Ted's Coney Island

I have just finished the another delicious lunch at Ted’s Coney Island on Ingersoll. The absolute best coneys & chili in the Midwest - consistently! Friendly, prompt customer service & quality food keeps me returning several times a week. Love Ted’s!

Had the classic coney dog and hot dog with onion rings and fries, food wasn't spectacular but was good. Staff was so nice and the restaurant was pretty clean. Food was ready quick and made a nice road trip spot. My husband really enjoyed the gyro!

I wish they had more of their actual Ted's t-shirts with the picture on it, but nobody seems to know... The onion rings were good as was the coney hot dog

Excellent!!!! Other than No Napkins No Plasticware. The food was fantastic! Drive-thru! Teddy says thanks for bacon treat!

If you really love hot and crispy onion rings then this is the place. Also, try the new Vienna which is a large Frank with all the trimmings at a reasonable price.

One of the best Gyros I've had in Iowa

Had the Diablo tenderloin, very good. Onion rings and fries were good too. Fries were almost like McDonald but fresh. Would like to try the gyro next time. Staff was nice. Would definitely go back again.

This might be weird but I think Ted’s has the actual best falafel sandwich in Des Moines. It’s perfect every single time. Great place, fantastic falafel.

It was damn good food as always I had the tenderloin and my mom had a loose meet sandwich ,she didn't get much meat in it, plain hotdogs was 2.50.

Three of us had lunch and ate in at the Ingersoll location. Two of us got Gyros and one a bacon burger. Excellent food! The onion rings and French fries were perfect as were the sandwiches. The fries were as perfect as they could get and the onion rings were just as good. The dining area was clean and neat and as we were leaving, they were already cleaning the booth we had used. Parking in their lot is a tight fit so get there early for lunch. For a good lunch, this place cannot be exceeded.

We went through the drive thru and did not have to wait very long and we had nice fresh hot food. I had the tenderloin and the combination of the toppings was perfect. I should have got an extra Dr pepper because the food was so good I wasn't chewing it up good enough

Let me start by saying the super polite sweet young man taking our order did a great 👍🏼 job! The food was hot fresh & DELICIOUS! The gyros were hands down the best I've had in years 🙌🏽. And the tzatziki sauce is the homemade sauce I've ever tasted 😋 We'll be back when in Des Moines again.

Ted's is always a treat. There's no bet gyro, and I love their beef burger!!!

Onion rings hot and crisp. The gyros was fresh and delicious. The Greek salad fresh vegetables olives and perfect dressing.

Great gryo and Coney's. You get onion rings, fries & Cole slaw with basket meals.

There's a reason Ted's has been in buisness as long as they have been. Meat burgers are good. Their falafel burger is amazing, a great treat for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Their gyros are also great. Highly recommend.

I ordered a coney dog. The flavor was impecible. But what stood out the most, was the service. The tall young man who worked the register was very kind. I will be going there again.
