Arizmendi Bakery & Café

Arizmendi Bakery and Cafe is an absolute delight for pastry lovers. Their scones are undeniably the best I’ve ever had, and the pecan rolls and garlic artichoke rolls are simply amazing. Having explored numerous pastry places in Marin, SF, and Napa, I can confidently say that Arizmendi has secured the top spot as my favorite. The quality and taste of their pastries are exceptional.

If you’re in the mood for a delectable treat, make sure to visit Arizmendi. Their mouthwatering selection is a testament to their expertise in pastry making. Although I can’t personally vouch for their coffee, I can assure you that their pastries are a must-try. One of the best bakeries I've been to in a long time! Walked out with a bag full of a variety of offerings... blueberry scones, corn dried cherry scone, shortbread cookies, GF zucchini ginger muffin...mic drop. Too much to put into this review. Just go get a bag and share with friends.
Cheese pizza....buttery, crispy, crunchy... crazy good.
Pizza slice of the day...same but with carrotrs, zucchini, roasted peanuts....delish!
I could go on but you get the jist. Hit them up for sure if you're in San Rafael. They won't disappoint!! Almost forgot the avocado toast... their sourdough is insanely good!!

We had x-roll, strawberry scone and cinnamon roll. Just remember that their cinnamon roll has raisins in them which my kid prefers not to.
Their special Pride Rainbow cookies are really fancy and spectacular looking. Must have it while it is offered for a short period time.
Several tables and a couple of sofas to sit are available inside.
Many customers come to pick up phone ordered pizzas for dinner at 4 pm.
Great casual bakery with many collection of artisan breads & loaves, scones, muffins, rolls and special cookies.

Awesome bakery wish a wonderful amount of variation of goods on offer. I love the scone of the day flavors and bread flavors. Don't forget to check out the pizza flavor they have that day, they are fantastic. My go to is the Vintage which is great value for a decent sized breakfast sandwich.

Excellent stuff, and worker owned! Scones were as good as advertised on all the other reviews here. Avocado toast was a bargain and the breakfast sandwich of the week was delicious, though too big and messy really to eat on the go/in the car. Sit down and grab a fork and knife.

Ordered 10 of the bakers dozen cookie boxes for a corporate event every cookie was a major hit! we needed gluten free and vegan options in one place and Arizmendi was the only place close by that could accommodate our specific needs. if you havent tried this place you NEED TO cookies as big as your face and crunchy yet gooey pure perfection!

Arizmendi, along with Marla Bakery, is my almost daily go to bread place. Their vegan focaccia is other worldly and the same goes for their pizzas. Their hummus is probably one of the best I've ever tasted and I used to work in a bakery in Paris that specialized in middle eastern delicacies. It's about $4 for a small container which is less than the stuff at the supermarket but their quality is way better. Their "baguette pieces" which are dinner rolls are the best I've had locally and their brioche breakfast rolls are worth going to confession over. High marks for the sesame round loaves which go great with their hummus or with some gourmet butter and strawberry preserves. Excellent service and a happy atmosphere. Employee owned co-ops like this are a blessing to our community!

I went there last week they closed the business , sad that the city is losing such amazing shop ! I hope the reopen soon somewhere else .

*Drip coffee is fresh rich test like what premium coffee ☕ supposed to test ,delicious and smells good , just a small cup was enough to fix my mood :)

Heavenly Bakery. Delicious savory baked goods. The sweet stuff is delicious too. Come in for a Barista coffee pizza, coconut macaroons, and vintage breakfast sandwich. So good I have to hold myself back from eating there every day.

Excellent service, and friendly welcoming staff and quality baked goods. Loved their "Vintage Breakfast Sandwich" that I noticed on their menu. Tried it for the first time with their own baked wheat bun that came with a nice fluffy egg patty, provolone and cheddar cheese, panini style. It was so tasty and awesome every bite of it!!!!!! I gave 2 thumbs up to the manager/owner. It went well with a nice cup of coffee. Strongly recommend this bakery, their service and all their baked goods hands down. Not to forget their quality Vintage Sandwich with very reasonable pricing in this day and age.

Great baked goods and always a fun pizza of the day! Would recommend for a great morning pastry, bread, or small lunch. Super friendly staff as well!

Amazing bakery. My favorites are the classic BLT and the pumpkin praline muffin. I don’t usually opt for gluten free items but they have a lot of gf baked goods that you wouldn’t know were gluten free if they didn’t tell you!

Love the vibe, and the fact there are GF options. Reasonably priced for a bakery, and nice options like sourdough starter and pizza dough if you want to DIY dome amazing meals.

They make the best scones in Marin: crunchy on the outside and tender and buttery on the inside, flavored with seasonal fruits or the regular flavors, cherry-corn and classic current. All delicious! Great sourdough breads too!

Awesome place for baked goods and snacks. Yesterday we had the seasonal pizza, today soup and bread, followed by a pumpkin spice cookie. They've got caffeinated beverages and some prepackaged salads(not green). Sit in the sun, on 4th st and enjoy yourself. Don't ask for parking meter change, cause they won't give it!
