Massage therapist for nice, soothing, decompression-Olivia oiled me up and applied nice consistent light/medium pressure. It was perfect for the day. Massage therapist for getting those rough spots out, with finesse and expertise with firmer pressure- Lewis! My back really needed both types of massage techniques. And I thank you both for your professionalism, passion for what you do, and techniques. Bethany is the lead esthetician (magician lol) she was kind and informative she designed a course of treatments and left me feeling confident in her abilities. All 3 great people, and great at what they do. Thanks Maja and the wonderful young gentleman that helped match me to the perfect team- you all are AMAZING! Just received an amazing massage from Louis today in the Terra Linda location. Respectful and he really listened to what I wanted in my massage. It was a firm in all the right places but went easy on the places where I asked him too. Also special shout out to TJ who helped my book this and several others! Stellar body work and great service!

Amazing experience from the front desk and the esthetician! I was visiting from out of state for Thanksgiving and saw this location across from our hotel (I have a membership back home). I called the day prior to book an opening I saw online and was hoping to use rewards points for an add on. We booked and then a few hours later I got a call and they had figured out a way for me to use rewards for my facial and current credits towards add ons and it was so above and beyond! The staff at home never even told me about the rewards points, let alone how to cash them in. Anyway, Bethany was amazing for my facial and even helped treat some embarrassing breakouts on my chest… it cleared up within days right before our trip to Maui. Long story long, this is a great location and you should treat yourself to it :)

I have really been enjoying massages from Felix. He is thorough and sensitive. I especially like the cupping technique for relieving built up tension.

I am enjoying and proud that I dedicate one day a month to full Self Care by getting a massage or a facial at Hand and Stone. It is cost effective being a member and I give a great tip in cash so it is budgeted and cost efficient for my budget. I feel so peaceful, relaxed, and stress free! Thank you so much!

The staff are helpful and have a good reminder of appointment system which I find hellpful.

TJ was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable! It was a serene environment from the moment I walked in. I had a massage from Felix which was exactly what I needed! He also debriefed with me after, which I really appreciated. Would highly recommend!

TJ and Bethany are literally the sweetest people that I have ever encountered here! Bethany was very honest and upfront about what my skin needed and I feel so safe and taken care of by her. TJ was so friendly and was very informative and helpful for all of my billing questions. I've been to Hand and Stone a few times before but I am more confident than I have ever been that this place will help my skin get to where I want it to be!

Bin was phenomenal massage therapist. The entire treatment felt wonderful, I felt lighter once I stood up (feeling lighter is always a great feeling). Tj at the front was very welcoming and knowledgeable about services offered. Extremely polite! I will be booking my next treatment real soon.

I've been a member of Hand & Stone for nearly two years now. I was looking for a massage studio that was reasonably priced but still safe and clean. I've experienced many wonderful massage therapists at the San Rafael location, but am currently seeing Roxanne about once a week to manage my back pain from performing a desk job, chronic injuries, and weight lifting. Roxanne is so gifted at what she does and truly a pleasure to see weekly. I highly recommend getting the deep tissue from her - she is amazing at this!!

The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They always want the best for their customers and keep me up to date on promotions, how to use my points, etc. There's promotions several times a year where you can buy gift cards for yourself and for friends, and they always help me stock up on these.

I've received a few facials here from Tyler and Bethany - they are both fantastic at what they do and also so sweet. They've made some wonderful recommendations to me for enhancements during the facials and products to try at home, and they have made a huge difference in the appearance and feeling of my skin! I've learned so much from them and look forward to my future treatments.

The membership is a GREAT deal! $99 a month for either a 50 minute massage or facial, and you can roll over the credits or gift them to a friend if you aren't planning on using them. Always buy the gift cards from the sale as I recommended as well. They normally result in getting a treatment for $60-$65 on average - which is a great deal!!

I always have an amazing experience at this Hand & stone location. It is made tremendously better by the receptionist TJ. He is professional, knowledgeable of the services, patient when adding upgrades, & very kind. Overall all the massage therapist are amazing they only hire the best! And also great facials!! If you are ever looking for a great place to relax, I highly recommend this spa. The entire experience was amazing from the beginning. I got the best customer service from Malayah who was extremely kind and patient with me. I had several questions about booking future appointments, prices, and differences of service but she went above and beyond to explain all of this. Am looking forward to bringing my friends here for our next girls day

I had my first massage here yesterday and was happy with everything. It's clean and pleasant. The front desk person was very nice and funny. Christian, the massage therapist, listened and did exactly what I asked him to do. My hair was a mess when I left, but my neck and shoulders felt so much better.

A perfectly Mother’s Day gift from my husband! Justin was my esthetician , very knowledge and kind. He was able to tell me my trouble spots for my skin and recommend products to help with my combo skin type. Great service all around!

There were 2 very soft spoken and competent people greeting people as I walked in. it felt like private, personal attention. The woman who helped me was very quick to respond, get my signatures on things, offer water and she was very kind and, as I say, competent in her job. My masseuse was excellent. I am enjoying the impact of his massage today. I was v tight in R shoulder and arm and back. He knew what to do to help me. He was friendly, but quiet most of the time. He engaged me in the process of the massage and urged me to speak up if pressure too hard. I had a v positive experience of the spa last pm.

Once in a while I get to treat myself ! I love my time at this spa! Starting with TJ at the front desk ( very warm ❤ professional and helpful) that meets all my needs every time, to Tania’s wonderful massage and last but not least … the ultimate facial care with my favored esthetician Taan!!!!

I was visiting from out of state. They were able to get my husband and I in within 2 days and the service was amazing. I appreciate how my masseuse, Christian, asked my preference about things that I’m normally not asked about. The place is clean and the staff is very inviting. I definitely enjoyed the service.

I have a membership and look forward to my monthly facial. It's my favorite hour of every month. Bethany is amazing and her facials are magical. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. The waiting area is comfortable and very zen.
