Water Running Upward

Nature at its best very few of such you can find with many tourist attractions around you will 😘 Ve the atmosphere good view from the sea why wouldn't you love nature

Take everything you know about physics and science, and throw it in the garbage. They are wrong, water is right. Water runs upward.

Be inspired. Be motivated. If water can overcome gravity, what excuses do we have for our own shortcomings?

Bruce Lee said it best,
"Water can drip (upward) and it can crash (upward). Be water, my friend."

This is the most silly tourist attraction in Taiwan ever. 😂
Not worth coming here just for this, but well worth stopping by if you have some spare time. There are more tourists here than in Taroko though. 😅

A short stop is all that’s needed. Even though I know water can not run up hill, it still leaves you confused. Very cleaver and impressive to see.
Small garden area above which is maintained to a very high standard.
All you need is 15 minutes to fully enjoy the area.

An interesting marvel giving the impression that water is flowing upstream.

What a nice place to stop at on our road trip! It's a small, well-maintained place where the main attraction is the optical illusion of water running upwards through a channel. I greatly enjoyed the stroll. It was off-season and slightly rainy so not a whole lot of people around.

Great place to relax. Has everything you need here. Souvenir shop, Toilets food and drink vending machines. And just to top of off it is kept very clean.

It's cool! Worth to stop. It is just few dozens of meters from the freeway

Great spot even if just to stop for a rest break and watch water flow uphill! (Or at least enjoy the illusion of such 😄)

Very good spot and optical illusion. It's underrated and has the potential to be a very popular spot if marketed properly. Definitely better than the 3.9 starts currently on Google reviews.

It's not the case. Actually, the stream only seems to run upwards in contrast to the surrounding geography which is a downslope, making the hillside stream look like going upwards.

Seeing is believing, when you see the road is going upwards, than you will start thinking the road is going upward, but it isn’t true.
It just visual effects.

Visual effect that makes it look like the water is running upstream. There are some stalls at the top of the attraction that sells some souvenirs and fruits. The custard apple is really sweet!

Fun stop

It's a nice small park. Inside the park, there are a few shops selling souvenirs and foods. It's great for a shot stop. :D
