Two of us had a week night dinner here We were seated right away and our server was excellent. She made great suggestions and went way above and and beyond talking about the food of Palestine and the Middle East in general. Our meal came quickly. The dishes were simply prepared and nicely plated.

My quest for good falafels in the Bay area finally comes to and end. The crunch, the spices, the bread - perfect.

Potatoes and eggs needed some salt - they were okayish, the Hummus, pita and falafels (even the stuffed ones) were awesome.

Background: partly grew up in the Mediterranean. So I think I know good what good falafels should crunch and taste like.

Delicious food and friendly service. We tried their chicken skewer platter with rice and hummus and got their falafel wrap which were both very good. Portions are big.

If you ever visit San Francisco, Cali and you’re looking for the best authentic Middle Eastern restaurant, this would be the place to go. Their Arabic breakfast is perfect and the Shawerma and Falafel sandwiches are the real taste of home 🇵🇸. The staff are very friendly and respectful and the customer service was over-the-top. I would definitely recommend it to anyone living in or visiting San Francisco!!

Best falafels I've had in SF and absolutely delicious. I love getting their food delivered or stopping by in person when I'm in the area. Service is friendly and friends have enjoyed it too. I always get 1/2 rice and hummus with combo or lamb or chicken. I love the desserts, their lentil soup, and the other dishes like musakhan is good too! A delicious spot for people who are gluten free/vegetarian with variety of menu items. The delicious falafel here is one of my favorites in the city!

Single gender neutral restroom on first floor. Indoor seating with a lot of 2-4 person tables. There's an upstairs patio for outdoor seating too.

Delicious food, so hearty and comforting. We usually get the vegetable combo plate to share cuz it has all the vegetarian goodies and have been loving the mansaf, comes with this awesome broth that you can drown your rice in. The Arabian lentil soup is also delicious, as is the Mousakan. The sumac is SO sumptuous and fragrantly tart on that chicken and the bread beneath it. The hot tea is such a lovely way to refresh the palate in between bites too. We stopped by the Middle Eastern market on the same block afterwards this time to buy the yogurt drink they serve here. The salty drinking yogurt was a surprise - SO good!

Delicious Middle Eastern dishes. They serve mainstream dishes like kebab and shawarma but they also have some traditional dishes like mansaf.

My oh my! Been wanting to go to this place after I saw someone recommending the Kunafa(K'nafeh) here on reddit. Wonderful place, with amazing staff & lovely ambience, and with great arabic music that is at just the right volume. The veggie combo platter with pita and side sauces(mint tahini and a kind of onion pickle) did not just look tantalizing, but tasted so heavenly! The freshly made falafels were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, coupled with the tahina, easily the best ones I've had in the US. Loved the creamy hummus, ful(specially with the dressing on the ful) and the dolma here.

Also had the wonderfully spiced coffee in a prettily designed cup and saucer and the mint tea.

Coming to the Kunafa, sooooo delicious! Right amount of sweetness, heated to perfection. Tasted even better than expected! Enjoyed every bite of the cheesy goodness!

Definitely worth going to SF from the south bay just to eat here :P Can't wait to go back here with friends next time!

Got a recommendation from a friend and the spot was on point. Best Mediterranean food I’ve had stateside. Authentic, fresh and delicious.

A bit on the pricier side for this type of food but not expensive and well worth it. The atmosphere on the patio section outside is a 10/10, inside could really use some work it’s more of a 6/10.

But the kitchen is clean and the food is great. Service can be a little slow during busy times, it is well worth the wait though. Highly recommend this spot!

Delicious hummus served the way it is supposed to, in a big plate. The Vegetarian combo is exceptional. They also have classic middle eastern tea with fresh mint. Lots of Gluten Free options (though no gluten free pita or substitute). Service is also really wonderful.

Everything was well worth its price! Every plate had an exceptionally generous serving of meat, and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The hummus and olive oil were excellent, pitas were nicely firm, and falafel had a crunchy outside. I wish there were more vegetables to balance out the meat and grains, but otherwise everything was perfect!

This place is a bit high end, pricier place for Mediterranean food. However, the experience is definitely better compared to any typical place. The food is well prepared and the service is top notched. I love the vegetarian platter and the assortments of pickled vegetables here. We would love to come back and explore more authentic dishes here.

I happened to stumble upon this amazing restaurant on accident as I was walking through the Mission. This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had! It’s a bit pricey but the meat combo plate was worth it.

Old Jerusalem has been consistently a good restaurant for many many years. This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Francisco. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their delicious and chill atmosphere. They got a nice back patio open as well. I recommend trying the Chicken Mousakhan, roasted chicken on top of a fried bread.

Delicious Mediterranean fare in an absolutely unassuming spot! We were surprised by how nice their backyard patio and outdoor seating was, which we didn't know existed until we entered the place. You know the place is authentic when they serve you complimentary pickled beets and olives. We tried the vegetarian platter and hummus, which were memorable. The food doesn't feel too oily or heavy. The place is family run and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this to everyone.

Picture: chicken shawarma

Despite being an auxiliary piece the pita bread was really great. Complemented the chicken and hummus beautifully. Glad I gave the place a try and would definitely visit again.
