So we went on the busiest day... Valentine's!
The service was stellar! Bread water and details to attention was immaculate! We sat in the back room it was a flashback in time kept well! The kids had Shirley temples that were enormous! I loved our wine glasses...so adorable - Now the food quality was robust! Be hungry when you come because you will want it all. We did the Cesar salad/ shrimp L. Salad Mushroom Omelette/ spaghetti with meat sauce/ fettuccine and/ classic cheese burger - Bravo to the cooks for excellent dependable food that warm the heart and make our bellies full!

This is one of the venerable Joe's restaurants of the Bay area. Everything here is very old fashioned and very good. Strangely enough, they took the meat sandwiches off the menu during covid and never brought them back. What a shame. their roast beef sandwiches were among the very best around. But the burger is still amazing, one of the very best burgers anywhere they use an absolutely unbelievable grind of Chuck. So juicy it drips right out.

Was one of the few places open past 9pm. What a find! Great classic old Italian atmosphere. Everyone that works there appears to be a family that’s been there a long time. Great service. HUGE portions and it was all cooked and seasoned deliciously. I ordered the cheese omelet and it came with a side of fresh veggies and French fries. Friends ordered the club and could only make it through half. I will def be back!

Old-fashioned but in a good way. Nothing great about food, service, or atmosphere but, if you live in Marin, it’s your duty to visit at least once

Arrived at restaurant around 7pm, an hour waite due to full house, went in for a cocktail and conversation and watch the sports game until they called us for dinner. Excellent service and the food was so amazing delicious.

Huge portions, great food, friendly staff. What else could you want?

We had the prime rib (excellent, better than House of Prime Rib) and lasagna (also excellent, maybe on the sweet side). We went for the pesto sauce on the pasta, which was perhaps the best pesto I've ever had.

If you live in or are visiting the bay area, you definitely need this place on your bucket list. This place is a throwback to great food, great drinks, and great service. Expect a wait but come early and have a cocktail in the bar/lounge.

A classy joint, as they'd say. Time stops when you enter, in a good way. Professional staff you just don't see elsewhere. Really enjoyed it.

Love this place as I have been going for over 30 years. Yummy, worth the wait. Macaroni Napolitano with a Italian sausage cut up and lots of parmesan cheese. Ceasars salad, bacon cheese burger and more from a great grill.

What makes it great is the prices! I'm tired of a dinner for 2 with some wine being $200... at Marin Joes we were full, dinner and wine, closer to $125. I will definitely be going back often. Easy parking. Easy location. Old faahioned and fun decor. Nice staff...

This place... I live in Indonesia, I'm from California. There's a bar in Jakarta that is as old as the hills and twice as dusty and it's so cool... This place, Marin Joe's, is totally 100% that. Awesome 😎! And I wouldnt wanna be anywhere else 🤙🏼

It's been one of the best restaurants in Marin county for many many years! The cocktail waitress, Jules is very friendly and helpful.

The standard Joe's menu. I always have roast beef and ravioli. Sourdough bread, butter. What else do you need?

Great food and service! Everyone was very friendly, and the tiramisu is a must!
