This store is so amazing! Their jewelry and crystals are so stunning. The owner is such a positive, welcoming, and knowledgeable woman. I highly recommend this East Village gem!

This is literally the best store. Not only do I love going in but I brought my nephew in and the owner took him under her wing. She helped him find two crystals that he absolutely loves. He was so excited to show his family when he got home. The shop is truly magical and brings an overwhelming calming feeling. So thankful this store is around!

My favorite place! Heather is an amazing human being and sources the most eclectic mix of crystals, candles, vintage jewelry and mystical goodies. Just walking into the shop brings a huge smile to my face, I love to see the new arrivals and pick up my regular items. A few years ago my BFF surprised me and rented out the shop after hours for my birthday, it was perfect! I cannot recommend KIN enough and have enjoyed getting my friends and family hooked on it too. 🖤

KIN is my favorite store to visit. The shop is lovely and you never know what kind of neat treasures you'll find, but also Heather is a lovely person. I don't feel like a random customer when I shop with her, I feel like a friend. These are today's vintage finds.

Wife and I recently did a day date with a couples Kindred Auras session. So much fun and really enjoyed the time they spent walking us thru all the details. Will be back again! Should be in every couples date night bucket list!!!!!!

I found this store in East Village Des Moines when I was most in need of healing. It was absolutely an encounter of fate. Since becoming a regular customer there I have found so much growth and self worth. Their team of thoughtful employees are so enthusiastic about their products! It makes you so excited to take that new crystal home that just lit up your whole body when you held it.

I'm all about my home smelling wonderful and the candles/incense from this store are AMAZING. KIN cares a lot about bringing in products from authentic and high quality suppliers. Their passion for their craft keeps me coming back almost weekly.

I have been shopping at Kin for several years now. I have known the owner since my first visit and could not ask for more knowledgeable and helpful person. She has a great staff and they all go above and beyond to make Kin a place that is a peaceful and inviting experience. Crystals, candles, jewelry, incense, wall hangings, books and so much more. If you are looking for something specific, if Heather doesn’t have it in stock - she will let you know when she does or keep you in mind when she is doing buying trips.

KIN is such a cozy, wonderful little shop. I love popping in and finding the perfect gifts for friends and family. Candles, room sprays, sage bundles and the CRYSTALS! The owner is so passionate and knowledge about crystals. I love learning from her. I also found the most perfect vintage turquoise ring at KIN. Her selection of vintage jewelry is amazing!

KIN is such an amazing place with such beautiful vibes. Heather is absolutely wonderful and my husband and I felt an instant connection with her and her shop. We keep coming back and are never disappointed. We've even gone to one of the aura readings she hosts in her shop and are excited to go again. Every item in her store is beautiful and you can tell it is selected with love.

This store is what witchy dreams are made of! It was hard to not drop my entire paycheck here bc everything they have is perfection! Best incense and candle selection ever! I was fortunate enough to snag a cauldron candle! The woman working was awesome too! Very welcoming and super helpful! Will be a regular spot for me! Great for gifts too!

I'm not from the Des Moines area but am familiar with the store and knew I wanted to buy something special to celebrate one of my friend's accomplishments.

I contacted KIN and one of the women who works at the shop, Haley, hopped on an Instagram call with me and virtually walked me around the store to pick out some meaningful items. She was super helpful and even wrote up some quick notes on the properties of the crystals I purchased. And then KIN was even able to deliver the gift for me!!!

They really went above and beyond to make this gift something special.

KIN is one of the most lovely shops in town! They could charge for the good vibes just being in the space. This place is AMAZING! They offer some pretty awesome workshops. If you haven't done the aura photo yet, you won't be disappointed. They are a wealth of knowledge with stone properties. The store ambiance is wonderful. I could easily stay there for hours.

I was just in the shop a few days ago for the first time, and I already need to go back. I have never been into such an inviting and positive store before. I felt right at home. The employees were so respectful of my space, and still helped me tremendously. I absolutely love it.

Kin is one of the most beautifully curated stores in Des Moines, Heather has created such a warm and inviting space. I always love going in the store solo or even with my kids who love it just as much. Thank you Heather, you are always a delight.
