I don't know about you, but it's pretty fun to roam the aisles of this place and look forward deals. Oftentimes there just a little bit less than other places, but you will also find some real steals. You also find things that are sometimes a little unusual or unexpected. Other times you wish that they had things on a regular basis, you do have to get used to the fact that if you like something they have it might not be there for a while or ever again. But get it while it lasts!! One thing I wish they would do a little bit better is have more Asian food, but I think that they are improving on that from what I've seen. I like that they have kimchi, potstickers, and some rice noodles and ramen noodles there the regular basis.

I love grocery outlet. The prices are cheap because they source surplus groceries that are still usable. I always find something new and it’s cheaper than elsewhere. Not the best if you want the same brand of groceries (bc there are no guarantees you’ll see the same thing twice) but amazing if you like variety and want to help combat food waste and save some money.

I bought the wonderful vegan cheese and an assortment of really good brand chicolates fitting for Xmas.gifts. They also have nice veggies there.

This place has incredible and consistent prices on great products. You won't find a better price on meat or most produce. Other items are hot or miss in terms of having your favorite brand in stock

Great deals, great prices and friendly staff!

For some reason Foods Co. was turning away customers today. They put a sign up stating that they were closed and locked the doors behind them.

We came to Grocery Outlet bc they are the closest next best price leader with better quality food items. Their location may be smaller, their parking lot tighter, but I do like their customer service and variety of items better.

What a difference from back in the day! They used to get expired leftover items other major grocers couldn't sell and were past date. You had to be careful when selecting items and check them carefully especially in Oakland where I lived at the time.

Now, Grocery Outlet has some of the best produce I have ever seen. They have a HUGE variety of vegan and vegetarian options. They have quality brand name products not factory leftover seconds no one ever heard of in this country.

They really have changed! In fact they have some better pricing than Foods Co. They are now very competitive with other major grocers. I am glad Foods Co. closed early and forced me to go come here. I did not regret it.

Great grocery! I’ve been to Bayshore, South Van Ness and Geary. They’re all great. The only warning is to check expiration dates on dressings and condiments. In the years I've shopped there, I once bought a mayo and dressing both expired.

Decently stocked, prices have gone up quite a bit but generally still lower than larger markets.

Lots of good stuff with at least decent quality (some are the same quality as regular supermarket )at very discounted prices. Also, variety of good everyday table wines from all over the world at under $10 and $20. Several convenient locations in out out of city with easy parking.

I love this grocery store. Reasonably priced goods compared to other stores and friendly staffs. But beware of the customers. Some can be really aggressive and violent. I had a really horrific encounter two weeks ago and I must say I’ll be staying away for a bit. Other than that it’s my go to grocery store.

Love this grocery store so much! They have everything you need for basic necessities and also the employees are super friendly and happy to help! As a student being on a budget is a necessity and grocery outlet makes that a reality! Perfect for anyone who wants to fill their pantry at reasonable prices! :)

One of the best stores in San Francisco, definitely some of the best prices around for groceries. Amazing deals on a rotating basis. The wow deals can be amazing... These are often items that are nearing the expiration date but worth getting if it'll be used.
The only real downside to shopping here is that they may not have everything you need/want but it's usually the pantry items, like cocoa, some spices, etc.
Highly suggest checking it out!

Still the best value for your money of all grocery chains in San Francisco.

They overcharged on a couple of items mismarked but everything is so cheap and I love this store so much that I don't even mind.

During the Pandemic, this was one place that had certain things, that other stores were out of - how they could do this was a miracle.
Even now, they never run out of Dr Pepper, while other stores, including Safeway often runs out. BUT this store out of all the other Grocery Outlet stores in Frisco - is the only one that haves bottled soda, rather curiously odd.
Also their frrozen foods chests are often stocked with lots of chicken and fish for folks who like to cook at home. And above the frozen food is lots of interesting candies along with occasional chocolate boxes for your lovey interests, when other places no longer haves them.

The first time I shopped here was back when I worked at Rainbow Co-op in 2019 and couldn't afford most of what they sold, it was a euphoric feeling as I was able to find certain things I liked that was discounted and personally didn't mind that it was close to expiration. I soon learned to buy 2 or more of it if It was something I really liked because there was no telling when it might show up again as these items were obtained by this Grocery chain in bulk for whatever reason. Food shopping here is fun as sometimes you don't know what you're gonna find so it's a mystery. The last job I had was at soma Whole foods in 2022, another overpriced place I couldn't afford to buy from and thanks to Grocery Outlet I was able to spend wisely. I hear that after the Safeway at Bay St left, another Grocery Outlet will pop up there so I'm looking forward to it.

My favorite place to shop my groceries!
My husband and I had tried buying in many different grocery stores but in this one is where we can save the most.
But it's say that you gotta pay attention to the due dates, that's all

This location has excellent prices. This location has multiple vegan options for the Lolo. Dislocation frequently carries beyond meat products! This location is also essential! Can’t wait to return. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. They do not have bike parking!
