Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

My review is for the spa, which I’ve visited three times over the years. I recently visited and had a pedicure by Leanne, which was an amazing experience. She was calm and peaceful and my toes and feet were so well taken care of. The staff that checked me in and out were friendly and quick. I took a dip in the jacuzzi and the wet sauna. The facilities are clean and beautiful. I love this space and will return.

I love staying at this resort. Though my visits are for business, it’s still a pleasurable experience. ❤ My favorite thing is the Service. Every single team member Ivan encountered in my 8+ visits to this beautiful property has been extraordinary. I’m the kind of person who starts conversations and each person I’ve spoken to has worked at this property for at least 10 years. That says a lot.

This beautiful resort has recently undergone a complete renovation on their guestrooms. Everything is pristine and clean, brand, new, and modern. There are many floorplans and amenities to choose from, the spa is divine and you can’t go wrong at any of the restaurants on the property.

Plus… It is truly beautiful !

Going to San Diego in the rain was not ideal BUT staying at Omni La Costa was like stepping into a dream – the staff, especially the valet (they deserve 15 raises, they were so amazing) , made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. The room (it was a villa) was so cute and the fireplace sent me over the edge of happiness. Traveling alone as a female I always like to rate things differently so see below.
Room cleanliness: 10/10

Housekeeping - 10/10 - daily service and they did a great job! They even restocked my coffee bar without me asking!

Safe: 8/10 - the area is a great area and the resort is gated. The rooms however only have one lock which kind of made me feel a little weird. Also the portable dead bolts won’t fit these doors, luckily I travel with back up options like the super loud door opening alarm.

Hygiene products - 9/10 they had this brand called nest. It smelled fantastic and wasn’t terrible on my hair.

Walkability to lobby - 3/10 some rooms maybe would have a higher score but my room was not close to the lobby at all and the resort is sprawled out.

Quiet: 10/10 🎧 really I wish I could replicate how quiet these rooms were at every hotel I go too.

Stayed here for a pre-valentines day vacation. Everyone here is so friendly. We had a heating issue in our original room, sent maintenance down immediately to look at it, but it wouldn't be fixed for a while, so they helped transfer us to a new room with working heating as we didn't want to shower and get ready in a freezing bathroom and it was nice and toasty during the 40s degree temps at night. They sent someone over with new room keys and helped move our luggage. The guy who helped us remembered me and told his coworker that he helped move rooms for us. Food is good as well. We will stay here again 10/10

The Omni La Costa Resort is a beautiful and classic golf resort in the valley north of San Diego. The amenities are very nice and the service is outstanding. The Marketplace is a unique small shop that has a changing menu during the day for everything from breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The grounds are well-kept, but the facilities are beginning to get a bit old. The pools were closed for renovation and the guest rooms are nice, but in need of some repair.

This was my first, but hopefully not my last stay at the resort. I was at the resort for business and stayed 4 nights. I arrived around 7pm on a Sunday. The valet and check-in experience was smooth. My room was very clean and the temperature was perfect. Finding a soaking tub in the huge bathroom was a great bonus. The only complaint I have is regarding a slight odor in the shower. I think it was coming up from the drain, not from the water. Room service was easy, prompt and the food was hot. The coffee at Marketplace was delicious and there was a good variety of non-alcoholic beverages. I want to give a shout out to the bell stand and the valet. Their hustle, friendliness and unwavering devotion to customer service, made my visit even more pleasant. I will definitely go back!

Love, love, love this place. Staying here is wonderful and the restaurants are wonderful. The spa is top tier for all they offer. The massages, facials and spa products are on point! I will consistently return and will tell my friends.

This place has a "zen" feel! Very relaxing atmosphere, well manicured grounds, and expansive views over looking the rolling hills in the background. The food was great! And the service was top notch. Although the rooms were somewhat updated, I found some of the finishes still seemed dated.
The golf course also was top notch.

The staff goes above and beyond what is the norm.. I had a great experience with our banquet captain Christine.. she handled our bars with poise, class and grace! We will be back!

Shantel was quite helpful in making our stay right today through Sunday! She spoke to my wife with much professionalism and offered a nice (with upgrade fee) to villa

We were invited for dinner and thought this place was wonderful. The setting was beautiful by day and magical at night. Food was excellent and service top class.

Great resort, all staff was very attentive and helpful. Pools were great dining options were top notch!

Not a beach property but if you like golf, beautiful views - this hotel is for you. Large gym, many restaurants and spacious rooms.

Just went to hang out at the bar and sit on the patio. But what an amazing property. The bartender was very kind and gave excellent service and the views of the surrounding canyon/hillside are amazing.

Great drinks and service. They brought a birthday brownie with ice cream because they saw it was a birthday! Nice!

Enjoyed Bob's Steak house for a New Years meal.

I have been to the spa a few times now and it is always a great experience! The pool is relaxing, the services are always great, and the lunch and leisure package is so worth it!

This place is a must in SoCal. All the article writers have it right. Amazing place for relaxation. Best massages by wonderful masseuses. Easy to access resort, helpful sweet staff. Its own little village of magic.

Amazing Spa experience and the botanicials are so awesome on the property. staff us always friendly.

I only stayed here as a conference attendee so I didn't get to take full advantage of all the amenities offered, but it was a fantastic resort. The rooms were bigger than my entire home (which admittedly isn't very big, but still), the pools were beautiful,and the catered food was all delicious and fresh, right down to the last morsel. I would love to come back!
