I just found out a friend of mine is going through the same experience I did with Michelle, I want to make sure people are aware so they don’t have to go through what we did.
My fiancé and I were renting a property that michelle was “managing.” We lived there during the 2020 Derecho, and had a lot of tree damage in our backyard and the electricity in the kitchen completely shut off - even after the house got power back. We emailed michelle as soon as we found out we lost power in the kitchen but we never heard back. I eventually gave up and put in an application for an apartment - only THEN did I get an email from Michelle when she was “confused as to why we were moving out.” I told her we had tried to contact her and she said it was “our responsibility to continue to reach out” because she “didn’t see the email.” She then refused to give rental verification, and my apartment complex understood 100% why we wanted to leave.

This is one of the worst property management companies out there. I don't know why owners still use them. Never could get things fixed. Steps on the porch basically deteriorated, asked to fix. The fix never happened. It took 3 asks to get the dryer replaced. When Michelle took over property management, she sent a text, not even an email from the company address a freaking text, stating I needed to pay her on Venmo for rent. No stating she was the new landlord or nothing. Then proceeded to argue with me. Who is just going to say, "of course I'll pay you, random stranger". I notified her that I wanted a lease renewal, from my first year which was signed with the previous management group, and never got one. 5 years on a month to month, basically. Steer clear of this company or any property that has them as a management company.

Michelle asked me to call her and once she heard my voice her tone changed. She canceled our appointment not saying why and did not respond. I do see she has allot of negative reviews and I will take this to the Housing Authorities or whom ever needs to hear this. She is a very poor Representation of the company and I will make sure to report her.

This woman does not follow through with anything she says. She makes appointments and does not keep them. She never responds and keeps people waiting. Would never recommend Choice Realty to anyone. Even kept someone's deposit after telling them to meet her at the rental property to get the keys and never showed up and did not even call to say she was running late or wasn't coming. Be aware!!!!

This woman is vial and should not be working with the public. She won't say who her boss is. What does she have to hide beside not doing her job in a timely manner. She is very rude to talk to and didn't answer the question asked of her. Very bossy.

Michelle was extremely rude and unfair.
