Dr. Saiki was wonderful to work with. On a Monday morning, we contacted her before 9am, and she was able and willing to come in that same morning. Two hours after calling her, she came into our office and consoled our staff as she administered the euthanasia. Our office cat Bernie was so loved and it was such a hard time for us to see Bernie go. His 16 years of life was special to our JATC staff and students; he was truly a part of the family, and he will be so so missed. Dr. Saiki was loving and caring and provided our staff a calming and professional service. After our tears were wiped away there was a sense of peace with our reality of Bernie's passing. Dr. Saiki sent our office condolences in a card one week later, and that gesture was very touching and appreciated. Within two weeks we received Bernie's ashes. Cannot thank Dr. Saiki enough for making a very hard experience a little more easier! Bernie was able to return back home with us and now still shines his light on our office and school everyday!

Dr. Saiki helped us through one of the most emotionally difficult parts of pet ownership - having to say goodbye. Having her come to our home to help ease Bella's transition was the best decision we could have made. She was honest and direct about the process, and clearly had a ton of compassion for what we were experiencing. I highly recommend her - she does an incredibly difficult job with excellence, skill, and compassion.

Thanks Dr Saiki for making the time to ease our dog’s suffering and allow all of us to be with her at home when she passed away.

Really made the whole painful process a lot easier. Much appreciation for all you did for our family and our dog Wendy.

In this most difficult of tasks faced by a pet owner, Dr. Saiki's professionalism was invaluable. She shepherded us through in our making this heart-wrenching decision and explained each stage of the procedure. Throughout the entire session her sensitivity and empathy were very comforting. Our heart-felt thanks goes out to her.

Dr. Saiki is a caring veterinarian who provides an emotionally supportive at home euthanasia service for our companion animals in their most dire time of need. We knew that our Basset Hound was nearing the end of his life and planned for his transition to occur at the office of the veterinarian who had cared for him for many years. Unfortunately when his time finally came on a holiday weekend our suffering poochie was unable to endure transport to his vet’s office during regular open hours. We knew that we needed to end his pain so we decided to look for an at home euthanasia service. After checking the internet and discovering Dr. Saiki’s testimonials we knew she was our preferred choice. Even though she had never met us before she called back within two hours after we left a message detailing the situation. She was able to set up an appointment to come and help ease our baby on his way. She explained the procedure, describing what we could typically expect at each stage, but also providing thorough information on possible atypical responses. Our hound had a very gentle peaceful passing. Dr. Saiki was able to prepare a pawprint keepsake for us in remembrance of our pooch and provide the same cremation services that are available at a traditional veterinary office. Her service helped to ease an emotionally wrenching situation. We are forever grateful.

Dr Saiki was quick to respond, same day service and made us feel at ease and comfortable during our sweet boys transition to heaven! Thank you for helping us send him off in the most peaceful and stress free environment possible, in his home, with his family!

This is the second time we unfortunately had to use the services of Dr Saiki and we have nothing but the highest praise for her. This was an emergency call and she came over immediately and helped our 18 year old cat out of her suffering. She was professional, caring, efficient and kind.
Do not hesitate to call her if you need to

We were so grateful to find Dr. Saiki. We were no previous clients of her, but she was willing to come to us last minute and even after her cut off time to leave for an appointment in the afternoon.

Our aged and ailing female dog was getting worse quickly and it was apparent that we should not wait any longer to bring peace to her. Dr. Saiki agreed to drive to the Los Gatos Mountains and meet my husband at the top of our road. We live very remote off the grid and 4 miles down a dirt road.

We were so grateful for her companionate and empathetic demeaner. Bailey's last moments couldn't have been more peaceful and loving. She drifted of to sleep with her animal brother close by and all the people she loved.

Thank you again Dr. Saiki.

Dr. Saiki was there for our family and our pup when his time came after a long bout of cancer. She was calm, steady, communicative and understanding of our feelings as the she performed the necessary steps. Our family is grateful to Dr. Saiki for her excellent service.

Dr. Saiki had already called it a day when we reached out to her, but that didn't stop her from coming to our home. She was kind, compassionate and did not rush us. She was patient with our 10- year-old son who was inconsolable. The ability to say to good bye to our sweet pup in our own home was probably the best scenario in the worst circumstances. Dr. Saiki made the difficult bearable and we're thankful we learned of her services.

Dr. Saiki was very responsive to our initial inquiry. She made time in her schedule to come out to our home and help with our beloved kitty Sadie. Sadie had become very sick in a short span of time and she was in pain, and ready to go. Dr. Saiki was warm, compassionate, respectful, and explained everything that she would do. It was so hard to say goodbye to Sadie girl. Dr. Saiki made it possible to do that in the comfort of our home, and I know Sadie was better off for that. Thank you.

Dr. Saiki was wonderful in the way she handled putting our 13.5 year Australian Shepherd to sleep. She was great in explaining the steps and helping ease the sadness of the family losing our 4 legged member. She was very patient with the family too. Dr. Saiki was also recommended by our normal vet when we needed someone who would come to our house.

On a Monday evening I reached out to a company that my friend had referred me to that would send a veterinarian to our home to give our 20 year old "baby" a peaceful transition to heaven. The company called back in the morning and informed me that they didn't have any availability until Thursday. I knew that our kitty could not make it that long or if he did, he would be in very poor shape. I felt the point of making the very difficult decision to euthanize a pet was to have it happen in a timely manner. I made four more phone calls and some were out of town or the pricing was very high and the timing would not work for my kids to say their final goodbyes.

Dr. Saiki wasn't able to answer the phone, but she texted me back within 10 minutes of my message and said she would be available in 30-45 min. She texted me when she was done with her appointment and I asked her if we could speak on the phone. She called me between appointments and we were able to schedule 3:00 p.m. which gave the kids time to be home and spend two hours with him.

Dr. Saiki was running 15 min late, but sent me a text letting me know. She arrived with her medical bag and we filled out the paperwork for the cremation services and her services. She will take the pet, and take care of all the cremation piece so that you don't have to transport or figure all of that out. You also can schedule the return date of your pet in their urn. You should plan it for when you know you will be home since you need to sign for it.

I knew we couldn't consider taking him to the vet office to have this done since he would have been so stressed to be transported there. His last two years of going to the vet hadn't been easy for him.

We chose to have him in the place that he would feel safe and content. You will need a garbage bag and a towel or blanket to put under your pet. It can prevent any bladder or other issues. We didn't end up with any, but given that it was on our bed, it was safest to do it this way. He was surrounded by all of us giving him loves and hugs before she gave him the sedative to relax him. She then checked him numerous times to make sure he was completed "asleep" as if he would be able to have surgery. He had kidney disease so he started having some neurological twitching so she added a muscle relaxant the help him. When he was ready to get the final injection, we each gave him a final kiss and whispered in his ear how much we loved him. One of my children and myself left the room and my other child and husband remained with him to the very end.

She took him and put him in a box to transport him to be picked up by the crematorium. Apparently, they will get all the pets in the area once a week. I was so grateful not to have to manage that process at all.

She also did a paw print for us and left that with us. It takes about a week to fully harden.

I can't thank Dr. Saiki enough for being available in a time that was beyond difficult for my family. She showed compassion toward our cat and said that we gave him a gift by having his final days be handled this way and not allowing him to die in pain and suffering. I just couldn't bear that at all. He was such an important part of my life for 20 years and I wanted his final days and hours to be with us and surrounded by us in a setting that he loved.

I'm beyond grateful that there are services like this available. Dr. Saiki is a mobile veterinarian, so she can take care of your pet's other needs as well. We are very glad we chose her to help his transition into a better place and I do believe that I will see him again some day.

Dr. Saiki has been our family vet for a while now, and I trust her implicitly. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, honest and compassionate. When our elderly cat Zetha became ill with a difficult disorder, Dr. Saiki was there with us every step of the way. When it came time to put her to sleep, I cannot imagine having had the strength to do so without Dr. Saiki's support and really caring, expert assistance. She kept Zetha really comfortable throughout, and it made a world of difference being able to say goodbye to her in the privacy of our own home, holding and petting her as she passed on. You won't find a better more empathetic vet anywhere. We'd recommend her highly, not only for end of life care but also for total vet care.
