I recently purchased two pairs of shoes from this store. Jay was incredibly helpful and offered excellent advice. It was a perfect experience.

Best made American shoe period. I brought 3 pair in for recraft (yes, you can send them back to the factory to get the soles and heals replaced - and they properly refinish them). The person that helped me was great. Offered to change the type of sole on my boots if I wanted. Just great and knowledgeable service. Hard to find people who actually care about the products that they are selling. Get your shoes here. If you are like me, you'll be bringing them back to have them recrafted 35 years later.

First time going into the Allen Edmonds store and Jay was super helpful and took the time to let me browse on my own and when I had any questions, he had the answers and suggestions. GREAT customer service! Glad I did not order the shoes online and instead chose to go into the store to get fitted. Tried on 3-5 different sizes and Jay did not mind having to run back and forth for different sizes for me. He was super professional and greeted me once I stepped into the doors. Unlike at Nordstrom in downtown, sales associates never once greeted me even though I walked around a couple of times. Thanks again for the great experience and Allen Edmonds has gained a very satisfied customer. Will definitely recommend others to your brand. I bought the Strand, shoe polish, and socks in store back in April. Just ordered a belt and cedar shoe trees online.

For the price per wear on classic timeless style shoes no other brand beats Allen edmonds. Hundreds of american/heritage/M.I.U.S.A end up moving production overseas and substituting the quality materials all in the name of cost saving while keeping high prices. Allen edmonds arent the cheapest dollar wise but worth every penny. Not only that, they still offer that old school service. You walk in and Ray and Daniel treat and serve you the way you want to be and inform and advise you like true professionals in their field. Come in and experience it for yourself

I stopped in at the Union Square location today after looking for shoes at Macy's, Barney's, Nike, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. I'm extremely particular about style and quality, and I'm difficult to fit because I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. I just happened to pass the store and walked in the door to look. Mario greeted me and told me to look around. No pressure. I asked a couple of questions about some Italian loafers and he asked if I wanted to try them on. I said yes, if he wouldn't be upset if I didn't buy---as I mentioned, I'm particular. He measured both of my feet and brought out the shoes in three different sizes. We found a good fit and they looked great so I bought them. They are made in Italy and look just like Gucci but at about half the price. So at the moment, I'm pretty happy. Recommended, give it a try.

I was served by Mario, who was very friendly and helpful! Tried at least 10pairs of shoes before I made my purchase, but Mario was patient and friendly throughout the whole process.
And of course, while the shoes were lovely, the service definitely made the shopping experience much better.

Jay was so helpful. He is an expert in all things shoe related and taught us all about the differences in leathers, styles and even how to tie shoelaces in a certain way. He took the time to help my husband find the right shoe with the right fit. We don't live here, but we'r will be shopping here for a long time to come.

Allen Edmonds is an awesome brand and their SF store is a lovely store. Mario and Jay were so helpful. If you are looking for a pair of fashionable and classic dress shoes that will last a long time, look no further.

Best shoes I have ever owned! They are a little pricey, but I swear they are worth every penny! They are stylish and comfortable, the best of both worlds! They will easily last a decade or more!

I have stopped in twice (so far), and both times have gotten outstanding service. Paul was a great help with sizing and information, and Keven was super helpful when I was ready to purchase. I cannot recommend their in-store service enough.

Really nice store with excellent service and stock. The place is gorgeous and one can see almost anything that the brand carries. The fitting zone at the back of the store is super comfortable with lounge chairs and a huge mirror. The staff is really helpful without being too much on top of you.
