Italico Ristorante Pizzeria

Italico restaurante is the more upscale sister restaurant of Terún. It is get crowded very fast and the service is prompt. The pizza that we ordered were deceivingly simple but delicious. I strongly recommend ordering Casio E Pepe to share. The Pollo Millanese was cooked just right (crunchy outside and soft inside). Furthermore, it has great selection of wine to choose, we ordered Bocca Della Verita Primitivo which was very good. We ended our dinner with chocolate gelato, strawberry Panna Cotta and espresso from cafe Vergnano brand.
Overall I enjoyed the total experience.

Great Italian food. We started with the pulpo appetizer -- I'm not normally a fan of octopus since I always assume it'll be chewy, but I was amazed at how tender and flavorful it was! For the entree, I got the Nduja pizza, with spicy spreadable salami and zucchini -- delicious, and that salami had a nice kick to it. Service was excellent, and there's a lot of pleasant outdoor dining (as well as a semi-enclosed terrace that is essentially outdoors). Good choice for a night out!

We have been at Italico 7 times since December 2023… yes, 7 times! This place has great food quality (from the appetizers to the desserts), amazing service (all staff is amazing: Ricky, Carlos, Jose and obviously the chefs and cooks), great managers (Antonio, Giovanni and Marcelino) and an outstanding atmosphere! We will continue coming back pretty much every month! This is our favorite spot in the Bay Area! If could give more than 5 stars I would!

Delicious and authentic meals with top notch ingredients and service. We felt at home! The weekly live music and the vibrant outdoor seating are added bonus. We tried three different pastas, a risotto and a few desserts and we loved it all. A great place for a dinner on your own or family style with your favorite people. Can't wait to visit again so we can explore more of the menu.

All the pastas and pizzas are just divine. Dessert is lovely too.

The foods are well prepared and authentic, the waiter and waitress are friendly and available all the time, the seating area is standard and comfortable, and the menu varieties are good.

Incredible service, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food. Couldn’t recommend Cacio e Pepe enough, made fresh at your table. We sampled four different desserts (one not pictured) and limoncello was my favorite, though all were very nice.

This place gets all the little details right to transport you back to a memory of traveling in Italy. Pizza dough was spot on, and they cook it to that slightly overdone perfection only available from a full sized pizza oven (we had the Margherita). Pasta was out of this world, delicately prepared and sauced (we had the special Tagliatelle). We didn't really get into much else, but they absolutely have the pizza and pasta down to the point my wife and I were considering which restaurant in Italy each dish reminded us of. Staff were friendly and attentive. Decor was continental/old world in all the right ways.

We are moving back to Palo Alto and are so excited to try our old haunts. Tonight is was Italico (sister restaurant to Terun). As expected, the restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing. We started with Frito Misto, warm spinach salad, and Brussels sprouts. All were phenom! For entrees, we had the minestrone, risotto and another spinach salad paired with a great Italian wine from the Veneto region. We finished with limoncello, donuts, panno cotta and tiramisu. So happy here! Great people run this restaurant and I hope you give it a chance. You will be happy you did!

Me and my husband went yesterday to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We both love pasta and are always in search for the best Raviolli. This is one of the best spinach ravioli that we had. It was perfectly cooked with a very tasty sauce and the best part is it was not too cheesy. Also, we tried trophie pasta which is a pesto pasta made vegetarian , something that was new for us and was also good. Had bombolini for dessert which consists of very soft and warm doughnuts filled with lemon custard and hazelnuts. Overall the ambience was nice and service was perfect. 😊

Walked in w/o a reservation to celebrate a birthday. Warmly greeted and accommodated. Spinach salad was delicious topped with homemade potato chips, creamy goat cheese and profuse amount of pancetta. The Capriccio pizza had great toppings of prociutto, artichokes, olives. Regretting became soggy while we ate. Portions are copious and each dish easily feed two. The bombilini donuts are DELICIOUS! Great atmosphere. Lively, but the tables were nicely pleased so conversation was not impacted. The wait staff was wonderful. I would only have liked tablecloths! That would have matched the quality of the food and service.

This is my first time visiting Itálico for my birthday! The food is excellent. The service was phenomenal and everyone absolutely delightful. Michael was so attentive and hospitable! He genuinely wanted to get to know my family and I, and was so sweet. Super profesional and kind to all. He made my family feel super welcomed and felt like a queen on my birthday! Our server was also Carlos was absolutely excellent and gave amazing service to us and everyone else!! He was so funny and always made sure we were all good. I recommend everyone try this restaurant! Possibly the most authentic Italian restaurant I've been to. We came here with my Italian family who were visiting and they felt right at home. We had several of the appetizers and pasta dishes. They were all delicious. The dried pepper appetizer was very unique.

Food was great. We can meet for a friend's birthday celebration. Pizzas are great! We would definitely come back here again.

There is something to be said about these Italians, they don’t have their good reputation for no reason. They are warm and welcoming. Their food is comforting and delicious, their wine pretty darn good. It’s a true Italian trattoria and it shows.

Great appetizers with generous portions to share. I got the swordfish from the specials menu and it was beautifully plated and everything was super fresh and well prepared. Loved it. I got the frozen mousse as dessert (forgot the actual menu name) and would highly recommend.

A great experience, especially with the covid-safe outdoor settings.
On Thursday nights there is live music, which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable.

Food:
The pizza is presently surprising, it has its own character and it is different from many. Mostly because the dough is quite unique and it has an earthy flavor (they use some special mix of different flours).
I also had the fried seafood, and they were also very good.

Wine:
There is an ample and good selection.
Try the sparkling rosé, it is dry and it goes perfectly with the fried seafood.

Atmosphere:
Joyful, welcoming, warm (even outside!).

Excellent pizza, even for south Italian standards.
I'll be back!

fabulous and very attentive service. very presentable and delicious food. you are very well taken care of and i would highly recommend if youre looking for fine dining
