Kim Wallace has created an environment at MBS Precision Pilates that is uniquely conducive to learning not only the mechanics of movement, but the techniques of teaching as well. MBS Precision Pilates offers students the opportunity to learn in a supportive and positive environment.

I have been training under Kim for a few months now and could not be happier. I have another job, and her program is extremely flexible. She is kind, understanding, and patient. She also is a wealth of information. She works one on one with me to perfect my form, and explains how the exercise benefits me and what muscles I am using. She also goes over what possible injuries / conditions people may have and when an exercise would benefit or harm them. She teaches breathing and verbal cues at a pace that is not overwhelming also, and consistently encourages me. If you are looking to get certified in Pilates, look no further. I've experienced several different Pilates studios over the years. MBS is unequivocally as good as it gets!!

I am new to pilates and was looking for one on one instruction but did not want to go to a big gym. I found Kim an MBS Precision Pilates and Wellness. I have had a very good experience and enjoy my workouts. They are always varied and keep me engaged. I have also participated in a small group class. So much better thatn the big groups cleasses at other locations. You get real instruction and modifications when needed. HIghly recommended!

Despite all the photos on her website, she also is adept at training MALES (as I am--an older one). I only spend summers in Carlsbad, so look forward to working with her then. BUT, I inadvertently found that during this pandemic she is doing pilates training by computer (I do Zoom, but she tells me she also is "conversant" in Facetime, Skype and Facebook.) I think she is truly a genius in the way she adapted her in-studio training to working from our homes. My workouts have been intense, and satisfying, and good for my wellness, and hopefully my immune system. She is also a wonderful human being to work with. My highest recommendation.
