The Capital Grille

In town for a little getaway and chose this place based on reviews. One of the best experiences and most delicious steak we have ever had. Our waiter Andy was phenomenal and really made our night extra special. Will definitely be back.

What a dining experience! Firstly I'd like to mention our waiter, Jake. He provided phenomenal service and people could learn from him! The food was outstanding. The NY strip was a clear winner but everything we tried was a hit from steak, to drinks and dessert! Sure it's expensive but you already know that going in. You get what you pay for and it's worth it!

What a magnificent dinner! Very classy place, and the service from everyone was prompt and excellent. Caesar salad was very fresh and the dressing had awesome flavor. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and every single bite was absolutely delicious. I normally don't order dessert, but after the first few courses I had to see what was offered and decided to go with the coconut cream pie. Underneath a giant pile of whipped cream was a tasty puck of coconutty goodness, and the accompanying butter cookie was a marvelous treat. I'm usually quite disciplined when sticking to specific dietary restrictions, but everything here was so amazing that it was totally worth the calories to splurge.

Dined in for my birthday, the server was very nice and took very good care of us. The food came out promptly and they offered me a complimentary small dessert sample. It made me feel all warm and special. You cannot go wrong with any of the food items. I loved the lamb chops and crab cake. My husband had the Tomahawk and it was great as well.

The food was great and service was excellent! Rod was super attentive and took such amazing care of us.

The total came to $340 after tip and taxes, but we felt like it was worth it for the atmosphere, food quality, and service.

We got one appetizer, two entrees, a lobster tail add-on, a side dish, cheesecake, diet coke, and one cocktail.

I’m from the Midwest and visited Seattle for work. I tried a few places in the city, and only this place cooked the seafood well.

I had the Alaskan Halibut — one of the seasonal specials, recommended by the friendly and helpful staff — for lunch, and it was very pleasant. The risotto was properly cooked, infused with the aroma of pesto and the creaminess of mascarpone. The halibut was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, indicating that their chef really knows how to grill. The sourness of the vinaigrette and the pickle gave the dish a kick, balancing the savory flavor of the fish.

This place is so, so busy and I went during the week so you probably need to come early or make a res for a weekend night or with a group.
But I loved all of the food I had! The field green salad, I had with the citrus vinaigrette, I came two nights and a row for. So refreshing! The sea bass and asparagus was also so good, as was the steak filet, no notes! The spinach was good; I ate the full size by myself. The drinks were strong and taste like alcohol. Not a complaint but my server did clarify they don’t add additional sweeteners, which I like. It may sound silly but the star of the show for me was the pumpernickel bread! I probably had 6 slices over 2 nights and I’d eat more right now.

This an upscale restaurant. I was there 7 months ago, and i can't wait to go back. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the servers were amazing. If you haven't been there yet, and you love a good steak, you should give it a try. 👌👌

My fiance surprised me with dinner here. It was the most incredible dining experience I have ever had. The photos speak for themselves. I will be back as soon as possible. The service and food were nothing short of phenomenal! Thank you so much!!

What an amazing experience, from the moment we arrived it was 5 STARS!! Probably the best dining experience I have had in any steakhouse, from spot on recommendations to the perfect martini to the amazing wines that were paired with our food. The crab cake was cooked perfectly, the Ahi Tuna and my Tenderloin were perfect as well. Andy our server was again probably the best server I have ever had! I have dined at the majority of the steakhouses in Seattle and the Capital Grille is easily my new favorite!

OMG!!! This place was one of our top restaraunt and dining experience out of our entire vacation! The food was put of this world, our server provided the best service and went out of her way to make us feel special!!! TOP NOTCH experience here!! ...get the sea bass you WON'T regret it!

Loved it, we celebrated our anniversary here, the meat is perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes are sooo smooth and the cheesecake is absolutely incredible.

Well, for fine dining, they're a bit relaxed when it comes to the dress code. This is a good thing - imagine if they turned away an infamously casual dressed Adam Sandler. While men can't wear a muscle shirt and no one can wear obvious athletic clothing (sorry ladies, no gym leggings), they're pretty forgiving otherwise.

Started out with bread (complimentary), cocktails (espresso martini and a mojito), split the fresh oysters on the half shell, and the mixed spring greens salad. Moved on to the mains - pan seared sea bass, and the chef suggested sliced filet mignon.

Folks, bring your appetites - the portions aren't skimpy and everything tastes great. My one suggestion is to take wine suggestions from your server - they know the menu and the flavors, so just tell them your preferences, and then let them work their magic.

The service is friendly, professional, and matches the ambience of the location and quality of the food. Special occasion or not, give this establishment a visit when in town.

First time going to this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing!! Anna was our server and she was the best server! She was very kind and helped us with the menu and paying! She gave us complementary appetizers plus dessert! She gave us refills without having to ask and even gave us new utensils for dinner! The hostess were very kind as well! I didn’t catch their names though. I recommend going here!

Service was definitely 5 star. I am impressed with the bread choices and the sea salt butter. A little disappointed with the steak tartare we had. The flavour over killed the dish. However, the crab cake is a killer. Overall still a five star restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to a restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Everything was wonderful, and we particularly enjoyed the chef's special. Also, we'd like to express our gratitude for the excellent service.

Phenomenal food, drinks, and excellent service! The calamari and the steaks were cooked to perfection with a taste out of this world, plus melt in your mouth. The service was wonderful, Anna was our server and she was prompt and kind, answering all of our questions. 10/10 recommend.

I am really impressed! Josh the manager, the waitstaff (Amber) and the chef really have a strong desire to make your experience one you will always remember. I am still thinking of this amazing meal and the way we were treated and it’s been 2 weeks! Thank you for putting so much care and attention in everything you do to make your guests feel special. What a night we had :)

Not necessarily the place I would've picked, (fancier than I usually would pick for lunch) but my parents invited me and wow - salmon was cooked to perfection (steak was as well, just not my dish). And the attention/ care they give to regulars (my parents go about once a month) was amazing. The personal touch was impressive.
