Very friendly staff! I work near the area, and always have a great experience every time I go there. Gigi is absolutely fantastic! She was taking orders and doing the best she could before the other staff arrived. Recommend to anyone who wants excellent service and delicious bagels!

Bagels are fantastic. You can by their cream cheese as well and it is great! Staff is very nice. They have an outdoor sitting area (they have a speaker so you can hear your number being called but it is sometimes hard to hear). You can order at a tablet or in person which reduces lines.

Stepping into Izzy's, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bagels, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I had stumbled upon a gem in the heart of Palo Alto.

Each bagel boasted a perfect balance of chewiness and density, with a satisfying crust that gave way to a pillowy-soft interior. The variety of flavors offered, from classic sesame to inventive everything, ensured there was something to tantalize every palate.

But it wasn't just the bagels that impressed me; it was the dedication to quality and tradition evident in every aspect of the bakery. The staff's passion for their craft shone through in their meticulous attention to detail and friendly service, creating an atmosphere that felt like coming home.

Whether you're a longtime bagel aficionado or a newcomer to the world of kosher delights, Izzy's is a must-visit destination. Prepare to embark on a journey of taste and tradition that will leave you craving more with each visit.

No doubt the best bagel! We had the salmon bagel with multi grain bagel. Sooooo goooood. Amazingly crunchy outside and smooth inside. Great amount of salmon inside. No wonder it’s long line always. Nice outside seating area free for the public. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again. For one bagel is about $7.9 totally worth it.

We came to try bagels at this place, mostly because of good reviews. The place is truly nice: a small shop with cozy interior - a couple of tables, plenty of Brooklyn photos on the walls; outside a bunch of colorful chairs and tables with unbrellas.

There was a moderate queue in the shop, one can also order outside using screens.
We ordered two filled bagels (one with dried tomatoes spread, another - Pac-Man), paid around 14 usd. We were waiting for around 5-10 minutes for our order. By the way, there is other food in the shop - a lot of sweet pastry and even pizza.

The order came rather fast. Everything was packed in paper, no plastic, which I truly appreciated.

The bagels were fresh and tasty, tomato paste was perhaps not what I expected, but the sesame bagel was truly nice.

I absolutely recommend this place.

LOVE the salmon + cream cheese combo bagel. The bagels are so soft and the ratio of cream cheese to bagel is just right. Just heavenly with their smoked salmon too, though the salmon could be a little less salty. Lines not too long. Vibes are very good on California Ave, especially when the farmers market is nearby. Great pick for a casual weekend breakfast.

Good morning! But bagel first.

This is your everyday breakfast place in Palo Alto if you are looking for a decent bagel to start a day. Bagel sandwich with egg & bacon is all I would ask for breakfast but don’t forget to add cheese (it is not included in the standard menu).
They only have standing area indoor but have plenty of seats with colors tables and chairs there to cheer you up. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

Their bagels are amazing! I recommend getting their Lox Gourmet Bagel. They have a nice selection of different bagels. My favorites are the Sundried Tomato and the Egg Bagel.

Nice lil bagel spot on California ave. Hung out here with a bud outside. Supposedly should remind you have NYC bagels but unfortunately I haven’t too many NYC bagels to claim that. No matter, the the avocado bagel toast was great!

Discovered this gem today. Bagels were stellar- soft, very fresh and the shmear was just right. Could not resist the black n white and sugar cookies. It will be a good substitute until I can complete my NY foodie bucket list. A must stop and stock up the next time I’m in PA.

I recently moved here from New York and have been craving a real NYC bagel, and Izzy's delivered! I got the gourmet lox bagel (comes with tomato, cucumber, onions, capers) with scallion and cucumber cream cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back often!

Best Bagels in Palo Alto. Kosher spot too, where all the emphasis is on the food. Get the Gourmet Lox Bagel on poppy seed - simply divine. The interior is scattered with old photos of new york & Brooklyn. Also bought their babaganoush from their fridge for home take-away which was super tasty.

As far as I know, it's the only bagel shop in bay area that serves white fish. Not bad.

Not remotely close to east coast style, but that's really all you can get in California 🥲

$13 cash price.

I'm used to New York bagels, so I'm a tough critic, but I really liked Izzy's! The bagels weren't quite as fluffy as the east coast, but they had great options and many spreads, including a vegan cream cheese. The bagel shop is run very efficiently, so even when the line is long, it moves very quickly. Going back for sure!

Izzy’s is a staple for us. Best bagels, bar none. Our favorites are the onion and egg bagels with lox, and also the Pac Man. 🥯
