Sheraton Taitung Hotel

Very suitable for both business or traveling with families, great interior design on the rooms, sauna and a little gym for work out, would definitely come back again and highly recommended to friends👍💪

Lobby was spacious and elegant.
Room service was good, it has all the necessity.
Food is wonderfully delicious, endless choices, more than enough time to enjoy. Very satisfying.💯

The night market just right in front of hotel. It’s awesome that we can enjoy the local nightlife easily. Also the facilities for kids also is great for kids. The exclusive just perfect for you to pick a book and relax with music and beverages.

This is the second time I’ve been here. I really recommend this hotel. It’s very comfortable and clean.

Enjoyed the stay at this centrally located hotel that is a stone's throwaway from the walking street with myriad of retail, food and beverage offerings.

Although basic, the gym offers a fair selection of fitness equipment for basic workout needs. The partnership with Starbucks presents the opportunity for hotel guests to enjoy Starbucks coffee at breakfast.

Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a hotel with convenience and access to amenities.

Location is fantastic. Night market is just outside the door. Clean, and polite staff. Breakfast is awesome. i would like to see some more snacks or food in the executive lounge though.

Five star hotel with five star services and facilities. The lounge is beautiful and excellent service.

This is the only hotel to stay in Taitung. So far the best Marriott property in Taiwan with great staff. Better than the W or Grand Sheraton in Taipei.

Only issue with my room was the aircon had some issue but otherwise a near perfect stay here.

My wife and daugther loved the room!!
Plus the sea view!! What else can you ask for!! You are getting your money's worth!!
Beds are good for the back as well..

They got Starbucks at 1F!! Just wow!! 😊

You can also stay and chill on 1F while sipping that coffee..

Overall is quite nice experience. The staves of front desk and restaurant are super friendly. Especially the breakfast ones. The art and soft furnishings in this hotel are outstanding, I’m pretty expressed. The only thing is the housekeeping was just OKAY. Missed few things and didn’t finished their job properly. Expect that all the rest were very great.

If you are an aviation geek, you will love this hotel. Try to request a higher-floor room facing NE for a stunning view of the Air Force base and the Pacific Ocean. My kid who just had the Top Gun movie was amazed by the fighter jet training exercises which happened right in front of his eyes.
Great breakfast selection with local cuisines.
The lack of bathtub in the room? Well, you may call it a flaw.
Overall a decent experience and would love to come back again.

Loved our stay. Extremely convenient to everywhere you need to see. Free bike is a great way to get around (some with baby seat too). These days the night market occurs literally right at its front door (Thu, Fri, Sat). My 19 month old had a blast playing all the games and the vendors are all nice enough to let him win toys even if he didn’t technically do well. Very generous.

The two bedroom suite is nice. Had everything we needed (incl for baby).

One of my favorite surprises was how good the breakfast was. Selection was endless but it’s really seldom where you find hot pot dishes as all you can eat. We stayed for 3 nights and I went straight for yi mien noodles every morning. You can also opt for other noodle and soup dishes. All these are made to order. And of course you have the usual Japanese style and Taiwanese style breakfast items. You can even get yokult and edamame if you wish. Totally worth the room cost just for their breakfast.

Personally tho, I’d skip their 2nd floor Chinese restaurant. Felt understaffed and dishes were mediocre even for Peking duck or lobster noodles. Nothing bad just nothing to rave about.

But truth is you are not staying at Sheraton Taitung for their Chinese restaurant anyway. You’re staying here for their 5-star service, location, and in my case going forward…their breakfast!!!

The best hotel in Taitung area. Room is not very big but cozy. The breakfast was quite many choices, but swimming pool is quite small. It is in a night market street area, very convenient to go. Highly recommend to stay there.

I didn't stay at this hotel. But, my friends and I used it as a meeting point for our bike trip because it is an easy to find, tall building. My friends were a bit late, but the staff here were very friendly and helpful. They let me use their wifi to check for messages from my friends and even offered me a free bottle of water while I was waiting. It was a really hot day. And when my friends arrived, they both got a free bottle of water too. So, overall, we had a very positive experience here. I stayed at the Sheraton in Richmond Hill near Toronto and the staff there were similarly helpful.

Must stay here if you travel with 1y old infant - the receptionist is highly professional and hospitable. Also good location at center of Taitung - near the popular train station and nigh market.

In order to build the second Sheraton Hotel, they roughly killed a 60 year-old tree and the other trees...Ironically the problem is that the trees and the land which the trees locate are actually belonging to the state, we people ; are the public property.

Amazing hotel!! Loved everything about this place. The rooms are huge! The front desk is super helpful. Front desk staff member Jess delivered 5 star service. Also make sure to grab breakfast at the hotel!!

Well I got to say for real I love this place. The staff are amazing and always remember my name. James the night manager was amazing great couple days spent there. The only thing I found a problem was not much tv channels. Only 1 English Channel and the rest all Chinese. I wish it had HBO or Starz or anything more for English. No matter what it’s my go to place I’ll be returning
