A scenic area that is easily accessible, well planned and wheelchair friendly wooden platforms extended all the way from visitor centre.
Wind is strong so is the waves.
It may be a bit challenging if one wants to navigate on the uneven rock getting nearer to the raging waves.

Scenic spot on the east coast called Little Yeliu (Xiaoyeliu).When you arrive at Fugang Geopark go to the visitor center and learn about the ecological evolution of Fugang. I am really amazed in seaside plant and happy to hear the relaxing sound of wave coming from the ocean while walking on the coconut trail. I can hear the chirping of birds.Relaxing quiet atmophere of the mountain forest. You can take a rest in the pavillion and listen to the natural music of the waves. I also enjoy the breathtaking view of dancing ocean with thick layers of sandstone and thin layers of mudstone. There are visitor centers, shop that selling nice souvenirs and delicious different flavors of ice cream,clean restrooms,camping areas,and seaside trail park.Must visit in Taitung County, Taiwan and experience the magnificent landscape created by the changes in the ocean and the erosion of the ocean for thousands of years creating spectacular tofu rocks and honeycomb rocks that attract the attention of travelers like me. If you love natural wonder of nature you will surely enjoy it.

Excellent stop for a great ocean experience with easy walking paths, large clean restrooms, and a variety of shops of local goods.

A must see geological site in Taitung area. Coastal landforms such as honeycomb weathering, escarpment, weathering of core stones, layers of sedimentary rock and uplifting coral reef stone. Sandstone and shale are common in this area. Erosion and weathering are the major factors forming all the features. Can't miss this great scenic area!

great place to look at the coast and the pacific ocean. they've got all sorts of interesting looking rocks as a result of erosion over the years. they also have a few high points to view the coast. there's also a few stores selling souvenirs, ice cream and some other stuff. nice place to visit if you enjoy looking at the ocean. they have a trail to walk along and also can walk along the Rocky coast if you choose to.

There is no shelter on the coast, so be sure to take sun protection measures. Junjun's hat was temporarily bought in the sales area, and it can cover the back of the neck. Like charcoal, walking down the rock-paved path, the beauty of the coastal rocks instantly appears in front of you, and the blue sky is really beautiful. The amazing strange rocks and rocks, after the uplift of the crust and the erosion of the ocean for thousands of years, various beautiful rocks and rocks such as tofu rocks and mushroom rocks have appeared. We planned for the quick stopover to check out this place, and we spent almost 1.5 hours and we wish we can spend more time here if we could. This is a beautiful place, and my kids were enjoying rock climbing/ jumping, watching small fishes, crabs and lizards in between the rocks.

Fugang geo park is a excellent geo wonder park by the ocean. Good place to break the trip. They only charge 50NT for parking. Rock formations are so unique and beautiful it just out of our imaginations. We want to spend all day just wonder around here. There are some sandstone layers that’s super smooth and some facing ocean has various size of round holds. It’s just impressive work of art from nature.

A very picturesque location! The rock formations are certainly a sight to behold. During low tides, you can even spot a whole lot of benthic creatures (hermit crabs, small fishes) here and there. Do exercise caution during high tides and rough seas though

While we really enjoy the beautify view and the stones that have so any amazing shape. But the surprise that I found was the beef noodle soup served at the cafeteria is amazing good compared to most of the local noodle shops in the cities. You won't regret it and absolutely you should try it if you stop by next time.

A beautiful spot to admire nature and take photos.

Great way to explore the types of geological landscape of Taiwan.
Easy scheduled bus from Taitung Bus station to the venue.
2 hours more than enough to look around and for photo-taking. Then try to catch the next scheduled bus for your next stop.

This is a very cool place to explore the seaside and the unique sandstone and volcanic rock formations. Lovely, well kept trail system, resting areas and visitor center.

XiaoYeLiu, bcoz of d geological topography similar wth northern Taiwan a place called YeLiu, located at XinBei City. So tis place called XiaoYehLiu(Little yehliu).
But to me its more beauty, quiet (less a tourist), more leisure then Yeliu. Not far away from Taitung city, driving distance from Taitung city to here just about 15mins, you can bike to here oso if you wish, recommended to be at here if you are visiting Taitung, spot out the beauty of east coast of Taiwan.

The area possesses unique overturn of strata as well as fantastic assortment of oddly- shaped rocks formed by intense marine erosion:Honeycomb Rock, Sedimental Rock, Mushroom Rock, Doufu Rock and many others.
The campground is close by.

Beautiful scenery — path down to the rocks is closed for the pandemic but still totally worth an hour of strolling through the jungle like environment. Would love to get down to the rocks once the restrictions are over!

The rock formations here are awesome don't know how this came to be but thank you Nature. I rode a bike from Taitung forest park here, only about 20mins ride it's well worth it!

I cycled here from taitung it wasn't a bad ride either but you can get the bus... Or the tour bus that goes all the way to sanxiaotan an all day hop on hop off ride costs 299TND or or way costs 158NTD but the driver told us that if you use your Taiwan easy card it's half price!
If you have been to yehliu in the north this isn't anything like that. It's a nice coastal stop though.
