NOSH Cafe and Eatery

This cute cafe hit the spot after a tough workout. I got the combo with a chicken avocado sandwich and spicy tomato soup, with a green smoothie upgrade. That smoothie was GREEN and the soup wasn’t too spicy. Also got one of their massive vegan cookies and wow. Mike went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my visit, go see them!

I was looking for a fresh cup of coffee on an early Sunday morning and they had it. Just a quick walk from the Embassy Suites, it’s located right off of the main road that leads to the capitol building. They have a pretty large menu with several options, their cookies looked amazing and I will definitely need to go back to try one! Their coffee is good and the service fast and delightful. The ambiance is adorable, they have plants hanging everywhere.

Had a great experience at Nosh Cafe. I got an amazing bagel with lox. The tomato basil soup was also amazing. The shop is adorable and cozy. Everything was clean and the service was fast. My barista was super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

First time visiting here and I couldn’t decide what I wanted (such a picky eater) + I wanted a good breakfast. Had many choices vegan friendly choices (they have almond + oat milk!) plus a vegan burrito! The sriracha sauce was so good (a bit spicy but so worth it!)

I also had a cinnamon roll + saved the chocolate chip cookie filled pb for later. Also the smoothie was delicious! (Forgot what flavor it was already) It had a very nice and comfy vibe. Would love fo visit here again in the future!

WOW!! Not only is their food and coffee absolutely amazing, but the staff is top notch! I was having a stressful morning and the barista gave me a pep talk and was so sweet. I also have a dairy allergy so I order most things vegan and both the barista and lady in the back made sure what I ordered was correct and that I didn’t want vegan meat as well. I was blown away with my overall experience. Thank you Nosh!!

Wonderful customer service! I placed an order online. When I called to confirm if something was gluten-free, they were super friendly and helpful. The vegan grilled cheese with chickpea patty was so good. I needed some comfort food, it hit the spot. The blue smoothie was so healthy and delicious. Thanks guys for an awesome experience!

Nosh is easily one of my favorite local (and women-led!!) shops in town. I think about Nosh way too much honestly (so says my wallet). They have amazing smoothies: try the blue dream or the Carrot-ginger-turmeric or if they are still doing the chocolate cherry with chocolate Hanna Valley Protein powder, GET THAT ONE! There are sooo many vegan options or vegan modifications available. Their coconut soft serve is a staple and they have an vegan orange sorbet right now that mixes with it so well! If we're talking toasts, the vacation toast (with vegan cream cheeze) is the way to go (and the way to my heart). Thanks, Nosh, for literally being THE BEST!

Got the açaí bowl with banana & PB & a iced vanilla latte. Açaí bowl was delish - a good amount of fruit & granola and an amazing amount of peanut butter. Mochi is a nice addition too. The latte was delicious too. Not too sweet.
Love the atmosphere in here too. Would love to WFH from here. Very calming & overall good vibe.

I love this place, it is so wholesome and the food is amazing. Last time I went I got the Nutella toast and the most amazing smoothie with raspberry in it. The staff is so amazing.

Such a cute atmosphere and some great food! I ordered the green goddess smoothie and the chicken artichoke sandwich. I would definitely recommend them both!

One of my favorite places! So many healthy menu options & everything that I’ve had is amazing & so delicious! Definitely a must stop when you’re in the East Village or Downtown Des Moines! Highly recommend!

OH. MY. WORD. I ordered a delicious smoothie and a piece of toast with goat cheese and crispy sage. Delicious, perfect every bite was fantastic one million stars!!!

This was my first time ordering from Nosh, and I’ll definitely be back again! My salad was super fresh and loaded with so much goodness! Portion size was perfect for lunch and my protein (crispy chickpea patty) was unique and scrumptious! Tropical Paradise Smoothie was deliciously divine!!!

I had a great experience here. I’m not a sweets person for first meal of the day so I asked if they’d be open to making a savory bowl instead! They thought I was crazy but I LOVED it! Thanks Nosh crew ♥

Best cafe I've been to in a long time. As a California native, I've had plenty of avocado toast, but none as good as this! The smoothies have a great texture, and the kids loved the strawberry and Nutella toast! Excellent service and cute decor! Would definitely come back!

Everything always taste so fresh! Love their Thai salad and scallion cream cheese.

Love the delicious chia pudding bowls here. There's not many places around where you can get those. I've also been coming here since they opened and really love the vibe right in the East village.

Cute & comfortable little food place to "nosh" - lots of tasty options & plenty gluten free & dairy free options. Coffees, shakes, bagels, all day breakfast, sandwiches & frozen yogurt. Avocado toast on thick sourdough bread with "everything" seasoning, poached egg & tomatoes was delicious!
