Dr. Josh helped me to find the weak areas to strengthen to relieve pain from my knee. Then helped prepare me for surgery and rehab afterwards. Had a plan to help me recover in quick timely fashion and taught me exercises I can use everyday moving forward. Dr. Josh is the best! 🧱❌🧱

I came to see Drew with a hip injury which created some misbalances in my body. I was able to get off of pain meds in the first two weeks of treatment. I’ve seen a few people before him and now i can tell that this is the most skilled practitioners I know in this area. highly recommend

I don't think I can rate Bryan highly enough. Let me give you a flavor or what I've been going through, and the experience I've had with him.

For the last 10 years I've been struggling with a combination of neck and shoulder issues. It's long been suspected that I have a neck issue and a shoulder issue, or one-or-the other depending on the specialist. I've seen a dozen or so specialists. PT's, chiropractors, neurologists, imaging centers, acupuncturists...multiples of each and many more. While some observations have been made, none have figure out what's really going on...even with MRI's and x-rays.

The pain has been comingled and not easy to discern whether something specific is coming from the neck or the shoulder, with so many various possibilities and combinations of issues each specialist has been ultimately unable to diagnose the problem let along heal it.

In December I received stem cell therapy in Mexico, which was painful and causes a long recovery road, but necessitating PT. I set out to find someone who might have a little experience with Stem Cell PT but found Bryan because of his experience with a close cousin...post-PRP PT.

Here is the thing, the shoulder is super complex particularly when the neck is also injured and referring nerve pain toward the injured shoulder, which is why no one to this point could figure it out. But this dude is like Sherlock with a mind palace, he diagnoses the issues because he seems to just have a better, more complete, model in his mind of what's happening in the body.

He is able to see in an almost obvious way what's completely mystifying to others. The exercises he gives me seem to work instantaneously.

An example would be that he could see how my scapula wasn't/isn't moving the way it should and a bunch of compensations are resulting. I had a previous PT look at that specific problem for months and never figured out what Bryan could instantly see. One day after him noticing that issue and giving me a short training session, and today my shoulder is moving differently than is has in half a decade or more.

Anyway, I never write reviews but this dude inspired me to. He is a savant and I think you should see him if you have a complicated problem which you are struggling to understand and treat.

Their chiropractor Drew Vercellino is a whole body healer. His curiosity and desire to learn more about how best to naturally heal someone’s body and maintain the best health possible is rare to find.

I worked with Queene in a personal training capacity after I had my second child. I was looking to get back into strength training and I was interested in making some lifestyle changes. She not only got me to the strongest I've been, she also helped me get to the leanest I've been and I learned so much about nutrition along the way. She has really helped me lay a strong foundation for the sustainable lifestyle I was looking for.

I've worked with Queenie for over a year and she has made a huge difference in terms of my pain management and mobility. Before I was finally diagnosed with enthesitis psoriatic arthritis (PsA), I was in so much pain from tendonitis in almost all my tendons from wrists, elbows, fingers, plantar, and Achilles tendon. I was losing mobility due to the pain, swelling, and inflammation. Queenie helped relieve a lot of the pain and swelling through working on my connective tissues in all my problem areas. Once I started treatment for my PsA, Queenie's massage therapy helped me regain my mobility. I'm very happy to say that I'm on the road to recovery and currently am slowly but surely regaining the ability to run.
Queenie is very patient and focused on what she does. She would begin each session by first assessing how I am feeling from a musculoskeletal perspective since the last time I saw her and then we discuss what target areas we would work on during the session. She is very knowledgable about the musculoskeletal system.
I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Queene for her work as a massage therapist. I have worked with her for two years, she helps manage any tweaks and prevent injury. As a late-40s regular lifter, consistency is key and Queene helps me stay in the game. I also appreciate her ability to explain techniques and the impact to anatomy.

If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, helps guide you through your movements / posture/ stretches , PLUS is also great with pin pointing why you have aches and pains, Queene is your gal.

Queene is someone with so much passion for what she does, you can literally feel uplifted just being in her presence.

I have a hard time trusting anyone near my body, because some of the aches I have, but with her confidence and understanding she has guided me, help keep me grounded (breathe work) whilst loosening up tension, tightness or soreness in my body. She definitely gained my trust. I HAVE ZERO REGRETS!!!& I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

All I can say form personally experienced is WOW!! Those employed at Progressive Motion Physiotherapy really do know what they are doing. I have had the pleasure of working with and continue to work with Cory Low a current employee for PMP. Not only is his background in the field incredible extensive and impressive but the sheer passion, joy, and knowledge that comes from working with him in person speaks for itself. I walk away with a better understanding of my body and how to care for it. Not only does Cory take extremely great care of you and your body he makes you feel understood and heard. His practice is incredible authentic and I couldn’t imagine working with any other PT. After each session my body feel better then it ever has and it stays that way. Now I know sometimes the instant gratification is there but somehow we end up back at the doctors NOT IN THIS CASE!! Cory Low is very genuine in his practice and his end goal is to share knowledge with you in hard to better care for your body so that you won’t have to see him again. Unless you really want too! In my case, I just love how my body feels after working with him and I always walk again gaining new knowledge over my body and it’s functionality!

Cory Low is a 10/10 and you would be in the care of one of the best!

Wow, I injured my shoulder using a very heavy slam ball. After trying to ignore it for several months I was hurting so bad that I went to a sports medicine doctor who did an MRI to make sure it wasn't torn (it wasn't). He recommended a therapist to try to strengthen the tissues and rehab the shoulder, and Joey came highly recommended by an Olympic lifter friend of mine I trust. I made an appointment to see him and during our first session he did a very complete assessment and got my history noted.

Then the treatments started. Don't be fooled, he works you hard, but not in a zone that causes pain. He has an incredible amount of education and experience and he explained exactly what the goal of the sessions were, and where my muscles were compensating for lack of stability in the joint. He assigns "homework" so this isn't a "drop in for a massage" kind of thing - you're expected to work, and he's going to make sure you're safe and heading in the right direction with good form.

His facility is clean, well lit, professional, and he has all the latest equipment to make a clear diagnosis. He's constantly going to advanced educational classes himself and evaluating all the current thinking in the field, and if something isn't working, he has the ability to adjust quickly to get you back on track. He also helped me realize that sitting at work for hours on end was slowly killing me. I put in a standing desk after a recommendation from him and changed my workstation accordingly and it's been life changing.

I'm happy to say that after a few months with Joey, my shoulder was good as new and I was pressing my four-year-old overhead and out of a swimming pool for hours on end with no pain.

Joey has an engaging and friendly personality, coupled with an infectious enthusiasm for helping people be their best. If you're an athlete (or just fancy yourself one like me), and need first class PT, you can't go wrong choosing him.

I have been working with Cory for some time now. His attention to detail and knowledge about the musculoskeletal system has fixed my hip and lower back issues that I have been dealing with for a long time. Cory also has a deep background in sports which is great when it comes to learning sport specific exercises that have helped improve my vertical jump and performance on the basketball court.

I would recommend Cory to anyone who is dealing with hip, and/or lower back issues, or is interested in sport performance training/Physical Therapy.

I really enjoyed my experience working with Dr. Roneil (Ro) Urbino!

I'm relatively new to lifting weights, and wanted to address lower back pain and improve mobility to prevent future injuries. Ro listened intently to my goals and concerns and, after carefully assessing my body, recommended exercises and stretches that could help me alleviate my pain and more effectively warm up for weightlifting. He did an excellent job explaining how to do the exercises, how they engage my body, and how I can use different (everyday) objects so I can successfully do them at home or at the gym. He also emailed me my treatment plan, which included videos of my exercises for me to review when needed.

On one of my sessions, he noticed how tight my muscles were and asked if I would be interested in more manual work to help loosen them. I really appreciated the massage therapy, stretches, cupping, and scraping to increase blood flow and loosen up my muscles--it felt great and I felt ready for my next workout! Throughout our sessions, I especially appreciated how Ro prioritized the significance of breath work to better engage my core, go deeper in my stretches, and incorporate in my workouts to prevent future injuries. After three sessions with Ro and warming up with the exercises he suggested, I've already noticed a marked improvement in my mobility and workouts and feel much more confident in my weightlifting!

Lastly, I valued how Ro was interested in getting to know me as a whole person throughout our sessions and building rapport instead of only focusing on what appeared to be wrong. Not only did I feel like he genuinely cared about me as a client/person, I also believe this helped Ro better understand what might be contributing to my pain and allowed him to make more appropriate recommendations for treatment. He also asked for permission/consent every time he touched or moved my body, which made me feel comfortable and safe throughout our work together.

I highly recommend Ro and the team at Progressive Motion!

I worked with Joey after I got a stress fracture in my foot from running cross country. It was crucial that I receive effective treatment as soon as possible so I would be able to compete in 6 weeks with my team. Joey not only helped heal the fracture and keep me in shape in a very short time but was able to teach me all about the body and many different preventative measures I could take in the future. I began to teach my teammates about a lot of the things I learned from my sessions with Joey and from that we were able to reduce injuries and improve running form.

Joey also was very easy to work with. He is a sociable guy and is always very accommodating. I highly recommend working with him.

The past 5 years I have been dealing with shoulder mobility issues, which became more apparent when performing overhead movements during my day to day activities and/or during workouts at the gym. The pain was bearable, but I knew I had to address it now before it became a real issue, especially as I get older. So I looked to Joey at PMPT for professional advice and guidance. I was confident that Joey would be able to address my shoulder mobility issues after taking one of his free online classes, because I instantly felt and saw the results after the 30min session. Granted, the exercises did not make my shoulder mobility issues go away, but it did help me recognize and appreciate the potential benefits of Joey's teachings and programs. As a result, I have been scheduling virtual sessions with Joey now for the past 2 months, and I have seen a significant improvement in my shoulders' range of motion. This was accomplished through the prescribed exercises that helped me focus on two things: 1. Creating more joint space, which seems to be providing the most benefit 2. Re-training my brain to engage the proper muscle groups for better controlled articulate rotation at the shoulder and more importantly for keeping my core and body stable in all my exercises. Now I feel more confident in being able to sustain my shoulder mobility and strengthen the muscles groups that were neglected prior to joining PMPT. I definitely will continue with PMPT because I strongly believe that I can improve other areas of my body to help attain my life long goal/plan of staying happy, healthy, and mobile.

Joey is a superb physical therapist and a stellar human being. I worked with him for about 4 weeks after having a minor surgery on both knees in April 2017. I had plica tissue removed. Just one week after the procedure, Joey helped me start getting my full range of motion back. I still text him with questions about proper exercise form, and he always responds. He took a lot of time to fully understand my injury, as well as my recovery goals, and worked to develop a program in a short amount of time that helped me get back to both lifting and soccer. He also helped me find a new PT when I went back to school in Chicago. Happy to say that I'm knee pain free, and it's largely because Joey helped me out so early on. If you need a PT, go see him, you won't regret it.

After my son had knee surgery in August of 2016 he saw two physical therapists that were in his insurance network, but was unfortunately not having good results with either one of them. So he went on Yelp and found Joey. Because he was highly rated, we decided to use his services even though he does not take insurance. Once he began to work with my son, we found out why he has such high ratings! The passion/hard work Joey does outside of the practice to build his skill-set was obvious. Joey did such a great job rehabbing my sons knee, that I myself decided to see him for the back pain I have had for most of my adult life. I have seen medical doctors, chiropractors, and massage therapists to try and alleviate my back pain but it was never fully relived. I started to see Joey and he has made a huge difference in my life! In his approach, he treats the whole body, not just the area that is giving you pain. Through his therapy he focuses on creating better movement patterns and habits to help you be more independent and give you a better quality of life! It is clear to me that Joey has a true passion for his chosen profession! I highly recommend you see Joey if you need help with rehabilitation after surgery or would like to improve your physical wellbeing.

I am grateful to have worked with Amy Beylarian to re-strengthen my ankle and make sense of how the rest of my body reacted to the injury I had. I spent 6 months working with Amy and she was always listening closely to how my body responded and would adjust my program accordingly. Her knowledge and passion fueled my recovery and I’m happy to continue utilizing what I learned into my daily routine. I can confidently say I wouldn’t be back to living my normal life without her coaching!

Joey's professionalism and friendly nature is unmatched. I've been to several physical therapists for my ankle problems. The difference you'll get with Joey is that he is not only passionate about improving your heath but he is also the most caring person that you will meet. I felt very confident with his knowledge of my injury and he was very thorough with his answers to my questions. My ankle strength and mobility have drastically improved through my sessions with him. I can't recommend this guy enough. Thank you Dr. Joey Salgado!

In September 2021, I injured my lower back and was hard to get out of bed. I reached out to Dr. Joey Salgado at PMPT and, after diagnosing the problem, we were able to work on a detailed plan to unlock my lower back stiffness. The next few months were very tough, but rewarding. The biggest takeaway from my time working with Joey was learning and educating myself about my body so I have an arsenal of techniques and exercises to alleviate my discomfort. Joey is an all around great person to work with. You’ll be physically and mentally at ease knowing that he’s investing in you and your journey. He wants you to have autonomy over you health by giving you the tools and education so you don’t have to rely on him and continue to see him. I am in a better place, both physically and mentally, than before my injury and it’s all thanks to Joey and the PMPT team.
