Rinconada Cultural Park

This is nice and pretty new playground just next to the junior museum and zoo. It has big space and two major structures targeting for both big and small kids. The high slide is amazing. Overall it’s nice place to do some extra energy discharging for your kids after visiting the zoo..

Very large park really well located on the free cross city bus line, and next to the library and arts center. There are tennis courts and basketball courts here, as well as large open grassy areas and other areas completely shaded by large trees. There are a few playground areas and a school connected to the park which is fenced off. The star of the show is an olympic style pool, which looks to be in great condition. Its a great place to bring kids or just watch the local wildlife.

Very clean and well kept! Tennis courts and bathrooms nearby. Lots of open grass outside of the fenced park. Great for picnics or sports/outdoor activities on the grass.
Cool/new/modern equipment for the kiddos. The tower that the big slide is attached to is big enough for adults to go up if child(ren) needs assistance.
Love that they integrated some workout equipment like an elliptical strider, stationary cycling bike, etc.

Can't get better than this! It's safe, comfortable, and above all, has a lot of equipment.

There are 2 playgrounds outside the pool area, for toddlers and for older kids. You have to pay small amount to use the pool amenities. Pool has changing booth, kids sprinkles, pools with different depth, chase-lounge, restrooms.

A medium-sized park with multiple facilities (Swimming pools, tennis courts, and playgrounds) and located near the library, cultural centre, a zoo, and Walter Hays Elementary. The park has a very pleasant atmosphere, which makes it a great place for younger children and tweens to hang out.

Great place to run, walk your dog or let your kids loose on the playground. This park has tennis courts and a nearby zoo. The play structure is new and has lots of space with recumbent bikes and swings.

Good entertainment for kids. Worth the visit definitely.

Picnic table for the kids that was reserved for the birthday party and the playground was also nice and near the picnic tables but the location of the 🚻🚺 restrooms was a walk and to find until you are looking for it and live in the area in person in Palo Alto. And live in mountain view CA and reserve it for a occasion and it depends upon where you want to park in the parking lot.

The playground has a 3 story covered slide!

There's now a model of the solar system that puts the sizes and distances on the same scale, thus you walk most of the length of the park to get to Uranus and have to cross the street to get to Neptune.

(It'd be interesting to represent mass somehow, otherwise it's boggling to picture how gravity keeps Neptune in orbit from so far away that you can't even see the model Sun.)

The new playground is very great!

The pool is fantastic for kids. There are multiple sections for different age groups and water comfort levels. Particularly nice is a no-ledge entry section. Parking is tough to find so be prepared to search around the neighborhood. A bit expensive but worth in the summer.

Great pool for younger kids' water play - lots of shallow water, sloped entry, small water slide, and water jets. Arrive early on summer weekends - frequently reaches capacity. Smaller lap pool is clean and good condition. Locker rooms are roomy, and reasonably clean for a public facility.

It's good for all ages. From infants to 100 years & older. The water is always tested for cleanliness. Life guards are always on the watch, friendly staffs. You can bring your own food. $18 for family of 5 for non residents.

Big park with plenty of open grounds, picnic area (that you can reserve from the city), playgrounds, tennis courts, and a swimming pool center. The pool has a lap pool as well as a children’s pool with a shore entrance and fountains. There is parking all around on the streets.

I went swimming in the big pool. They also have a kid friendly pool as well. Great for kids and adults

New playground is finished and open! Brand new play structures and swings, fully fenced, no more wood chips and sand, and a few adult workout equipment, lots of shades too!

I was revisiting my first park. The signs they had for the stars were fabulous. For someone who is fascinated with stars the distance between planets was fascinating.
