I didn't expect much, I rented a bicycle and went out for a very early discovery advanture. I met an older gentleman walking, asking him how to get to beach, he gave me more info than expected. He suggested I ride pass a wooden bridge and continue to Pipa Lake. What a wonderful surprise, clear reflective tranquil lakes. Then I proceeded to jetty area, and what a pretty sunrise. The sun light shoot thru the cloud, it's well worth waking up early morning.

This place is pretty good for groups or families, especially, kids. You can walk around or even do a picnic. Plus, the place is accessible.

Easy to get to. All the ocean you need. Black sand. Lots of rocks. The rocks are excellent quality. Free

Nice view here of the ocean. You can get all the way here from the Taitung Forest Park by bike. Takes about 30 minutes. Many great photo spots with the ocean. There also is a structure saying ‘TAITUNG’ near the road and it seems like a great place to take photos but no one was there so if you go here I’d recommend you go snap a few photos there.

I came here at night time while walking near the beach and the lights were beautiful.

The lights run across the whole "tree/nest" structure and to my surprise, at 8:00pm there is a short light show where the lights flash on and off to the best of classical music for about 15 minutes.

Inside the"nest" there are floor markings on the distance and direction of some nearby countries.

Overall, I found it very interesting!

Its very cool and nice place to get silenced just beside sea sore makes me feel like best.

A really sweet place to visit and sit inside just to listen to the birds sing in their home. Also a great place to take photos and is right next to the lake and park also not too far from xiaoyehliu either!!

The unique structure makes it easy to identify. Visited during a hot afternoon and it's definitely the best place to survive the scroching hot beach.

Its a good place to get together During Chinese new year.. you can light fireworks without harming. And a good place to bring food like for picnic or BBQ..
Me and friends bring some finger snack while drinking wine and watching other groups playing, lighting fireworks playing musics. And there is a spot for night market also that you can enjoy💚💛❤

It’s the night time that the light makes this place to be amazingly beautiful. While you enjoy the light that it keep changing, you can also hear the nature sound from the sea. What a peaceful place to hang out with friends and also a good spot for taking photos!

Magnificent!!! Must visit when you are visiting Taitung!!! Wake up early in the morning wait for the sunrise!!!
