American Legion Park

This was a very nice new park and it was not crowded. And the weather in this park is better than the rest of the city amd the dog slides will make your puppy go crazy....

Beautiful park, large, clean, and lots of different stuff to do. There's something for everyone of all ages!!

This park was lots of fun! Thry have a nice playground, awesome splash pad, and a nice skate park! It even has walking trails connecting everything.

Ample parking. Good selection of play equipment for all aged kids.

Nicely laid out design in this park. Large paved parking lot, spacious sheltered picnic area, dun splash pad, clean restrooms, tennis courts and more. One of the overall nicest parks in the area. Definitely will be back to visit soon!

There are skate park, playground and splash pad here. Close to many good restaurants. You can stay here for a whole day.

Great for kids. Family events or just a day at the park. There is a large and small shelter, public restrooms that were clean. A Splash pad for summer fun, a newly built skate park, a ball field and a playground. Plenty of space to do any activities you like.

My kids love it here. The splash pad is always a big hit. There's not much shade around the splash pad and kids do a good job of experimenting with the water pressure to soak adults sitting on the benches, so just bring sunscreen and expect to get wet if you're anywhere near it. The playground is nice too. The bathrooms are serviceable and I've always found them to be cleaner than most public parks. Overall, we've always had good experiences here.

This park is a hidden gem. In the summer, the splash pad has shade from all the trees, its self operated meaning an adult pushes the button and the water squirts for approx 15 minutes, then shuts off again. There is a covered shelter area, softball diamond, they just put in an AMAZING skate park that is full of kids and adults all different levels skating and doing tricks. It's fun to just go sit and watch. They have a tennis court, but it needs some love. I wish they would resurface it and add some Pickleball lines. It also has a basketball court, a walking path, and a big grassy area for dogs to chase balls (leashed if course, or at least well trained).

We love taking our grandchildren here! Something for every age- babies(swings), swings for older ones, a water area with a sprinkler system (turns on @ 11am), a large sandbox, & a merry-go-round. New to me this year was a skateboard area. Large shelter, electricity, & many tables! And so much more!!

We rented the shelter for my son's birthday, played some baseball, splash pad, and tons of space! Added tons of parking!

Very nice park for kids to play at, also pretty cool skatepark for the older kids at well. Well maintained and taken care of. Highly recommend

The park is nice. I went there for racquet wall. It's the way to get my morning exercise going. I really like the park. I wish that everyone would follow the rules. I saw people walked their dogs on the tennis court, rollerblading, skateboarding. I guess not everyone has that kind of thought like me to where I have respect and understand.

Kids had a great time in the splash pad (it's button operated) and climbing frames. Plenty of shady spots for hot days. Right near the main shopping area of Valley Junction.
