Price Chopper

Great food, I really like this store! But the corn is nasty though

Their prices are 25% less than Hy-Vee. It is a great place to shop and save money.

As long time Shopper at Dahl's on Ingersoll I find myself pleasantly surprised that the Price Chopper store needs all, and in some ways more, of doll standards. And I am happy to report all the people working there have been pleasant and helpful beyond Compare! The store even kept the mercy Wellness Clinic on site. (I still don't like the word Chopper in the name though).

I am from the East, and I was visiting my father who lives in a retirement community close to this Price Chopper store. He sent me to shop three times. I found the staff at both the cash register and the deli counter very cheerful and friendly. When I was looking for free items with my dad's rewards card, they were clearly marked.

Great service and friendly staff. They may not have the options of Whole Foods, but this is a store with good produce and a small organic section that will suffice.

It was a pleasant shopping experience. I easily found the things I was looking for. The store was clean and quiet, easily checked out.

awesome grocer fresh veggie dept! + close shopping in area one stop shopping too many stores 1 or 2 block radius , ie walking DIST.!!!!!!

Just love this store. I had the pleasure of shopping here for the first time ever just a couple weeks ago. I was amazed!!! Beyond clean..stocked and ready to handle business!!!!

Very helpful staff. Nice people. Always clean. The deli is also good. Sign up for your price chopper rewards and get free food or save on gas.

I love this grocery store. Very reasonable prices, great sales, and the employees have great friendly attitude. The store is clean and well maintained. Parking lot is great. It's easy to get in and back out in a hurry, if needed.

Sadly, after the store chain has changed hands, it has not been a good thing.
There has been such a huge turnover of employees that you don't know anyone and no one knows you anymore.
There is no longer that sense of a family and I'm made to feel like a stranger even though I have shopped at the same location for over 30 years.
This is not where I will shop at any further and give my money elsewhere

Went into conduct banking with my mother and she fell ill. The staff were wonderful to assist me and ask for the Mercy nurse on staff in the same building with separate office. The nurse was very attentive and recommended we go to emergency. She helped me walk my mother to the care where we drove the few minutes to Mercy hospital. PriceShoppers and other businesses were wonderful.

Nice place to sit and eat. Great selection at the deli. Store has an easy to navigate layout.

First time visiting this Price Chopper, I will be back for sure! And it's close to where I live.When I lived in Kansas City, Price was my store! This store is clean, the shelves were neatly arranged, staff was friendly and complying.

Overall good store. Ive actually had a cashier ring me up for a 12pk of coke that wasn't mine and couldnt get refunded for it. Was a little upset but the cashier did help us pay for the balance that we were short to make sure we didnt have to put back a pack of meat. But if we werent charged the pop we wouldn't have been over our budget .

Best grocery store in Des Moines. Big selection and delicious meats.

I^ve always liked the Dahl's on Ingersol -- a beautiful grocery store. Now it is Price Chopper. Not quite as fancy, but more reasonably priced. They are getting more like Dahl's was though. Today I noticed they have a diner. Very cool.

This grocery store is absolutely awesome they got a great walk in clinic they got a great selection on sodas great selection on beef and meats and fish absolutely awesome and it's right down the street from my apartment every time I go and maybe hard to find stuff but you always leave with more than you expected to get in my case this Price Chopper knows how to serve its community and give people what they want in a grocery store Price Chopper keep it up I will definitely keep coming
