My favorite taco place in San Diego. This place is my go to every time I visit SD. They make fresh tortilla and the meat is really good. My only problem sometimes is that some staff doesn't speak that much English but I guess that's how you'll know it's authentic. They also have drive thru. Love it!

Some places are over-hyped. Not this place. Get the adobada tacos, it's what they're known for, and they are the best I've ever had. The meats seasoning is second to none and they cut it right off the rotisserie into the taco in front of you. The salsa that comes on it is amazing.

This place is fantastic. I like the Al Pastor best. Get a couple of those and Pineapple Bang! and you have a great meal. Price is best on the tacos. Also a yummy cheese quesadilla but value not as great, there. We visit every time we're in town visiting my parents.

Been coming here for several years now, and they are definitely some of the best tacos in San Diego County. The lengua tacos are one of my favorites, and you can't go wrong with the adobada. Place can get really busy so be patient.

LOVE!! My brother and I go here at least once a week after his classes. The quality is SO good, and service is quick and efficient. Personally, I do not like pork in most cases but their Adobada tacos are amazing. A must to check out when in Escondido, for sure!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - we ordered 4 tacos of cabeza (beef head), tripa (listed as beef tripe but it’s actually intestines rather than stomach), and buche (pork stomach). The cabeza came with green salsa and had a surprisin kick. The other two came with red salsa and the tripa was fried well and crispy. Absolutely delicious!

Ambience: 5/5 - little shop with 3 “lines” you stand in depending on what meat or items you want. Clean overall and while there are plenty of seats, there’s so many people there that there might not be any empty ones!

Service: 5/5 - slight challenges communicating but we were able to order and get everything we wanted.

Value for price: 5/5 - great food! Reminds us a bit of Tacos El Gordo set-up but better food, more competitive pricing, and better service

First time there. Had a large order. There are separate lines for certain food items. I looked like the most confused gringo they had seen in a while. Fortunately, they helped me out. The food is ridiculously good! I'm looking forward to coming back.

Best tacos I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. Absolutely sets the standard for tacos going forward. Freshly made tortillas, adobada off the rotisserie, generous portions. This is our only taco spot we venture out for.

Must try the red meat its called adobada, its alpastor so tastier than the other meats. Must go again if i visit the area again. Gracias me encanto la adobada.

Hands down the best tacos in north county.

Really nice taco, drove 30 min for this. Well worth the drive. We had to get to go because of covid times. My only suggestion is I wish the salsa was hotter or offer a spicy salsas, other then that outstanding!! Make sure ask for grilled onion and pepper. Is the perfect combination of sweet and slightly spicy. My favorite was the marinated pork 😋

I have tried it all, but stick with carne asada. I've tried the burritos, quesadillas, fries etc. but usually get tacos! I loved the grilled onions. I go back and forth from getting all the toppings or just simply meat with salt and lime.

Super simple set up. Great serving sizes. Legit flavors and super satisfying. So glad we were craving tacos.

I highly recommend the Cabeza and Adobada.

Stopped in on a Thursday night for some street tacos. Excellent food. The service was great, our hostess was awesome and she gave us the best discount imaginable.

Really really good tacos. The cabeza, tripe, carne asada, lengua 😛 incredibly delicious! Each taco ~$3 each and the hot sauce was incredible. Definitely a top taco spot in San Diego !

Adobado tacos are a MUST!!! It's definitely worth going.

This place is so delicious and authentic Mexican taco! They have authentic tacos 🌮 you may not find at the local tacoshop, suadero, buche, cabeza, tripas 😋 Yum!

I live and San Antonio now and coming back to visit was a reminder how much better the food is in California! My nephew took me here and it was my first time. Everything was good and it was fresh and hot!

This place is legit. I bought twice as many tacos as needed, thinking they were the typical small ones. These were substantial and so good. Fast service too!

This place is busy, rightfully so. Mulitas and tacos were delicious! You can ask for grilled onion and jalapeños on the side. So yummy. They have good options for meat. Buche, cabeza,tripa, suadero, asada , chorizo/nopales and adobada. I had asada , chorizo and adobada. You can ask for grilled onions and jalapeño on the side. They don’t have a salsa bar so if you like your tacos spicy, make sure you tell them to add more to your tacos. Oh and it’s super affordable.
