I booked this place for a bridal party massage and was able to do mingle time. The mingle time lounge was so beautiful and relaxing. Dee went above and beyond and accommodated all my ladies and her communication was on point. All the masseuses were great and all my ladies felt relaxed. Def recommend this place!!

This place is amazing! You will not be disappointed. I had Christopher for a deep tissue massage and he saved me. By the time I left I felt so much better. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was great. Thank you!

Amazing experience from the service to the ambiance! We did the couple massage 90 min and I loved it. Thao (or Tao?) was my masseuse and she was very patient in understanding what I want from the massage. They also gave us Bellinis after which is a nice surprise

I am a picky massage receiver and have my person I like to go to, but was given gift certificates to Luminous from my sister in-law who has been trying to get me there for years. Finally went yesterday, it was fantastic! The ambiance, the people, the massage... Everything was great! I had the pleasure to be worked on by Sammy, and I will definitely book with her again. I am a massage therapist myself (I think that's why I'm so picky) so I've had a lot of massages over the years from many different people, but I don't think I have ever been this impressed with a therapists skill level and overall calm and warm presence. Highly recommend Sammy!

Wanted to treat my mom for mothers day and got a facial and massage for the two of us. Ive never gotten a massage before but had been feeling the knots from work and hoped this would help. I called to schedule a time and it was seamless. They take down a credit card to reserve the time. We were scheduled for 1145am on a friday. Definitely come early to find parking! Theres lots of metered parking but only with an hour limit (we took the risk lol). Once inside, it looked very small but they take you down a long hallway to a comforting waiting area/bathrooms. They had robes on a rack with slippers. Lockers were available in the bathrooms. We changed and did our facials first. I really appreciated talking about whats going on with my skin with Sonya and she told me what she was going to do today and also recommended what I should do for future skincare to improve my skin. It was very relaxing and she even did a partial massage of my upper chest, shoulders, arms, and back. Once finished, we went back to the waiting area and got taken to our massage. I chose the couples massage since I assumed itd be easier for us (I dont think it actually matters). Tatianna asked me what I wanted to focus on and I said my shoulders and wrists. My mom added on the deep tissue massage and said Vivian did a great job and really worked her. Once we finished the massages, we were given bellinis as part of the couples massage, a great way to finish! Overall a great experience and loved it. My mom already asked to go again.

The front desk was very friendly and invited me to wait at their lounge. I enjoyed the decor, spaciousness and relaxed lighting while I waited a few minutes.

Sam gave me a deep tissue massage. She had plenty of strength, had a soft touch, and helped relieve my knots. The massage table is heated which is also a really nice touch.

The price is a little more expensive than what I’m used to, but it was well worth it.

Really great spot for a massage! My boyfriend and I opted for a couples Swedish massage, and were welcomed by the front desk and led into a seating area where we were offered complimentary Bellinis. We were then escorted into the massage room and both masseuses did a terrific job in the 90 minutes they had. They checked for pressure often, and made sure we were comfortable. We came away trying to do the math on what this would cost us annually if we had to do it every other week:P Great experience overall!

Very nice place, clean and professional. Good vibe there. Really impressed with Elaine, she’s a super talented needle in a haystack of average everyday massage people.

Elaine’s massage is called a “treatment,” not really a massage (although she will accommodate you if you don’t want to go that deep). She works with nerves and fascia and is the one to see when you need more than a “feel good” experience. The place is not the cheapest in the area, but others are quickly catching up to their price, and they do have “memberships.”

I tip well when I get the equivalent of a medical massage for an hour. In that lens, Elaine is extremely cost effective for my body issues, so much more than many Doctors. MDs often seem to only provide drugs and judgement for pains and other things their minds can’t fathom. Elaine seems to use her Chinese wisdom from a different perspective and many times her treatment and her advice have been incredibly helpful.

I had a great experience with Stephanie. I came in suffering with a lot of neck tension that resulted in a tension head ache. She did such an amazing job I increased my time and bought my boyfriend a gift card! Well priced and friendly staff!

A little bit of luxury in downtown South San Francisco. I recommend getting there a little early so that you can relax and enjoy a beverage in the lounge. My 90 minute massage with Kim was exactly what I needed! She found all my knots and significantly relaxed them using deep pressure.

Very affordable and great massages. I highly recommend getting a subscription! I feel very comfortable there and have happily gone back month after month.

I absolutely love love love Luminous Day Spa! Nenah is the best! She has great techniques and checks in on pressure during the massage. She is awesome at deep tissue and because of her I signed up for the membership. Atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and clean. Love Boss Lady Dee too! Love chatting with Dee and she provides great tips.

Wonderful customer service from the time I inquired to the time I checked out. Very quiet, calming environment and the Bellinis were a lovely touch. Looking forward to a couple's spa day in our future. Thank you for enforcing masks on site.

Hidden gem! Amazing place, amazing service, one of the best massages of my life with Kim. She listened to what I wanted and wasn't afraid to dig deep (it was a deep tissue massage). Highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back.
