The folks here are very polite and friendly-we ordered 2 clam strip plates, clam fritters and lobster bisque. Very clean and roomy. Family friendly. Clam straps were great as was all of our order.

I love a lobster roll, and this one was no exception! It was tender, hot, and buttery. I also got the onion rings, which were good, but the fries my family got were better. We also shared a Greek salad, which was fresh and crisp and the perfect addition to the meal. Glad we stopped here!

Delicious. Flaky fish. Fried mushrooms were awesome, and fries were crunchy on outside and soft in the middle.

We were happy with the freshness of the food and the value! I had the cold lobster roll. It was very satisfying, personally I could’ve gone for a slightly more flavorful Mayo/dressing, but I just added some lemon. Very casual interior. Fast service!

When I walked in I was like…. This doesn’t look like a five star restaurant. But the cool thing, it actually is.
I ordered the house special fish and chips.
It was perfect!

It’s cool that they also have a nice little Greek selection. I’ll probably try that next time I come.

Nice clean location, tables clearly labeled where to sit and not sit (COVID related regulations).

The fish and chips is very good, highly recommend and the child’s portion is good as well and will more than suffice for many adults.

Steak and cheese grinders are good, solid pick. Grilled cheese and hot dogs are done well and are a good menu option.

Their potato clam cakes....my my are they delish. Highly recommend you try them.

Their fries, curly fries, and onion rings are all good.

Clam Chowder and lobster bisque, to me, are not great, others I have been with have liked the chowder. I like a more robust flavored chowder- bacon, chives, black pepper....it is a moderately creamy but not thick variety. It is not bad, but just not my type of chowder.

Overall, this is a great place and will give other local seafood restaurants a run for their money. And it is nice to see a business going into the old sad looking Pizza Hut building. Good job making that run down building look fresh and new.

The fried shrimp dinner was fantastic. Hand-breaded and very fresh. Their homemade coleslaw was crunchy and delicious.

Great tasting food & varied menu selection. Love their clam fritters! Light and fluffy....and you can taste the clams! Staff is great. Indoor and outdoor seating.

A great seafood shack in two Connecticut locations. Fried clams were succulent and well prepared. I’m getting wings were out of this world. Crabcakes were tasty. And for dessert: plenty of ice cream. What more could you ask for? Open year-round and quite Affordable

Went for my first fish sandwich this summer and went to Skippers to get one of the best in the area. Been going to Skippers for years and they never disappoint. A large sandwich with a big piece of fish that isn’t overly breaded and served on a large sesame seed bun. Just a perfect lunch on a perfect day.

Stopped in for a late lunch of a gyro and a steak and cheese sandwich. Really good. Immaculately clean place. Friendly guys!

Excellent year round clam shank! Food is consistently good and bright nautical ambience appropriate but not overwhelming.

Spotlessly clean and absolutely phenomenal fish and chips. The strip clams were amazing…we just can’t say enough good about this place!!! Fish fry heaven.

This place is highly underrated. I've gotten lobster rolls that were juicy and hot. Ive gotten their string onion rings which are Incredible, crunchy, hot. So good. Their cheeseburgers are really good too and big. Love their fries and their clams and oysters. The food is really good. Cant understand why it isn't busier. People need to go there.
