ShopRite of Ramsey

I recently took a trip to Northern NJ & knew I absolutely had to stop at ShopRite. The employees were all very helpful & kind, plus the variety of foods were impressive! It brought back great childhood memories.

ShopRite of Ramsey is at a great location right off the Franklin tpk. Inside the store is an all new and updated and modern store. The outside of the store feels out of date but has a large parking lot.

I absolutely love shopping for groceries at ShopRite !as they have good prices and excellent variety.

I was visiting Ramsay and suddenly found this ShopRite, and I can tell you that this is a very nice supermarket and wonderful employees too! The employees should have their own parking lot, so they wouldn't have to share with the customers. Also, there should be some law enforcement for the truck drivers who deliver cargo to ShopRite around the time of shipment arrival for protection and security purposes.

I am a passionate cooking enthusiast and LOVE going to marketa and grocery stores, bit and small, looking in every nook and cranny for fun finds. There is NEVER any shortage of interesting finds at this ShopRite! I try as hard as I can to run in for my one or two items and still end up spending minimum 30min simply because I'm looking in every aisle for what's new, what's interesting, what's exciting and needs to go home with me, and what I've missed every other time I've been there. 🙂 Yesterday my mind was BLOWN when I discovered how big the dairy cases were. I wanted to try a new yogurt brand and flavor or two. Holy COW... it was cold case after cold case of any kind yogurt you can think of, and some you may not. I ended up bringing home a tahitian vanilla sheep's milk yogurt that I am looking forward to trying, and a passion fruit yogurt that was delicious! Same goes for the milk and cheese selections in the dairy aisle - I've never seen such a wide selection in my life and while this location gets insanely packed sometimes, I always know there's treasures for me to find!

Larger ShopRite in the area which I typically go to if the one nearest me doesn’t have a product I’m looking for. Open until midnight.

Enormous range of selections and brands.. with reasonable prices. Excellent bakery. You have the option of using self checkout (lots of stations), cashier checkout or manned express lanes.

I was about to give up looking for distilled water for my humidifier, I live in a hard water area and the water mist leaves a white dust on every surface; then Charles from stocking found the KerSplash gallon at an awesome price! he's the best.

Very nice store a lot of choices. In my opinion, however, they need more help. Maybe if they upped the salary to meet other grocery stores they would get more help. Also if they invested in motorized cart pushers that might assist their help also. People should be more cognizant of people pushing carts instead of using them as decoys. Just some thoughts Inserra might like to look in to.

As in most ShopRite stores, the selections are usually good, and the sales are excellent! I go to the ShopRite of Ramsey weekly, and find that they are often out of several products. They had absolutely no kosher turkeys or chickens for Thanksgiving, saying they ran out way before Thanksgiving. Still, the sales are good enough to keep me coming back, and their own brands are top quality at reasonable prices.

I love everything about shoprite, especially this one. The workers are friendly, the place is clean and well stocked. I can always find an employee when I need something whether it’s repackaging 2 meat packages into 1 or finding a product on the shelves. I went to their pocketbook bingo with my mom and we had the best time ever. They treated us like family and made me even happier to support their store for all of my grocery shopping needs.

The “long lines” everyone talks about go by in 2-5 minutes. And even if they took longer, I think everyone in this world can benefit from a few minutes of slow down in this crazy busy world. The “overcrowding” isn’t something that this store has much control over. Yeah, they could limit people that come in but then all the whiners would put bad reviews that they have to wait outside before they go in.

This is one of the best Shop Rites I’ve ever seen it’s well stocked with sale and regular priced items!

I was shopping in the other stores that are in the strip mall and decided to get a few things at shoprite. I'm so glad I did. I usually don't shop here but I might have to start. I like the location and layout inside the store. It is clean and has a lot of space in between isles. The staff was professional and help me find what I was looking for. As I was browsing I noticed the sales on certain items are excellent. Also, I loved the fresh cooked foods they have along with sushi and I think I even saw a poke bowl. I can't wait to go back to try the foods they have. Over all it was a pleasant experience and I would absolutely recommend this shoprite to anyone looking for a new spot to shop for groceries.

Although this is not the store I regularly shop in, I had a great experience shopping here last week. I must mention that my keys and phones were accidently locked inside my running vehicle and to my surprise I experienced nothing but a professional & caring employee "Jerry" in the parking lot who let me use his phone and stood with me until my son came with a second set of keys. It was 20 degrees outside but this young gentleman made sure that myself and my mother were safe. Jerry definately went above and beyond for us. Thank you Jerry for your kindness!!!!

Great store. Always crowed. But that means that the food is always fresh. Great sushi! They will make anything you want, just go there first, tell them what you like, and they will make a roll or whatever. Ask for John, he is super friendly! After you finished your shopping, pick up your sushi.

I absolutely love this ShopRite! They're constantly keeping the shelves fully stocked, it's very clean and organized, and the staff is very friendly & helpful. Not to mention, they have the BEST PRICES!
