Il Fornaio

We've been coming here for years and it has never disappointed. I usually get the Lasagna but this time the salmon just sounded better, it was just better than ever. The wife had the Lasagna and said it was the best. We've had a number of their dishes and I have yet to have one disappoint. I always appreciate their service, it's spot on, always friendly and makes for an enjoyable evening. Their bread is the best as well. We'll keep coming here for sure. The parking is a bit tricky because there are a number of things to do in this area so don't worry about not being able to park close.

I had a great time there with my family. Ordered lemony sauce raviolis and an arugula beet salad. Everything tasted great. The lemony sauce with the salad was flavorful. It wasn't too much, and it was filling. I wasn't really hungry, but I felt like sharing the food and eating the rest. Delicious, it was! I hope to come back to try something different next time. I love Italian food, and the food here looked great!

My friend and I adored the Italian take on Eggs Benedict. The sauce was lighter than a traditional hollandaise, but equally as tasty. Instead of English muffins they used a sturdy bread that was tasty, easy to cut and a rich buttery compliment to the perfectly poached eggs. I looked on the online menu but did not see the Eggs Benedict so I can't tell you the kind of ham that was used, but it was more flavorful than that used in the American version of the dish. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the wait staff is lackluster. Someone at Il Fornaio makes a very good cappuccino.

We came in late but never felt rushed by Javier. He made excellent wine suggestions to pair with out appetizers and meals. The plate presentation was gorgeous and seasoned to perfection. Bravo to the guys in the kitchen and chef. Don’t fill up on the delicious bread they give you! It’s so good!

I just had a date here for my birthday and it was a perfect experience. The ambiance is very nice and it wasn't too loud for conversations. I ordered the chicken pesto with sundried tomato and it was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and a fun, happy-go-lucky guy with perfect pronunciation of the Italian entrees. I highly recommend this place if you want to impress your girlfriend. 😉

Great food. Elegant atmosphere. A bit pricey but in line with any local upscale Italian restaurant.
June 2022: Returned with 2 friends and enjoyed salmon, linguini, ice cream, great bread, good coffee and a chocolate dessert. Tasty! $65/pp

A top class Italian restaurant located on the upper edge of the picturesque Corte Madera Town Center. Certainly no issues with parking! Great service, great food, great atmosphere, expensive of course though not unexpected.

Great every time we go in. Of course get a reservation for peek times but most all others are fine

We had a great lunch today, could have went elsewhere but I am glad we decided this place the food was very fine and the service was perfectly timed can't say anything other then thank you see you again soon

Good food, fair value and excellent service. One of the better restaurants we've been to in USA.

Surprisingly excellent Thanksgiving dinner with moist turkey, delicious stuffing with wild mushrooms, wonderfully prepared vegetables and a light and yummy pumpkin pie.

Food is very good and excellent service. Better than Burlingame sister restaurant. Like location and convenient to nearby stores.

I had the chicken caprese salad and my friend had the Bolognese.Two craft wines to compliment a wonderful meal🥰

A lazy Monday afternoon lunch. Excellent risotto with chicken and mushrooms. I had very nice glass of Moscato. Stop is very attentive and friendly.

We had a large party. The food, service and atmosphere were PERFECT! Miguel took amazing care of us. All of this is the reason we have been going for over 30 years! GO! Enjoy!

I actually really like this place.
The food is satisfying and tastes very good.
The service is quick. The place is elegant looking, without being pretentious.
It is spacious and yet cozy at the same time.
My favourite detail: they get the crumbs off the table before you are served dessert.
I have never been disappointed there, and by the way eating outside is quite comfortable as well, and feels a bit exotic.
It reminds me of places I have eaten in the tropics. Not bad, when it is only Marin and in the middle of winter.
I definitely recommend Il Fornaio Corte Madera.

Beautiful restaurant and very friendly staff

Excellent service and tasty food. Price is reasonable based on the quality of the service and the food. I have been here several times for the last 10 years. It's always my favorite in this area.
