Peterson's Donut Corner

Fun donut spot with tons of choices and novel options! They have a decent seating area outside but it is right on the corner of a busy intersection. It was slightly tricky to enter the parking lot but there were plenty of parking spots. We came on a random weekday evening.

They have all the donuts on display through the window and huge menus posted outside. The donuts are huge too! We are not big donut fans but this place was an experience worth visiting!

Haven’t been here for years and was pleased to know they are still serving delicious donuts. I uploaded there current menu pamphlet & of course a picture of the donuts my husband purchased. My favorite out of the box was the “Blueberry frosting!” So yummy 🤤!

Being a connoisseur of donuts I can tell you right now you definitely need to visit Peterson’s Donuts. They’re open 24 hours a day. We stopped by to get two dozen donuts on your way home at midnight. EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful. The donuts are delicious and they are very generous with the icing as you can see. The three chocolate in the box were mine to eat right away. I had two down before I got back to the car. 🫣 It’s like a little slice of heaven!! Enjoy! 🍩😋

Oh Petersons, you always make me smile. your Texas size donuts are AMAZING!! This time I got your cinnamon roll that almost the size of my head. And the fact that I got to share your delicious treats with my family I'm happy to say they where also super impressed with the friendly service and selection that you offer. We also go a cronut, and this delicious blueberry roller. So good!!! Well I hope you had a Merry Christmas. See ya next year.

didn’t get any photos of my donuts but the butter bar is insane on top of how much i loved the general vibe of the shoppe. it was great to see a fresh selection cover the facade corner to corner and how busy it stays without having a line. can’t wait to come back and travel with them back to the big apple

Heard of Peterson’s for sometime now and finally in the neighborhood. There are so many varieties that one will have to come multiple times to try them all. All the cake donuts we got are moist. My flavor is the strawberry cake.

Bring cash. There is a small fee to use the debit card to pay for the donuts.

It is great that it opens 24 hours. However, mornings must have more varieties than 3PM. I will have to go back in the morning to get some cream puff and donut holes.

They no longer charge to use your debit cards!!! Yayyy!!! Thank you Petersons! This was a much needed upgrade! Charging for debit and then having to do a cash payout for so many years was a major deterrent to coming here as I hardly ever have cash on me.

It’s been 11 years since we’ve been to Peterson’s and they so happy to see the menu has so many amazing options. After talking with Monique…the donut Fairy….we decided to try the pillows. We got the Maple Bacon pillow, Chocolate Ganache w/ sprinkles pillow, Oreo, and M&M donuts. Monique was so sweet and even gave us a sample Macaroon to try. We will definitely be back to try more pillows, donuts, muffins, and macaroons.

we waited mabey 10 minutes they didnt have alot as they where baking more we got a good selection for a decent price for 6 donuts about 12$ give er take tottally worth it

What an experience! Such a neat place and superb donuts. They are a cake like style which gives them the old fashioned taste. Peterson's is usually on the short list of the best donuts in southern California for a reason. So its worth a visit. They are open 24 hours too!

Oh my gosh! Ever since I was a little kid my dad always went to this donut shop when he went to San Diego. He went last night and brought home some of my favorite donuts. The quality is amazing and the taste is even better. They've been making the same amazing donuts for years. I completely recommend this place!

I don’t have a lot to say about this place. Best donuts I’ve had in my entire life. Great price for how huge the donuts are, and most of the time they are still warm since they are made same-day.
Highly recommend the buttermilk bar and apple fritter!

Slightly expensive but worth it if you visit her once in awhile.

The staff is very friendly.

However please make sure to educate all your employees on what has nuts and what does not. The employee put in a Nutella filled donut that I luckily was able to point out. But she did manage to put in one of the boxes a reeses puff topped donut. So that could have been disastrous if someone was not careful.

They are hands down the best in San Diego County. I have tried them all, and i won't say any names. We have good number of donut spots with good donuts. This is BEST of the BEST. They should be open 7 days a week and 24 hrs. OMG. Two THUMBS UP. 👍👍

Never seen anything like this! The biggest donuts I ever seen. Nothing like Dunkins! Krispy Kremes! Big donut double the sizes!...

Amazing donuts! My son and I made a special trip to try these donuts and it was well worth the drive. My favorite was the butter log and my son loved the chocolate zebra. He also got a ham and cheese croissant which was delicious!

The organization, and how you order is so efficient. You go up to one of the windows they have the menu posted outside on their walls they have to go menus next to the windows, so grab a menu choose which ones you’d like and once you’re ready, go up to the window and everything is served to you very quickly and so fresh.tasty donuts!

Best Donuts in Town!! Been going here for years. It’s open 24hrs. Donuts are huge and taste so good! Staff is very Friendly. If you are ever in Escondido. Stop at Peterson’s! Best Cherry fritter 😋😋😋
