Blake and Dr. Williams were wonderful with our Hadley dog. Very thorough, took time to listen to my concerns, and were very efficient with the appointment time. Always a good experience when we are there.

Dr Witte is absolutely amazing, and really goes above and beyond. Our cat was very sick and she explained all our options, let us stay to see him after his surgery, took the best care of our guy who was very very sick and called with updates and even sent pictures and messages to us! It’s easy to see she loves animals, and sacrificed her personal time after hours to make sure Kaycee was still ok. Thanks to all the wonderful staff, our family is whole again and we are eternally grateful!

I recently took my dog, Willow, to the vet for her routine checkup and vaccinations, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the Kaela was incredibly welcoming and made Willow feel comfortable. The vet was thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Willow didn't seem stressed at all, which is a testament to the clinic's excellent care and professionalism. I highly recommend this vet for anyone looking for top-notch care for their furry friend! Five stars!

Had to seek help from a local vet to have my terrier's eye treatment continued from California. I was worried because I have used the same vet for 20 years or more in Cali. Altoona vet hospital was great with my old girl. She was being held and comforted by their techs when I returned to pick her up. Blake was super great, gentle, and kind. Much compassion. Well deserved 5 stars all around. Thank you for ❤ loving on her.

We’ve been taking our dogs here for years and have always had great care! While they’re on the expensive side, we’ve always felt that they listen to our concerns and help come up with plans that fit everyone’s abilities and expectations. Kaela and Julia helped calm down my very nervous dog today so we could get the exam done! The doctors there are wonderful!

I went to AVH to get a good vet to take care of my new French bulldog but it was Dr. Witte that has me coming back as she is not one of the best vets but is the Best vet I would want for my dog! She treats her like her own and takes very good care of her!! The rest of the staff is very professional too if you have a family pet that needs a good veterinarian you will be very pleased with Dr. Kelsey Witte!!

Was such a good experience, knew my dog and cat were well taken care of. Kaela really showed her knowledge of pets when she advised me on how to treat my dog. Is the first place I think to take my puppies and cat for anything!

We have been with the Vet Hospital for the past 3 years. Staff and Doctors are great! Very easy to schedule appointments. I know that I am heard when I share issues with my dogs. I would 100% recommend Altoona Veterinary hospital if you are looking for a new vet.

Jayna is one of the shining stars at Altoona Veterinary Hospital in my book! She’s always friendly when we (or anyone else!) arrives and treats all my pets as if they were her own. She listens to concerns or questions and effectively translates them to the doctors and provides prompt responses.
She’s truly someone who cares about animals, the education of their owners, and is just incredibly kind hearted!!! We adore her!!!
