Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh

So far, this is my favorite store. More options on just about everything, then their other stores. The pop out of the machines have always tasted really good, where I've had problems at other stations. I really absolutely love the employees. I miss living over there by this location. They are very professional and friendly. If you need anything, just ask. I am disabled and have problems carrying to much. I have had them help me to my car. Good group of younger employees that are not afraid to work. I have to also put attention to the cleanliness of the store, inside and out. Including bathrooms, drink stations, and food stations. Keep things the way they are and I will always stop there on my way through, passing other gas stations.

I stopped by to grab a fountain drink,2 coffee drinks and grabbed a breakfast sandwich. Best sandwich I ever had. Store was clean and stocked.

The location is convenient for me as it’s around the corner from my home. They have a decent selection of beverages and fresh foods. Surprisingly, they have a decent tenderloin sandwich. It’s better when you catch them while they’re fresh, but they are still great for being made in a convenient store. I’ve had the tenderloin sandwich from the Hy-Vee kitchen in Windsor Heights and it wasn’t nearly as good as the one from this Fast and Fresh location.

I love getting fuel saver money as a Hy-Vee perk just for getting groceries I would already need anyway- free gas is ALWAYS a plus (even discounted is great these days)! This place is also quick and conveniently located to grab last minute items for dinner, etc. All employees here are incredibly friendly and helpful as well!

We want to thank the Hyvee Fast and Fresh on Hickman road for their generous donation of fruit and bottled water to the Hoover High School Post Prom event that was held last Saturday. Adam was so helpful! This store and is a fantastic community partner and we appreciate your donation!!

I THOUGHT Jose was “watching” me, but I realized within minutes that he was ACTUALLY watching my movements, because as soon as I received my breakfast, he was already headed towards the register to ring me out. THAT is customer service x 10.

Their coffee is the best budget coffee in the metro bar none.

Came in expecting a hot sandwich but instead got a breakfast skillet bowl and a full order of biscuits and gravy. (Bomb). Jill was working the kitchen and offered to cook me anything I wanted multiple times. She offered the same to every customer who came in. Was very kind and had great customer service. I will definitely be returning!

The chicken strips are hit and miss and Casey's has a better selection. I go to this location for one reason and that's to interact with this cashier they've got, Lenora. I can not stress how great this lady is. She's hilarious, super loud (in like a fun way) and the friendliest person you could ever hope to meet.

Really large selection of food items and the employees are nice to me and my family every time we shop here. The store is clean and organized and if I have a question I always get the help desired. Strongly recommend going here if you want food and don’t feel like cooking yourself bc the stuff brought over from market grill in the cold section looks and tastes fantastic!

Among the best staffed grocery stores on the east side , a community staple

So awesome the store has a nice variety of products. And the coffee shop is a great addition. I really love the drive-thru option that has been added. The team seems really happy to be here. We are happy to have them here especially a gas station that carries E-85 as an option.

Needed my gas filled up today. Raining hard. As a person with mobility issues, I pulled up to the pump for disabled persons (I have a permanent tag). A WONDERFUL High Schooler came out and filled up my car for me. His name is "Max". His smile lit up my life, and he told me that just yesterday he made ALL-State Choir. This bit of exciting news made my day. In my younger life I was very involved in the Johnston School District. This personable youngster has a bright future. Thanks, Max!

Had the worst experience ever in all the time I’ve been coming here, every day since the day it opened a couple years ago. It will be escalated and I will never be in there again for as long as this employee works there. Still getting 5 stars because it is a great place despite that employee.

More than what I expected. The staff is aware of their responsibilities and they do a great job. The gas pump handles are a little tricky to figure out. Nice clean facility.

Very clean, very nice and friendly staff. I had issues in the past with a gentleman named Clint but I recently found out he was no longer there. I’m happy to say this will once again become a regular stop for me.

A brand-new, much-needed addition to the Beaverdale neighborhood! While I personally don't go here often I know a great deal of people who do. A bit pricey but they have everything you need, stop by!
