Using the computerized menu boards to order our lunch was excellent because it saves so much time. Due to the kind and helpful staff, our food didn't even take that long to prepare.

It's a burger franchise, best burgers period. All other menu items are delicious for variety. Great fries, always ice cream and plushies.

This is the best dine in experience I've had any any McDonalds. Workers even checked in on us as if they were servers in a normal restaurant!

The team at this location got much better several months ago. I started coming to this location again and loving it. Then the adopted the new McDonalds standard inside layout. This layout affects service and speed. Dropped from 5 stars to three. What were they thinking?

Update: the service at this location is usually really good and the soda mix is usually the best in the area. They also usually have someone at the front register to take orders if you don't want to use the kiosks. Upping the rating to five stars.

Super friendly. Super fast. I always appreciate the fact that my food is piping hot and not lukewarm like other MickeyD’s.

This is my all-time favourite McDonald's in this area. It is just 5 minutes from my office. So I go there very frequently. The staffs of this location are better than others. They always smile and greet me while serving my food. Never got disappointed from them. There fries are the best than others. All the time I ordered, I got fresh and well seasoned fries. And all other foods are as usual like other McDonald's.

As far as McDonald's goes, the one in Grimes Iowa is great! The place was very clean and the service was great. I really appreciate how they bring your order out to you so you don't have stand around in crowd up front. This is our 6th year for coming here for a family Shamrock Shake Night!

Wow what fast, accurate and fresh service! I don't think I have ever went through a drive through as quick as I did on 7/23. AND my order was 100% correct! Made for a great end to a long day on the road. Thank you!

Honestly I love this place! The workers are so nice! I actually don't mind waiting for my food because then I know my food is fresh and hasn't been sitting around! So when they tell me to pull forward I don't mind at all it just means my food will be nice and fresh! I think it's absolutely ridiculous of how many complaints there are about the wait. Yes I understand if you are in a rush to go somewhere and you want it quick. Means don't go during a rush hour. You also have to understand that employees try their best to get the food out on time. I have seen how many people they have. 1 normally on grill and 4 making the sandwiches and nuggets. They have 4 grills and during rush hours they are normally full trying to cook quarters and regular meat and bacon. There will sometimes be another person helping with fryers. It's a small work area. Everyone should really calm down I mean I'd like to half of these people complaining about small stuff try work here for a day. I can tell you guys tend to get busy a lot. With how busy you guys get I don't blame you guys for struggling a little bit to keep the place clean (especially when out side and in lobby some people like to throw their trash everywhere even though there are freaking garbage cans everywhere!) During rush hours I can also see why food would get mixed up or given to wrong people. I had it happen with me. Honestly some people need to calm down a bit. Now when it comes to the employees actually keeping things sanitary the majority do a great job from what I can see. Some do tend to touch their hair and and mask a lot. Which should be addressed.

Clean dining room and friendly staff. The food was made to order as well. I requested no salt on my burger and fries, and it came exactly as I ordered.

Always fresh and fast. Yes the lines are long because it’s the only quality fast food place in the area. The customer service is always good and their chicken tenders are the best among many McDonald locations I’ve been to.

The staff was very friendly as always. I checked to make sure my order was correct, and it was. The food was hot and fresh.

I gave it five stars because I was starving and everything tasted really good whether it was paper and and sharp french fries but they were there for me so I can't be so tough on them

Only Mc Donald’s I’ve found in the Des Moines area that still serve biscuits and gravely!

HOTTEST MEAL EVER IT WAS OUTSTANDING!!

Three of us in leadership roles with Grimes Volunteer Support Services have coffee there every Thursday at 9:35 AM. Great coffee, (and snacks when we weaken and indulge!) and spectacular service. Warm atmosphere, friendly service and quiet enough we can discuss business with comfort.

I'm a regular customer at this McDonalds the staff is fast and management is second to none.
I would go out of my way to come to this McDonalds.Keep up the good work.I still think this is a great McDonalds...but I must say this McDonalds has a member of management that is a closing manager and he is not very friendly he is a jerk and to be honest a good comparison would be a donkey...This restaurant also has another night time manager named Chris he does a great job.Suggestion McDonalds....you are remodeling....you have a large rolloff out back....get rid of the donkey with the bad attitude.
