A comfortable place. I love the hot air balloons hung on the trees as the decoration for the park, which were handmade by the primary school children.

There are no vendors during the day, but when it’s sunny it’s good to get together with some friends to picnic on the grass.

There’s also a Starbucks there, if you happen to have some spare time, here’s a recommendation that you buy a piece of cake and a cup of coffee to enjoy the afternoon here in TieHuaTsun.

Had a nice evening watching local artists. It was well organized with nice drinks. Lots of seating inside and outside. Good performers.

It has a nice collection of novelty shops from local artists and designers. On the weekend there are music and shows from local performers. The vibe is cool and chill. You can also find some yummy street food and small bites. During the summer balloon festival it is more busy but there are more pop-up stores too.

Such a lively place with many food stalls and live music. Good spot to enjoy the evening.

This is a treat, and is just about the only tourist attraction worth visiting in Taitung after four days here. I have to say both vendors and punters are friendly here, and the music offerings at the Blues House in particular are a surprise - in a pleasant way.

The coolest place in Taitung run by the coolest local I’ve met so far! The musical selection is diverse and captivating, the bar is cozy and relaxing, and the overall vibe of the village and street market is just unbeatable. Definitely a place you need to check out for yourself if you’re in Taitung and make sure to bring your friends along too!

Amazing band happened to perform on that night. It is such a beautiful voice and awesome band while enjoying my beer throughout the whole session till the end.

the best time to visit is the late evening, it looks different with lights on

The place consists of two main rows of shops, instead of the usual food stand you find at night markets, most of these sell handmade works of art, ranging from accessories to sculptures. There are usually performers playing music in the background. There are also cafes not too far from this main walkway. It’s nice to come in the evening after 8, when it’s not too busy. The downside is that most of the shops would be getting ready to leave for the night.

Tianhua Music Village is just opposite Taitung Story Museum. Because it’s a music settlement and night market jointly built by musicians and art workers in Taitung, when you come here, you can walk around to take picture of many performers and installation arts around the area. The art area is design with all the containers that gives the unique view and can make you feel like you are lost in a maze when walking around.
Although there are shops open in the morning, the Tianhua Music Village is actually opened from 5-10PM, and it’s recommended to visit on Sunday with many open performers and shopping stalls.

It is a really nice place to do a night stroll and enjoy some local music, arts and crafts. A very good craft beer scene happening there too. Probably one of the coolest spots in Taitung.

Today is my second time to this market, last time was 6 years ago. All the arrangement and the market size is better and bigger, love all handmade shops there.

You could find a wide variety of hand craft arts here. Street musicians, live performances, and a chilled and welcoming air.

Good value. Only 150$ for 2 hours of live music... reasonably priced drinks..G&T only 180$... nice vibe in the whole place.
