a nice wine list, they will also open bottles that you bring in for a corkage fee which they were gracious enough to do for us. The service was great and not overbearing. Parking on street so you might have to drive around a little but otherwise fairly plentiful.

I came here for a dinner date because the Chef was my elementary school bully and I wanted to write a bad review but I couldn't do that because the food was delicious, Chef Nordby is a master at his craft and maybe one day I'll come back... In a different disguise of course.

I have been going to Picco Restaurant since it first opened. It is my absolute go to spot everytime I'm in Marin. It's the best food in the county. The dishes to try are: the raw ahi tuna, sticky rice appetizer; risotto (a fresh batch is made every 20 minutes & it's ingredients change with the seasons); homemade pasta and sliders. You may wonder why I included a photo of people in my review. This is the first review I've given where I included photos of the staff. The two bartenders, Gavin (left) and Eric (right) are instrumental to this restaurant's charm. Their gallantry, conversation and attentiveness make the bar the best seat in the house. Enjoy!

Forgot to take a photo of the soft-serve ice cream drizzled with caramel, hot fudge, sea salt, aaand... olive oil!!! What a surprise! Food, service and ambiance were great. Don’t forget to get the soft-serve with everything on it including the olive oil!!

Wow! This was a really exquisite meal and service. We ordered the tuna tartare, Mexican corn, harissa carrots, gnocchi, and caramel pot de creme. Everything was innovative and delectable, but order of recommendation would be: gnocchi, tuna tartare, pot de creme, carrots, and corn.

If it’s nice out, I’d also recommend reserving a table outside.

Cozy place and very good meal. Servers are nice and very attentive.

Stopped for early dinner. Service was superb and food had dynamic FRESH flavors.

We arrived at Picco shortly after opening, and despite our failure to make a reservation for our party of 7 they managed to seat us immediately (and tucked into our own private little corner of the restaurant at that!). The food was fantastic and the ambiance was amazing. All dishes are extremely sharable and I highly recommend coming with a group who doesn't mind a "family style" meal so that you can try a bit of everything.

That being said the true standout of Picco and our dinning experience was our server Kate. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, recommended drinks to all the folks in our bachelorette party, and made it a stand out experience for us. She was friendly, witty, and provided exceptional service. Our glasses were never empty and she recommended an array of sharable dishes to the table that were loved by all. She got our meals timed so that all of us were served at the same time despite the risotto only coming out every half hour. She was truly a cut above the rest, and by the end of the meal the entire party couldn't stop singing her praises. (We love you Kate!)

So while the food was great, with an amazingly crafted menu and incredibly talented chefs. I highly recommend going for the atmosphere and a chance to experience their incredible staff (and maybe even have the amazing experience of Kate as your server!).

Love Pico! Great service from hostess to wait staff. Food is really good and vegan friendly. Good drinks too. The place is busy but not super noisy. Very good vibe.

I think I found my new favorite pizza place. The bread is just right. I had their potato rosemary pizza and it was the best! So fresh and we'll flavored. They have a great wine and beer list too.

Excellent food but when seated inside, space is tight and the atmosphere is noisy. Also can't enjoy pizzas inside for some reason.

The papperdelle with wild mushroom ragu is fantastic. You won't believe how creamy and good the soft serve dessert, choice of toppings. The strawberry sorbet is the most intense I have ever tasted.

This picturesque hilltop home in Larkspur has been a beacon for Marin County diners for a very long time and its name, Picco, is Italian for "summit." His Italian-influenced cuisine heaps on Marin ingredients such as the fresh turnips that dot his silky-smooth duck tortelli or the Meyer lemon yogurt and beets that sit atop a nourishing kale salad prepared by chef and owner Bruce Hill. The "Marin Mondays" menu is an excellent deal in particular. The attentive wait staff deftly navigates the bustling dining room while carrying steaming bowls of risotto that was prepared every half hour. The atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy, and as a result, it's the ideal location for gatherings of couples as well as groups of friends. The ceiling is high, and the walls are exposed brick.

Absolute best pizza and the vanilla ice cream with olive oil and sea salt is a must!
