I have been going to Ramsey Hardware for over 10 years. I can count on Mark, Peter, Paul, Dan to help with whatever I come to them with. Ramsey Hardware is more of a value than any big box store ever can give you because of the service that you get from Ramsey Hardware that you likely don't get from any big box store. I can pop in and out of Ramsey Hardware quicker than I can with those big box stores.

I can always count on friendly and informative service here. They are happy to explain when I have questions. They also have explained to my son, so he can learn to fix and repair. My first choice any time I need household items/repairs.

It’s such a delight to have a friendly and helpful old-time downtown hardware store here in Ramsey. If you haven’t yet visited, may I strongly encourage you to do so. Mark, Pete and the crew are so approachable, down to earth and knowledgeable. There are no “dumb questions”, it’s a “safe space” in that they are patient and have a kind twinkle in their eyes to help advise or find that tool or product that you forgot the name of, and can only describe. Recently, I’ve brought some old table lamps in for rewiring to modern safety standards (!), and the work was wonderful. Did I mention they also fix stuff ? After your first visit, you’ll be family, and finding reasons to stop by. I love picking up that item on my shopping list, and then wandering the aisles for my entertainment, always finding additional things that “I didn’t realize I needed” !

The group at Ramsey hardware are the most helpful people and they always have what we need. They are fabulous.

Ramsey hardware is a cornerstone of the downtown Ramsey community and his been faithfully serving the residents for over 30 years!!!! That doesn’t happen without great customer service, a knowledgeable staff with expertise in various areas of hardware, paint and home improvement, and always having those hard to find items! Ramsey hardware is an old school main st business that truly embodies the spirit of the community. Every time you walk in the store, you are greeted with a smile and someone ready and willing to help. During these crazy times of the pandemic, Ramsey Hardware quickly pivoted to be able to serve customers with easy phone ordering and quick outdoor pick up! They also launched a new online store to make buying items even easier.

Beware of fake reviews. Look at the time stamps and notice how many 1 star reviews are being put in at the same time. If you really want to know how good the store is, ask anyone in Ramsey and the surrounding areas what their impressions are. You would be hard pressed to find many folks with a bad review. If you still don’t believe it, call them up and order something. I can guarantee you will be satisfied.

Ramsey Hardware & Paint has been a part of the Ramsey community for years, but since the pandemic closed everything down, they have been the one place we could depend upon to try and provide us with the things to keep things going. They have been available by phone since the day this started. They make sure our orders (large & small) are filled promptly and placed in a safe place for us to pick up outside. They have worked tirelessly and have always been friendly and helpful. Without Ramsey Hardware, the past year would have been so much worse. Thank you to everyone who works there. We will be customers for life!

Phenomenal local hardware store. They have always been incredibly helpful and I have relied on the guys there for paint, home reno questions, everything under the sun. They always know the answer to what part you might need or what steps you have to do to fix something at home. Have been a patron my whole adult life and couldn't survive as a local homeowner without them in town! They also can order anything you need even if it's not there. Awesome store. Have been doing curbside pick up only during the pandemic and are continuing to keep their older team safe which I understand.

Ramsey hardware is a great place. It’s super convenient and the staff is fantastic. You just don’t get this service at a big box hardware store. And in addition to being a great store they also proudly sponsor many recreational sports teams in Ramsey and the community as a whole

I’ve lived in this town just shy of 16 years and Ramsey Hardware has been amazing to have around the corner. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and funny. They’re incredibly helpful and if they don’t have what you need, they offer to order it or send you in the right direction. So glad they’re a part of our “downtown”!

I've been shopping at Ramsey Hardware for 20 years and there aren't enough superlatives to cover how awesome these guys are. They're honest and straightforward with their opinions, and they're creative when you've got a problem and you're not sure how to solve it. They've been incredibly responsive during covid and their customer service has gotten even better, if that was possible. Some people say that restaurants or cafes anchor a Main Street, but in my opinion, Ramsey Hardware anchors our Main Street and we couldn't be more lucky.

Great family store where the customers come first. Required paint and supplies for my new condo. They had the exact brand and colors I needed in stock the same day I came in at a superb price. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, will always go back for my futures needs.

I'm a longtime customer, and Ramsey Hardware provides an exceptionally high level of personalized, intelligent, practical service. This community would be a lesser place without them. Not only do they know their products, they also have numerous contacts such that they can refer other providers as needed. Nothing remotely similar can be gotten at a big box store.

Went in pre-pandemic to find a grill cover - the employees were super friendly and willing to dig out exactly what I was looking for. Post-pandemic, we moved in nearby and needed a key cut. Didn’t realize we needed to call ahead but we called from outside and the owner was super nice about it and cut the key while we waited in the back. It took less than 5 minutes, and the key works great.

Sorry Ramsey Hardware, it looks like you have a troll infestation. Hopefully reviews from your loyal customers will drown them out.

We LOVE Ramsey Hardware and Paint. They shine in both the hardware department AND the paint department. The customer service is top rate - and everyone there is helpful and knowledgeable. If you know what want - and especially if you don't - they will help make sure you get what you need. It's a small town hardware store that puts service before anything else. All you need to do is ask anyone on the staff - and if they don't KNOW - they will find out, direct you to someone who can help, or rarely, refer you someplace else. Sure, you could go to a big box store, but why would you? Covid restrictions have been handled to perfection - so even though you can't go IN - you will still get the same amazing service and pick up couldn't be any easier. RHP is our first choice for all our hardware and painting needs.

Great Local Store. I needed spray paint for an art project. The person on the phone took the extra time to listen to the detailed explanation of the colors I was looking for and helped pick out the perfect shades for contactless pick up. Always helpful & knowledgeable.

I drive past other hardware stores that are much closer to go here. Their customer service blows any other place out of the water, especially the box stores. Knowledgeable, polite, and always willing to assist or give constructive advice. The owner, Mark, is aces. He was the original reason I wentout of my way but his staff is a close second. I can't say enough good things - hit them up before your orange or blue box store.
