The UPS Store

I made a mistake of not thoroughly reading return item instruction by e-commerce but the staff here took the item and packaged it for me to be returned properly.
I appreciate the staff who took charge if things go beyond of what was required to do.
I’ll definitely support this particular UPS store. And a large parking lot with an easy access to the store always put me to an ease compared to some other UPS stores impossible to get to or the traffic congestion is absolutely insane especially the ones in San Rafael.

Very well run establishment, Sarah was especially helpful fulfilling all my shipping needs. They've really turned that place around. Marin needs more stores like this!

Always fast and they handle amazon returns quickly

Called during a busy time, lunch - but they answered and were pleasant. Unfortunately, the person who answered wasn't well trained and didn't even know that UPS provides specific bicycle boxes for shipping. Two other stores did however, one telling me they were out of stock, the other saying yes they would set one aside for me to pick up. More training for this locations staff is needed. She didn't know, but should have at least checked with another employee or online when I explained that yes there are specific bicycle boxes for shipping.

This store is very pretty decent and Is in need of lots of improvements the employees here are nice and there’s some that just don’t care and not helpful I tried to ship a package with an employee who was a black gentlemen I can fully remember his name but it was something like was karry or Korey or something and I asked him I needed to ship something and he said one second and he went to the back and then another employee he sent out came to help me and I was shocked on why he did that not even the manager was there and the other employee who was just a kid and also very respectful helpful young black gentleman helped me out very well I forgot his name but he attends redwood and I must say he is very mature for his age he helped me with my order and shipped it out and it got there on time and he was only 17 and gosh I wish I can remember his name but he is a blessed kid and very responsible who ever raised him I hope he goes some where in life because I had a nice chat with him and after I left I thanked him and he was just very nice I can’t thank him enough, I walked out of that store saying God how could such a young man have more responsibility then the other employee I hope he goes well and the owner needs to hire more people like him and get him a raise!

The reason i’m giving a lower rating is the charge and terrible explanation for a “computer use fee”. I just needed to print 2 black and white pages. There us a sign that says “computer use fee is $2.50” instead I proposed I email them the document from my phone. I was them told by a staff member that it didn’t matter and the charge would still apply. So I am charged for the UPS employee using their own computer? The answer they told me, is yes. So I was charged $2.75 to print out 2 pages. Fedex provides a better, more affordable service. If you need to print less than 10 pages, this is not a good place to do it.

Nickel and dime artists: they found a way to charge me $2.50 for a prepaid shipment. Slow too ... but cuddly nonetheless.

Sent a Christmas package to my parents on the Navajo Reservation thought we sent it earlier enough on Dec 14th. Check on it, it said through was an error with the address. I've delivered there before so I don't understand why they didn't deliver it. I called and they said they can't find the address and it could be picked up at a upstairs facility. For my elderly parents to drive an hour out was disappointing. When they went to pick it up it they said it got sent back to Greenbrae. My boyfriend was beyond furious with the situation when he talked to the ups manager at the Greenbrae ups. The manager threatened to throw away the package if my boyfriend didn't calm down. This is something common with mail on the reservation. I thought it got better recently because I got mail on the reservation before. My boyfriend doesn't accept this at all, I'm not sure what to say but feels like reservation people get discriminated against because drivers don't wanna drive out there I would appreciate an upfront no we can't deliver there than waste 50 dollars and time.

I was there in December to send a prepaid package back for a return. After 14 days the company said they never received the package (my loss, of course), and the post office never scanned the package. That tells me the package never left the UPS store, which of course they can easily deny. This UPS store tends to take packages and not adhere the labels right away but wait until later, which I thought was odd. The employees there are not very friendly and one in particular is just downright rude. I will never go back there again and anyone else should think twice before going there.

Dropped off an item purchased on Amazon recently for return/refund. The shipping label was created as indicated on the UPS website if I follow the tracking number but the package was never picked up. The UPS Store employee and manager referred me back to Amazon, insisting that it wasn't the store's problem. They clearly don't understand or accept how UPS works.

The store opens at 9am. It’s 915am and no employees are here.

👹 The Big Black Hole of Mail 👹 Mail and packages get “lost” or simply never show up where they should. These people withheld my mail for 90 days while they told me I had none. I threatened to SUE THEM.
Only then did they send me THREE POUNDS OF MY MAIL. Can you imagine?!?
Avoid this store at all costs.
