Dipsea Cafe

We went on Thursday afternoon and it was pretty much empty. We decided to stop on our way into SF. The food was amazing. 4 people in the park all enjoyed their food a lot. The service was great too. I'd highly recommend this place for brunch!

Great lunch food and cozy atmosphere at this nice little greek restaurant! Parking is too tight for the number of people that want to dine here, but that is the only negative. Food was high quality and quickly delivered to our group of six. Servers were friendly and our experience exceeded expectations. Not being from area, we discovered this after searching on Google as we were passing through. Wonderful!

The food was pretty good and the bathrooms were clean. The waitress was helpful and friendly. Menu had a mix of breakfast (served all day), Greek food, and American classics.

Such a beautiful plate and absolutely delicious!! Also dog friendly if you sit outside.

Great local spot. Stopped here with family randomly and totally enjoyed our meal.

Great atmosphere and nice staff. Right on the water 😎. The chicken and waffles plate was really good. Light crumbly breading and the waffle was also not heavy. My wife's omelette and home fries were also very good. Cappuccino dry was made correctly and chocolate powder was on point 👌🏽

Very nice staff! Loved the seat by the fireplace. Lots of options for people with dietary restrictions. Has wonderful coffee, lattes, and espresso. Really enjoyed the biscuits with gravy.

Loved this diner in Mill Valley! Very friendly wait staff, good food and beautiful sunny deck! Breakfast menu was huge and so were the portions. I got fresh pressed carrot juice and a Mexican omelet. Will be back soon!

One of my favorite places to stop by after hiking in Muir Woods - the Dipsea Cafe has been a staple for as long as I can remember.

My friends and I always prefer sitting out on the patio, but be prepared to wait on the weekends if you show up during the busy time. They have a delicious pear, walnut, and brie omelette that I order if I'm feeling particularly in the need for a different blend of flavors, which pairs nicely with one of their mimosa's with fresh squeezed orange juice.

I've never received bad service, even when they are slammed, which is pretty phenomenal given that I've been frequenting them for so many years. Dogs are welcome on the patio, and there is a quaint view of the creek. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it's completely worth it.

My first experience was fabulous! I was a little nervous with my food allergies. The server was knowledgeable and able to assist without hesitation. The outdoor seating was relaxing and I didn’t feel rushed. I’ll definitely be back.

Best brunch in Marin. My family has been going to the Dipsea for years (20?) and have had consistently wonderful food and great service. Thanks to John, the owner, who is always there to greet his guests as if they were his family. Thanks, John, for taking care of my family today, Mother's Day. Another wonderful meal at a very special restaurant.

This was the second time to have breakfast there. The waitress remembered us, always nice to be remembered, she was friendly and efficient. The food came out hot and delicious. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Definitely on my list of breakfast places.

I haven't been here in a while. Not since I lost my Dad. I made a plan for a road trip and had breakfast here. Dipsea was always great and it still is. The food, the service, and the fireplace. Just a comfy place for breakfast.

This is the best breakfast place in southern Marin. They have an excellent section of breakfast items, including amazing buttermilk pancakes and my favorite, biscuits and gravy - either on its own or with eggs and home fries. There is always a list of specials, today it included huevos rancheros with shredded beef, which the husband said was excellent with a good amount of spice. The coffee is good and strong, the service great and now that it is cooler, the fireplace is on. They serve lunch, too, but we always have breakfast.

Yummy pancakes, perfect poached eggs over homemade cornbeef hash. Huge portions. Fun retro atmosphere with good service. Try to go during the week as it is very busy on weekends.
